That sounds like it should considered a recall. I reached out to my local Ford dealership to ask about financial assistance through Ford's "Goodwill Assistance" program. My vehicle meets the program's general eligibility criteria--it's under 100,000 miles and less than seven years old. However, I was quoted $9,492.50 for the repair. Without any financial assistance, a repair of that cost is simply out of reach for many people with a median income. At just 94,000 miles and six years old, I never expected to be without a working vehicle due to a major transmission failure. It's incredibly disappointing, especially after learning how many other owners have experienced similar problems. Because of this experience, I've made the decision that my next vehicle will not be a Ford. That decision isn't one I make lightly. I grew up in a Ford family. I've owned and driven Ford vehicles my entire life because I trusted the brand and believed in the quality of its products. I had genuine brand loyalty. Took my car in to have an exhaust repair which they did very quickly and to my satisfaction…read more In addition to the exhaust repair I supplied them with four rubber brake hoses to change. A couple days after I got the vehicle back I decided to take a peek underneath and see what all had been done. Both rear brake line rubber hose clips that mount to the frame we're missing so the hoses were just hanging off the steel brake lines. The brake hose on the driver's rear wheel was routed so that it was rubbing on the wheel which damaged the brand new brake line in 2 places. I will be taking the car back to them next week to be properly repaired and safe for me to use. This should have never happened. Hopefully they will take care of the repair very quickly. Took car back this week with 4 new clips I purchased. I was assured the damaged and missing brake line retaining clips would be installed on the car as required. The zip tie they installed on the driver front brake would be replaced with the proper retaining clip. 1st set of photos how the car was fixed the 1st time. Bent and missing the retaining clips. The 2nd time they did replace the 2 missing clips from the rear brake lines. They replaced the missing clip and removed the zip tie from the driver front brake. The last photo shows the broken clip still on the passenger front brake after the 2nd repair yesterday. I supplied them with 4 new clips. I don't know what they did with this one. I was assured yesterday that everything was fixed properly. Left them a text message yesterday with photos to find out what is going on after a 2nd repair because the 1st was not done properly or safely. In my case they performed improper and unsafe work. This is not acceptable. The rear brakes would have failed in only a few days after the wheel had rubbed through the brake line possibly causing me to have an accident.

Oil change manger was nice, older gentleman missing a tooth was doing my oil change. He drops the dip stick in the hood, instead of trying to find or telling someone he went to work on the next car. Once the younger gentleman came to my car he asked where was my dip stick then he says it fell inside. So he goes under the car start unscrewing the plastic under the body. He couldn't get it, now he's unscrewing the plastic from under the hood. He's under the hood moving and pulling trying to get the dip stick. All on a nut shell my car making a noise now that it wasn't before and I left messages with no call back. Today is Wednesday, I call and talk to a guy by the name of John, very rude guy I can't and I won't drop my car off there because I work 12 hr shifts mon-fri. He said it nothing they can do unless I drop it off and if it was even caused by them‍‍‍ Yes it's definitely something y'all can do pay for my diagnostic test and we can take it from there.
