Visited All Star Muffler just last week ... they were able to squeeze me in the afternoon after I spoke to them after 2pm... the service manager Dave was very friendly polite and upfront with what was wrong and how they proposed to repair my exhaust system by actually showing me the problems while the car was up on the lift... something none of the other 3 shops did... instead of saying that the whole exhaust system was rotted out and needed replacing from the exhaust header back for $3k+... he replaced a down tube to the original Catalytic Converter and another connector to the rear convertor with 2 hangars for $248.. all with a 2 year warranty... Highly Recommended 5 stars!!! read more

Although my last visit to them was awhile ago it was a great relief that I didn't need a whole new exhaust. They just needed a flex pipe and a rusting pipe clamp that was causing the loud rumble. He showed me what was needed while car was up on lift. I was greatly relieved as the cost didn't break the bank and the wait was worth it. A+ in my book. read more

The resonator on my truck split. It was getting louder by the day. I called around the local Muffler shops. Most wanted $100.00-160.00 to replace it or delete it. I called Allstar. 49.99 to delete it and put a pipe it place of it. Like I said other shops wanted 100-160. Dave got me in that afternoon. I was there maybe 45 mins and it was done. Great fast job! read more

Called and stopped in from out of town with a bad exhaust leak (very loud and fumes in cab) They were very busy and were able to get me fixed up very fast for the amount of work needed and having to order the parts. Chris is very knowledgeable about the work they do and explains everything, Problems, options and offered up front pricing for my needs. The mechanics were also very professional. You all at Allstar are amazing and I want to thank you for doing great work. Highly recommend and I will be back I'm sure read more

My friends shop recommended All Star and definitely a great recommendation. A+ Service. No other shop wanted to touch our car since it's 70 years old. Ted and his team dove right in, showed me exactly what was wrong and what they would do to fix it. They replaced the whole exhaust system in 3hrs. Excellent place. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back in the future read more

Found this place by searching for exhaust repair shops. The 5 star reviews aren't lying. They are quick, honest and have low, fair prices. Dealership wanted to charge me $2000 for something they fixed for $230 and it took them nearly 1.5 hours with a full waiting room. If you're on the fence - take your car here. read more

Received excellent service in a timely manner. Explained what was wrong with my exhaust, and replaced the part in 40 minutes, at a price that was fair. Couldnt ask for more. Highly recommend. read more

I have never been here before. I took my partners 2006 Nissan Altima in to get checked out. The exhaust system had numerous leaks and rust. Chris showed me in detail everything that needed done. Fair pricing and fast service. However, to be honest, whatever muffler and resonator they used, didn't make my vehicle very quiet. It's okay at idle, but still loud when accelerating. Other than that, was satisfied. read more

Always honest and super nice and very informative. Prices are reasonable. On one occasion something was a little messed up and they fixed it right away without an attitude. I highly recommend read more

This place is great. I have been coming here for about 17 years, and have brought every car ive had, my girlfriend's car, parents cars friends cars, and they always take care of it. Dave with the blackbeard has taken care of my car for at least half of those years. They are fair, they will take you back to your car and show you exactly whats going on, no bullshit, no bait and switch, and they will give you all your options. I have strayed from them a couple time and went to other shops, and every time I have regretted it. Get there early. They open at 9. Early means get there at 8 at the LEAST. Its first come first serve, and they get full fast. You can drop off your car, or wait with it. They also do brakes and suspension. read more

I couldn't believe when my 89 year young Dad said he was on W. 130 having his muffler fixed at some shop he saw as he drove by...I was concerned. But these guys are awesome, fixed an issue for $172 that I am sure any other muffler shop would have been $600-700 with an upsell! Great job guys - keep it up! read more

