So I had an engine problem that they agreed to repair. After they got into it they told me my engine was shot and they wanted to swap it out. I told them just to make the repairs. Then they told me my catalytic converter was shot and even had a picture. I told them just to make the repairs. When I picked up the car I had an engine light on and they said they couldn't fix it because I didn't replace the engine and replacing a dirty sensor in the exhaust wouldn't make a difference. I went to Autozone and they said it was an intake sensor problem and I fixed it myself. It's been running fine for years now. If you want to see what a C- rating company looks like then feel free to look these guys up on the BBB website. Do yourselves a favor and find a reputable company through the BBB website, I honestly just don't trust these people and their business practices, they're sketchy at best and just not worth the few dollars you might save. When the repair is too complex they just seem to start guessing and replacing parts instead of demonstrating the ability to diagnose. And get your repairs in writing! Search for "Zupan v. Had to have the alternator and battery replaced last year, and the van died while out of state 11 months later. Had to have it towed to the out of state dealership and it was the alternator and battery. I took my car to this body shop upon recommendation of a woman who damaged my car. I was trying to do the right thing by not filing an auto insurance claim against the woman. She claimed she was on disability, and that this shop would let her make payments. I assume that she had a friend that worked there or owned the place, so I thought I would be reasonable, and just work it out between the two of us. I took my car to the shop and got a quote of $150 to replace the sideview mirror, and the manager said that the other party had made an agreement to pay for it. I then made arrangements to bring my car back the next day to have the work done. As I was driving to the shop to get my car fixed they called me and asked if I was coming in. I said I would be there in two minutes. The gentleman on the phone said "Oh well then I will wait until you get here." I'm not sure at this point what he's talking about. When I arrived at the shop and walked into the gentleman's office, he informed me that the woman was no longer going to pay for the work being done. He claimed that the woman responsible was just in there with her lawyer, and that they were telling him that they would not pay for the work. I'm not sure why the woman didn't call me herself, but I wondered why this body shop was inserting it self into the process. The whole thing felt shady, but I thought OK I'll ask if I can just buy the part from him and put it on myself. I asked him how much the mirror would cost if he would sell it to me. "Same price," he said. "$150?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied. "The same price as it is to install it?" "Yeah," he replied. I priced the mirror out, which PCS told me would be used the day before when they did the estimate, at $50 at a nearby autoparts store. Needless to say, I left. When a body shop plays games like this, it's a matter of trust, and I have none for PCS. read more

I have been using PCS for the last few years and there are pros and cons. The good: Their prices are great. An oil change is $15 and an oil change w/ tire rotation is $20. I can't remember exactly how much they charged for my brakes, but it was a great deal. Also, I once had to bring in my car because it fell of the jack when I was changing a flat and the heat shield bent in and was scraping the rotor and they bent it back for free. They are also right next to the Triskett Rapid Station, so you can drop off your car and hop on the train and then pick up your car after work. The bad: I have never had any major problems with them, but I am starting to suspect that their service is going downhill. For example, I brought in my wife's car for an oil change/tire rotation last a couple of months ago and we later discovered that they never did the rotation (she had a slow leak in her front passenger tire and after the rotation the same tire was in the same spot). There used to always be a bald guy w/ piercings and tattoos that seemed to be in charge and their decline in service may have to do with the fact that I never see him there anymore. read more

Bought 4 new tires from this place. Paid over 600$ for them, the next day I'm driving to Strongsville mall with 2 small children in the car and I hear this sound. Get out and realize they never tightened my lugnuts. Months later I go back for an oil change. Told them my oil light was on. Meanwhile it starts to rain so I call and ask them to close the sun roof of my truck, the owner says, " I'll see what i can do." wtf!! So needless to say the inside was damp when I picked it up. Of course I get the truck and the oil lights still on. Call up and the owner Juan gives me an attitude like it's my fault. I took the car in on 10/6/16. Explained that I had check engine light and something was wrong with the front end. The car seemed unstable on the road and I thought it would be best to have it checked out. I received a call later that day who said everything was "loose" and that the repair for check engine light and front end would be $1800. I said go ahead and do it. Picked it up the next day and it ran just as bad as it did when I brought it in. I thought maybe I just had a bad tire and would have it looked at the next day. PCS is closed on Saturday. On Saturday I took it into Sears to check the tire. After putting it on the lift they called me over to spin my rattling wheel and said I have a bad wheel bearing which would cost in the neighborhood of $300. On a side note they couldn't understand how it could have been missed with all of the other work that was done. It's obvious they did not test drive the car prior to performing any work. They also did not drive the car afterwards since it ran the same as when I brought it in. I do not see that they performed an alignment and did not tell me that I would need one. So, I will take the car in to Sears today to have the original wheel bearing problem fixed. I learned my lesson on this company. read more

