These folks were the absolute best! My husband and I drove from Los Angeles to Cleveland to visit family. On our last night in town, someone stole the catalytic converter from our van (as well as the oxygen intake sensor) white it was parked in the hotel lot. We originally took the van to a Firestone location and they quoted us upwards of $1500 and told us they'd need to replace our entire exhaust system. Luckily, a friend recommended this place instead! We dropped it off (with no appointment) on Monday morning, and in 2 hours they had welded a replacement converter and sensor onto the van. We left later that day for our 36-hour drive back home and the van ran beautifully the entire time. Total cost: $280!! This place truly saved us. The staff couldn't have been kinder! My exhaust was cracked (flex pipe rusted) and after multiple shops told me they had to replace the whole thing for almost 1,000 dollars, I brought it here and they repaired the flex pipe on the spot for a FRACTION of that price. Naturally I was worried that a low price would mean poor craftsmanship, but the car sounds brand new. There was no wait, they brought me out to my car to show me the problem, they didn't talk down to me while explaining the problem. Fast and froendly. Made an appt on Saturday at 8 for a leaking flex pipe. Local shop had quoted me over $1000. They showed me the leak and advised I had a lnother very slight leak around the muffler but it wasn't pressing. Decided to have the flex pipe and muffler replaced. They gave me options and I went with a generic muffler to save money. They advised it would have one tip rather than two. Do I care? Cost me less than 1/4 of what my local shop quoted me! read more

Not sure why I didn't find this place sooner!!! Honest, kind and very efficient!!! Was given a total re-do quote on my 2007 Sonata...resonator on back...$632! Well..I thought that seemed high as well as a lot since the problem started suddenly. I was told by several people to check Mufflers For Less and see what they thought. Not only did I get a fast appointment, when they called they said it only needed a flange part that had rusted off! Cost..$79 plus tax! WOW! Big difference from the other guys quote! Great place, great staff, great price, very little wait. Mr. Tire quoted me at around $600 to replace my whole exhaust/muffler system, so I looked for a second opinion. I scheduled a 3:00pm appointment, and my car was ready by 3:40pm. They only charged me $64 to patch up the exhaust pipes, and even allowed me to go in their shop to teach me a few things about the problem. The good news is that the place is fairly clean, the guys wear uniforms and look decent. They got me in quickly. They are friendly and relatively quick. Lots of positives. The challenge with Mufflers for Less is part longevity. They replaced my flex pipe two years ago and I just had it done a second time. Their warranty is for one year so if you are expecting their replacement parts to last as long as the original parts then you will be disappointed. In conclusion, if you are looking for an exhaust system, at a lower price, that will last a couple of years then Mufflers For Less is a great economical choice. read more

I have been driving my Jeep around now for months with no muffler. I was on my way to a run one day when all of a sudden I heard a grinding noise that would occasionally shake the vehicle. I got referred to MFL by a mechanic who was too busy to fix my car. It was the best referral I've ever gotten. Mufflers For Less was a drive for me but well worth it. Its best to make an appointment ahead of time. They were very professional and even took me to the back to show me what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. They even give a warranty on their work!! One of the professionals there recommended I bring my vehicle back for brakes in the front. I'm going back tomorrow to get the brakes done and it feels good to know that I can trust Mufflers For Less to do an awesome job. Not to mention they were very reasonably priced. Terrible quality. Installed full exhaust system per recommendation. It all started rotting out after 1 year. Took it back and they told me that was normal. Just out of 2 years the muffler totally rotted out. The owner said that mufflers only last for three years. It cost me another $80 for repair.