Wow... So, the other day (and this would have to happen after a difficult day, making it MORE difficult,) I was on my way home when my car started sounding like a rocket ship. My old Toyota (edging up on 200,000 miles, yep, I drive em hard,) had a blow out in the connecting pipe between the muffler and converter. Previously, I'd had folks tell me I needed a whole new muffler system, and I'm not rich, so the 1200 to 1500 they were quoting me was just too much. I was sort of desperate, and asked around. After talking to my Brother-In-law and doing some research online, I found All Star Discount Muffler... And was amazed... All Star is located just off of W.130th in an unassuming neighborhood. Now, when I headed out there I was told; GET THERE EARLY. They only do things by first come, first serve. No reservations. Why? They're that FREAKING BUSY!! (and that freaking GOOD.) They opened the gates at 8:30 AM, and as I and two more vehicles drove in...so did a dozen more. People from all over bring their cars in JUST BY WORD OF MOUTH, and the mix of people, from housewives to businessmen to even other mechanics shows how trusted these folks are. The place is no-frills; there's some benches in the main office area, and you can wait or come back, but I'll tell you, you don't have to wait long. The staff like Dave and Amy are thoughtful, efficient and what I like about it is that Dave took me under my vehicle and showed me what they were going to do and then quoted me a price. I didn't need a whole system; I needed a pipe between the converter and the muffler, which was still quite good and didn't need replacing. That was it. With parts and labor folks; 40$ and in and out in about 40 minutes. Again, this is no frills, but they will NOT GYP YOU! I saw testimonials here, on other review sites, and there were a dozen or more on a peg board in the office written on business cards, stationary and formal letterhead. People are thankful for great service and a good deal. (Heck, while I was there, two guys from OTHER AUTO PLACES brought cars in to be repaired because they couldn't. :) Also, all of their work carries guarantees as long as you keep your receipts, and I've heard they honor the work they do. So, if you want to be treated well, and get All Star prices, try All Star Discount Muffler for your brake, shock, and exhaust needs; you're wallet and your car will thank you:) read more

Not only is this my go-to place for muffler work, I have also had my brakes done here, as well as a tire rod. I went to the old Chevy dealer in N. Olmsted and they told me I needed a whole new exhaust ($700), went here and they replaced my muffler for $50. Since then I have been a loyal customer, recommending all I can to them to save money. Be there before they open in the AM. so your car will be first to get worked on. You should have your car back in a few hours. By far, the most affordable (down right cheap) muffler work in the city. And, NO ladies, this place will tell you the truth about what is wrong with your car (if your completely clueless, like me). Great job All Star! read more

So my exhaust all but fell off my car last Monday. This place takes no reservations and most people wait in the lot or the waiting room while they repair your car. The service was fast, the wait was reasonable, and the price was right. Everybody I know that knows anything about cars told me that this is the place to go. Everything was given a warranty and I left happy. I don't know if they do much else but if you need work done on your car's exhaust this is the place to go. read more

If you need a simple exhaust or muffler fix, they got it here for cheap. For the low so to speak. If you need a repair that requires extensive labor requiring the engine to be removed or if the exhaust leak is close to the manifold, they will not be able to do it. You cannot make an appointment and need to wait in the waiting room. It reminds me of The Walking Dead. Pretty weird but life is weird. read more

I have a Late model Chevy Tahoe, I needed a custom Dual Exhaust which I was quoted as much as $550 from other shops... I have paid upwards of $400 on other custom exhausts for my previous vehicles. (not done at Allstar) I received this custom dual exhaust from the catalytic converter back for only $200!!!! ( I had my own flowmaster muffler I purchased from Summit Racing) The welds are clean, hangers fitted in the "right" places, 2 yr warranty (since its custom), good communication and customer service. Best Quality Best Price Hands down! Only downside is they left a door open while they did the exhaust which killed my battery, they were quick to give me a jump and it charged back up with no problems...Hey no ones perfect, and I understand that Sh** happens!! no harm no folly!! read more

I called All Star based on very positive reviews on Angie's list. I had taken my car to another mechanic, and was quoted nearly $2k for a new exhaust system. I called and spoke with Dave at All Star, and based on what I could tell him over the phone, he quoted me a 'worst case scenario' price, that was less than 1/3 the cost of the other place. I dropped my car off on a Monday around 5:30pm. They assured me that my car would be pulled into their garage at night, and that they would call in the morning with an estimate. Dave requoted me the same 'worst case scenario' on site. Dave called me Tuesday morning, and let me know that it was, in fact, the worst case (which I had figured). I picked my car up that evening and paid not a penny more than the original quote. Outstanding warrantee, fantastic price, and honest people. Couldn't be happier! read more
