Ryan is great! I needed 4 tires. They only had 2 of the 4 in stock as the front and back are different sizes. He was able to order them and get me a next day appointment. Takes about 45 minutes or so to replace all four. I have used Discount Tire in other states too. Good quality and consistent service. Super nice Ryan noticed my military license plates. They offer 5% Discount for active military members or veterans. There's plenty of seating to wait. Also plenty of plug in outlets if you need to charge a device. Ryan's customer service is top notch. Amazing guys!! My little brother is in a wheelchair and requires the use of a lift in our van, tires needed balance and rotation and after being turned away by 3 other tire stores (including the company that originally installed the tires) the manager personally to care of it for us and what's even better he waved the fee, to a family with a special needs child this guy was a gods sent, really saved the day. Love these guys. Good prices on the tires, not always the cheapest, which you can find off brand for less. But seriously folks, when you drop $$500+ for a set, a few extra bucks is well worth it. The service is quick efficient and knowledgeable. Discount does tires and rims, and they do it well. Tons of locations for when you travel and get the ever convenient flat. I just want to update this review one last time as my tire was fixed by Conrad's. I took it there and told them what Discount Tire in Avon told me and they were shocked. Their question was, how can they recommend new rims without doing a proper inspection? Conrad's cleaned the rim and sealed the tire to the rim. Never said I need new rims. Discount tire's tech looked at the rim for 20 seconds and said "you need new rims". I do not like being treated like a fool. I'll never go there again. Had a slow leak in a tire. My wife took the car in and was treated really well. Had a screw in the tire. It was fixed and tires rotated at no charge. For what they did, I wanted to pay them. They push selling the tire warranty saying the tire is covered for a 100% replacement for any damage. Then when my tire became damaged they refused to replace it saying they only replace tires when they cannot repair it. Who knows if their tire repair is safe. The extra tire warranty is a scam. Stephen and Scotty were very helpful and professional al when addressing a tire issue I had on my Mini. This is a smart, clean and friendly establishment. They made an appointment day of and had me in and out in the matter of an hour. It was fun to see they front men kindly address every customer, while their technicians flipped, switched, rotated, patched and got happy customers back on the road behind the glass. Today 2/3/24, after a total fiasco at BJs Tire Center in Avon (basically they didn't tell me ahead of my appointment that they didn't have my tires in stock so I wasted my time driving all the way out there and in addition to that, trying to get a refund was like rocket science as the customer service reps there had no idea what they were doing), I headed to Discount Tire a few miles away. The tires I needed was at another one of their locations, but they were able to get all four of them delivered in about 2 hours. Then it was about another half hour for them to get the tires installed. The customer service was impeccable, they let me know exactly what to expect and assured me that the tires would be installed same day. They even give you a link to track the progress of your tire installation. I got there early and actually watched as two young men worked quickly to get my tires installed. There were at least 5 other techs there in the shop and they were all hustling and working hard getting cars in and out. The reps at the counter were awesome. Yes, I paid about what BJs was going to upcharge me (while the tires I ordered supposedly wasn't in stock, of course BJs had more expensive ones available that would cost me $150 more), but for the customer service, tracking link, quality tires and protection plan - it was all worth it. Discount Tire (Avon) is an amazing, state-of-the-art place to get new tires! The employees are very professional, competent, friendly, and knowledgeable, and their online selection is impressive. This was my first time there, and won't be my last. I purchased new General G-MAX AS-05 ultra high performance all-season tires for my GTI on their website in the morning, and had them installed the very same day, in under 45 minutes! The price, including installation, was less than several other tire places I checked out in the Cleveland area, so that was a consideration as well. THIS is the way a business should be run, so major kudos all around to Discount Tire. Great job guys! read more

I was in the Avon location just recently for a tire repair / replacement situation and was very happy to see them cover one ruined tire that was under warranty and put a temporary tire on my car while I wait for two new tires to come in. I have had a good experience every time I've been in for repairs, balancing, etc, whatever the situation has been. I was amazed at everything at this place! First of all, I made an appointment for a tire repair. When I got there, I did not wait one minute. They took my car right in, fixed the wheel cover and leak on my tire, and they did all that work as a courtesy for free! The sales person who waited on me was kind, courteous and thoroughly explained everything. They even bring your car around right to the door next to the waiting area. What service! In addition, the waiting room was clean and spacious and stocked with free drinks and snacks for their customers. My little girl ate a granola bar and played at the kids table. After driving for 6 hours I got a flat. Fortunately but sometimes unfortunately I have run flats. I was towed to this store just before they closed. (Didn't want to chance driving so slow on the interstate). Gene was very helpful and understanding. Stores don't always carry run flats (that's the unfortunate part) and I was so happy they had one. He verified it was the correct one and within 15 minutes I was back in the road for the rest of my 2 hour drive. read more

I went to Discount Tire to have a tire repaired. While there I was told I need new tires by spring and my tires were in dire need of being changed- I have a brand new car. I contacted and went to the dealer only to be told that's false and prove to me by showing me the measurements on my tires. When contacting discount tire I was passed around from manager to manager and eventually talked to the man who helped me- I will refrain from adding his name. I asked him why he said this and said I'd I drove 25k miles from NOW until spring I would need new tires. I told him that's very misleading from saying I need new tires now and that being lied to lead to me wasting my day driving an hour and back to my dealer ship- might I add I took the day off to do so. He literally responded to me with, "what do you want me to do?" They are most definitely attempting to get the most out of each person- which I understand as a business it is their job to make money- but they do so by lying and taking advantage of people like myself who clearly know nothing about cars. I will never go back there, nor will my family and friends who have been loyal customers. We're now all wondering just how much and to what extent we have been lied to by them. Save yourself time and get tires through Costco or literally anywhere else besides this place- who knows if they're telling the truth or not. read more

My tire was losing air constantly so I took my truck in to get the tire looked at. The staff was very professional and the service was great. The tech that looked at my fire came out and told me they popped the tire off the rim and inspected it, resealed it, and put a new valve stem on it, for no charge.