So I'm 50/50 with these guys. Very reasonable prices and no non sense kind of attitude which I love! I've gotten a few oil changes here which were only 15 bucks. I got my brakes done which was 260 and I also got a tune up for 350. Now I'm a girl so I could be getting ripped off and not know a damn thing, but I feel like these are reasonable prices. Everything was good until I got my tune up. I drove it home and it stalled out multiple times. I called them and they told me to bring it back immediately. I did and one of the guys explained it was a vacuum that wasn't attached all the way and then they "fixed" it. This was about a year ago and my car still sputters and seems as if it's going to stall just like it did when I got the tune up. So I brought my car in to get the brakes fixed mentioned my problem to the owner and he said they'd take a look at it. When I picked my car up nothing about the hose/vacuum was mentioned and it was not fixed, to this day it still acts as if it's going to stall out. So like I said 50/50. I have been going to PCS for over 10 years and will not be going back. They used to be friendly and did quality work. That changed about a year or two ago. There was a guy there with tattoos and piercings (named Andrew or Aaron) that seemed to run things for the owner. He provided great customer service and went out of his way to make sure things got done right. One day he was gone and from that day on everything started went downhill. The owner took the reigns and he is very unfriendly and tends to be downright rude. We referred a friend to them who complained that she was quoted a price that was nowhere near what she ended up paying. To make things worse, the car was not properly fixed and it needed to be towed back to them within a couple of days. Then we had some engine work done, which was not done right. The owner basically blew us off, so we got it worked on somewhere else. Recently, my wife was involved in an accident and we had PCS do the repairs. We were giving them one last chance since they had a good track record in the past and we had not had a chance to find a new mechanic yet. To make a long story short, after bringing the car back to them twice, it is still not fixed right. When I tried bringing it back in to have it fixed properly, again, the owner blew up at me and told me that he doesn't need my business since I'm not his only customer. He also said that I would regret no longer being welcome at his business when he was the only mechanic left in the city, and I am forced to go to the dealer. This guy is dishonest. He acknowledged the problem to me, then denied that there was a problem when the insurance company contacted them to properly fix the vechicle. I will never step foot in PCS again, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering going to them to go somewhere else. read more

I took my Moms Dodge Caravan up here and had them replace the strut tower, which was rusted so much that the strut was wedged into the heat shied and was cracking the windshield. I was driving the thing for work every night, scariest time of my life. They replaced the tower with a kit that you rivet in and such. But went farther and welded additional pieces as needed. Basically a completely new strut tower. Very nice, I felt secure at last. The few times I've been here have worked out great. Their estimates are very affordable and the work is top notch. read more

I had my fuel pump replaced in December, 2010. Most manufacturers carry a 1-year warranty on their parts. I called PCS to get a copy of my receipt and the owner I spoke to was extremely rude and told me to "suck a dick bitch". I also found out that they replaced it with a USED part, and I paid for a new one. That was the second time I took my vehicle to them, and the first time was bad but I gave them a second chance. Shame on me for ever going to them in the first place because I was warned, but the towing company they use only charges $35 so they make it seem like it's a real deal. Horrible doesn't even begin. Their work is not sub-par but DANGEROUS. Had my teenage sons mustang gt brakes fixed their. First they shot me $225, but than said he needed calipers. Ok, no problem, want my son safe. $351 later we pick up his car, seemed ok. I used the car a few days later while thankfully my son took mine to Cedar Point. Start hearing a loud "clunck" in front passenger side. Figured tie rod or ball joint. Took the car to another place close to where I was at and found out caliper replaced by PCS was never bolted in. Initially thought it was missing a bolt but when the whole thing came off in his hand realized it was never tightened. $351 and I sent my kid off with no brakes. Called Paul PCS owner and through his slurred speech and drunken stupor didn't get very far. So all I can say is getting your car fixed is not only costly but definitely DANGEROUS! read more

I have my vehicle told here to see what was wrong with it And not one time during the initial conversation he told me I was going to be charged any type of daily storage fees just to my vehicle being there. I told him I was going to Try to locate a engine from my vehicle and not one time did he mention anything about storage fees and next thing you know hes telling me I have to pay $40 per day from my vehicle from the day it was dropped off and when I asked him to get my personal belongings out of the vehicle he told me the storage fees have to be paid in order for me to get my personal items out of the vehicle. The first time I took my 2015 Cadillac there they did fish eye in the paint and paint dripping near the emblems .. so I called and told them , they said come back and get the car redone , the owner was good about it ... But I went back and the man was saying things like what did I expect for $200 dollars, but it was only the back hatch of my suv .. so I went to get my car and fisheye was mostly gone , but not all gone, and my emblems on my car were scratched like they did not bother to cover them and also in the wrong place , The guy at the other shop said they did not even clear coat it all the way ..I never want them to touch my car again ....so I threw away $200 dollars ...and have to order new emblems and it will cost $ 500 dollars to reverse what they did including a better paint job .
