I did NOT need a new tire and to fix my issue was $27. That was 2 weeks ago. This week I had a similar problem...a different tire was completely flat. Friends pumped my tire enough that I was able to get to Van's and again, they patched/fixed my tire:$27. They couldn't estimate how long it would take for them to get to my vehicle and offered to take me home and pick me up when it was ready. THAT my friends is service. Now before anyone suggests otherwise...in 50 years of driving I ever had a flat tire . When I signed the papers for both my financing and insurance I opted out for roadside assistance and extended warranty to save a few $$$. Just go to Van's!

Shortly after one of the tires was losing air. Under the Tire Protection Plan I returned to Van's. I was told upon inspection a nail or screw was found and the tire was patched. The tire continued to lose air. I returned to Van's. I was told nothing was wrong with the tire and the rim was cleaned and I was sent on my way. The tire continued to lose air. I returned to Van's. This time I was told the tire valve was leaking. The valve was replaced. The tire continued to lose air. For the third time I returned to Van's extremely frustrated. I asked them to please take the tire off the rim and totally inspect the tire. I left and the tire continued to lose air. After four visits with the same tire losing air; I was beyond frustrated. I called and asked per the Tire Protection Plan for the tire to be replaced. I told Miguel that if I returned to Van's I would not leave without a new tire. He would not promise me a new tire. He wanted to inspect the tire for the fifth time and attempt to fix it. I went to Discount Tire in Parma Heights to have the tire replaced. I would encourage anyone reading this review to avoid doing business with Van's.

My kid went to Zeppetella's within an hours notice of calling the shop, Tony ran a diagnostic, fixed what needed adjusting, and then actually walked my son through a few of the fixes he could do by himself. Having a dicey past with mechanics, mostly due my ignorance and lack of time to research in an emergency, I am so grateful that there are righteous mechanics and shops around that are experts at what they do, honest about the diagnosis, and willing to show an interested kid some tips on how to fix their own car.
