Took my car in to have an exhaust repair which they did very quickly and to my satisfaction. In addition to the exhaust repair I supplied them with four rubber brake hoses to change. A couple days after I got the vehicle back I decided to take a peek underneath and see what all had been done. Both rear brake line rubber hose clips that mount to the frame we're missing so the hoses were just hanging off the steel brake lines. The brake hose on the driver's rear wheel was routed so that it was rubbing on the wheel which damaged the brand new brake line in 2 places. I will be taking the car back to them next week to be properly repaired and safe for me to use. This should have never happened. Hopefully they will take care of the repair very quickly. Took car back this week with 4 new clips I purchased. I was assured the damaged and missing brake line retaining clips would be installed on the car as required. The zip tie they installed on the driver front brake would be replaced with the proper retaining clip. 1st set of photos how the car was fixed the 1st time. Bent and missing the retaining clips. The 2nd time they did replace the 2 missing clips from the rear brake lines. They replaced the missing clip and removed the zip tie from the driver front brake. The last photo shows the broken clip still on the passenger front brake after the 2nd repair yesterday. I supplied them with 4 new clips. I don't know what they did with this one. I was assured yesterday that everything was fixed properly. Left them a text message yesterday with photos to find out what is going on after a 2nd repair because the 1st was not done properly or safely. In my case they performed improper and unsafe work. This is not acceptable. The rear brakes would have failed in only a few days after the wheel had rubbed through the brake line possibly causing me to have an accident. read more

pass on this one. i went there a few weeks back. their markup on parts is excessive. shop supplies charges are high. overall service was expensive for what you get. workmanship was below average. cost was lower than getting a complete exhaust replacement but i did not need one. if you are stuck and need a mechanic they can do the job but i suggest find a trusted mechanic or get a recommendation. read more

As luck would have it, my service engine light came on just as my registration expired. After a trip to AutoZone, an oil change and a few phone calls to local mechanics, my luck changed when I called MOGO and Andrea answered. Within five minutes of our phone call ending, my truck was at their shop. And within five minutes of my arrival, one of their mechanics had the diagnostic scanner hooked up to my truck. The scanner gave the same, vague code as the one at AutoZone, so additional testing was needed. When I gave Andrea the greenlight to do the additional testing, I also told her that I was going to Uber myself back to work and come back towards the end of the day. Without hesitation, she offered to give me a ride back to work since it was only a mile or two away. Once the mechanic was able to zero in on and repair the issue, she called me and asked if 'now was a good time for her to pick me up' so I could get my truck. After driving it as she advised, my truck passed the e-check and I was able to renew my registration. In the couple minutes, we were able to chat while she was driving me back-and-forth, she mentioned her and her husband just moved to the area from Florida and had just recently acquired the business. I don't have any experience with the previous ownership, but the service I received from MOGO last week Is quite possibly the best customer service I've ever received. I got a local amazon deal for window tint on a 4 door car. http://local.amazon.com/cleveland-westside/B00JOLEUF2/window-tinting-for-a-two-or-four-door-car I had the impression that I could trade this voucher in for window tint. $140 for the voucher and the voucher for the tint job. But was I wrong. They did the windshield without asking and tried charging me for it, added money because I was driving a wagon rather than a sedan, then "shop fees" and tax... Total came out to almost $90 ontop of the $140 I though I was spending. I argue with the worker about them adding all of these fees and get him to cut it in half. I walk furiously out to my vehicle and inspect their work before I leave just in case. Good thing I did because there was a giant black smudge on my tan back seat. A glob of some sort of grease or something on the front drivers seat all of the door molding was covered in footprints and dirt, every one of the door panels had drip marks all the way down all of them. I marched back in there demanding they clean it and they gave me attitude in return. I did not leave until they did clean it, which was still done half ass. He kept saying there was no way he did this but none of that was there when I dropped the car off (this was a new car with temp tags still on it). They are the most unprofessional shop I have ever been to. You would think its part of the auto shop but really it is just a random cube in the back of the building with 1 bay door. Inside the pathetic shop is 1 shelf and a computer desk in the corner. On the shelf were boxes of the cheap tint you can buy yourself up at auto zone or any other auto shop, NOT the high quality tint they claim to use. They should be ashamed to even call themselves a business. read more

