Unfortunately,…read moreduring the oil change they did an inspection and reported a $4,000+ quote for "immediate" maintenance issues and urged me to set up a follow up appointment within the month. My car wasn't showing any signs while driving and my family's mechanic of over 20 years also found it a little sketchy. When signs of brake issues did arise 6 months later, I took it to Firestone on Prospect Ave who fixed it for a quarter of the price and I've had no issues since. Maybe Terry's was being truthful about the issues, but if so, it felt way overcharged and pressured to get it fixed sooner than necessary.

Took my car in to have an exhaust repair which they did very quickly and to my satisfaction…read more In addition to the exhaust repair I supplied them with four rubber brake hoses to change. A couple days after I got the vehicle back I decided to take a peek underneath and see what all had been done. Both rear brake line rubber hose clips that mount to the frame we're missing so the hoses were just hanging off the steel brake lines. The brake hose on the driver's rear wheel was routed so that it was rubbing on the wheel which damaged the brand new brake line in 2 places. I will be taking the car back to them next week to be properly repaired and safe for me to use. This should have never happened. Hopefully they will take care of the repair very quickly. Took car back this week with 4 new clips I purchased. I was assured the damaged and missing brake line retaining clips would be installed on the car as required. The zip tie they installed on the driver front brake would be replaced with the proper retaining clip. 1st set of photos how the car was fixed the 1st time. Bent and missing the retaining clips. The 2nd time they did replace the 2 missing clips from the rear brake lines. They replaced the missing clip and removed the zip tie from the driver front brake. The last photo shows the broken clip still on the passenger front brake after the 2nd repair yesterday. I supplied them with 4 new clips. I don't know what they did with this one. I was assured yesterday that everything was fixed properly. Left them a text message yesterday with photos to find out what is going on after a 2nd repair because the 1st was not done properly or safely. In my case they performed improper and unsafe work. This is not acceptable. The rear brakes would have failed in only a few days after the wheel had rubbed through the brake line possibly causing me to have an accident.

Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same issue I came in with. Have decided for myself they're not worth the cost. Just average service all around - poor pictures of the problem, diagnostic fee was not removed on final bill plus extra shop charges, poor communication about how long the job would take (just tell me straight). They do work hard though, got the job done inside of two days. I guess when you're as busy as they are, you don't have to satisfy everybody. I took my vehicle in to Stop because my check engine light came on and it was the thermostat. Tim told me that it would $450 plus tax and it would be about two days. I drove my car to the shop with only the engine light on. Tim had my car for over a week. After he fixed the thermostat every light on the dash was on and my car was non drivable. He said the engine was in default and he didn't know what was wrong and I should take it to the dealer. Tim damaged the fuel injector, and this cost me $1851.00 plus we had to get a rental car. I gave Tim the opportunity to fix this and he got nasty and told me to take him to court. Under no circumstances should a customer drive into a repair shop and then have to get their car towed out with no explanation as to what the problem was. This repair was clearly out of his league. The Cadillac Dealer called within an hour and told me what it was. He wasn't even competent enough as a mechanic find out why all the lights on the dash were on. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TO one stop auto because I ending up making TWO STOPS and the second one cost me $1851 dollars. Now he will write a rebuttal, make a bunch of excuses, and try to spin it instead of taking accountability. Lets see how he spins this.