I picked Mogo from yelp reviews and I was not let down. I needed to get repairs on my mom's car because it didn't pass emissions. The owner showed me where the problem was and gave a very fair price on the repair. Because the car sits for long periods, I was having to charge the battery to get it started. Mogo tested the battery, called the auto parts store, verified it was under warranty and had it replaced for me at no charge. I received excellent service and saved so much compared to dealer service prices. read more

Started out the week with a nail in my tire while on my commute. Since I tend to freak out about getting a flat on the highway, figured I better get it fixed fast. Stopped into the national chain by Crocker Park (since that's where I was when I noticed the nail) and was told to wait 2 hours - so I got on google maps and gave these guys a call. Not only did they take me right away, they explained why a patch wouldn't work. There goes my entire morning (or so I thought), they replaced my tire with a new one. Since I was doing highway driving they rotated my rear tire up front and put the new tire on the back for a smoother ride. What I thought was going to be a pain in the neck turned out to take less than 45 minutes and was done for a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to bring my car in for service to them in the future - the service was awesome and beat the heck out of the bigger chains. read more

My 1999 Ford Taurus that was given to me from my mother in-law in Florida had no heat which in Northeast Ohio is a big problem with our winters. Called up Mogo based on a Google search and online reviews for being an honest and good service shop. They diagnosed it as a clogged heater core and unclogged, flushed twice, and replaced with brand new coolant. Blows heat like a champ. Saved me a ton of money by not having to replace the heater core. Will definitely be bringing my car back here for service again. Thanks George and team! read more

Don't go to this place... I had my front axle replaced last year and started to have the same symptoms as before, just recently. I changed my oil about a week after I noticed the issues coming back and saw the axle was shifted and loose. I took my vehicle back to MOGO and George was very adamant that there was ANYTHING wrong with the VISIBLY LOOSE and already RUSTED axle. I asked for quotes on what his 'CERTIFIED MASTER MECHANIC' believed was wrong. I was charged for a FULL INSPECTION of my front end. The owner George took it upon himself, WITHOUT permission, to take my two front tires to a nearby NTB, and got them balanced. He then CHARGED me for it AND the tip he gave the technician at NTB for a service he just got for free. Again... NO PERMISSION WAS GIVEN TO DO ANY WORK TO MY CAR. If THAT wasn't enough, I was still sure it was the axle causing the problem but George told me to take it to another shop and IF the OTHER shop said the axle was bad, THEN he'd TRY and do something about it. All I got was eye rolls, attitudes and spoken to like I was garbage. I gave up and I took it to Automotive Specialty Services in Avon, Ohio. They told me the axle was improperly installed and was a BAD PART. They had taken it off and showed me how it was internally grinding and binding up which was causing my driving issues. And even though George charged me for a FULL FRONT END INSPECTION, he didn't tell me that anything else was wrong with my vehicle. But Specialty told me a handful of other things that needed addressed ASAP and showed me everything they had found. At this point I don't trust anything George has done to my car or what he said was supposedly wrong with it. He hasn't refunded me for his mechanic's botched work that was done on my car. His mechanics obviously don't know what they are doing, he is obviously scamming and cheating people out of their money and doesn't care about you or your vehicle after he's able to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Now I have a $1500 credit card bill to pay off because of this terrible situation. DON'T GO HERE. read more

I would not recommend taking your car here. The business is run by a man named George. He has owned it for many years. He is friendly enough, but he doesn't care about keeping repeat customers. After spending many thousands of dollars there on the repair of three separate cars over many years, I had one of my cars there for a repair. After keeping it a few days, he told me they did not know what was wrong with the motor, even with it running and that I owed him $200 for the review, He didn't know what was wrong, but told me I should just sell the car to anyone who wanted it. I ended up paying him $200 for nothing. No work was done to the car and I was never provided with any value added. The car was repaired elsewhere. I should never have trusted George. My long term business relationship with him meant nothing. I do not expect to ever again bring a car to Mogo for repair work. read more

Never saw any company work so hard to lose a customer. Tried to use a local groupon style deal for an oil change. After waiting 3 days for an appointment (for an oil change!) I was finally allowed to bring my vehicle in. By the time they were finished adding all their extra charges my $15 deal was $28. The normal charge for an oil change was $39 When I asked them if they would have charged me an extra $13 if I wasn't using a coupon (for an unbelievable $52) they told me I was using a special oil. Apparently 5w20 is now a rare oil type. Rude and insulting. Will never return. read more
