Beware of NEGLIGENCE!!! I've been trying to resolve a warranty issue for work Mr. Tire completed on my car for almost a year, yet they want me to pay another mechanic/dealer to confirm the issue before they will fix it. Seems odd that I'd have to pay someone else to confirm the issue that was under warranty with them, nice way to leave a customer hanging... I should have learned when they let me leave there with only one lug nut on my tire and the rest of them all over the road Colorado/611. Beware and be careful. Glad I didn't DIE OR GET INTO AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE... 10/18/2022 UPDATE: after a request to call Mr. Tire, I spoke with customer service and they continue to tell me that I need to pay someone else, more competent I guess like a certified technician, to confirm the problem with my car- before they will honor their warranty. Called for appointment and the gentleman was very helpful and giving me information on the problem. When I brought the car in he showed me the problem with the rodders and brakes. They did it in reasonable time and did the extra mile for me. I will bring all my car work to them. read more

Fixed what needed fixing and did not try to sell other services other places typically do. Manager is a nice guy. Quick service. Only very small complaint is manager said he would call when parts/ car was ready but did not. I had to take the initiative. This doesn't take away from my review though or the services performed. 10/10 would recommend and will be a returning customer when my car needs servicing. I'm trying to give this as a neutral review. This place is just unprofessional. I called seven times to have a pair of tires quoted. Seven. Not only was the employee Continually distracted by other employees in the shop as he talked to me; he eventually gave me his cell phone so he could quote the tires. He continually had trouble quoting a simple set of tires for my vehicle. I gave him all the information he needed and he continually told me to call him back. At one point he quoted me installation for the wrong vehicle. I had to correct him. He would text me and then not pick up the phone when I Would call. It was kind of a really strange mess. Every time I spoke with him he promised he would get back to me with pricing and installation but never did. Obviously I'm going to buy from somebody else because there's no way on earth I'm going to drop my car off there. I'm not sure what's going on inside of the store but somebody with some leader ship and business acumen needs to help them. read more

My daughter and son-in-law are visiting from Chicago on Memorial Day. They got a flat that could easily be plugged. They were told, "we're the old shop open today so your getting a new tire". Then he proceeded to sell them a $200 tire when a cheaper tire would do. Bullshit about specs for the car. I used to work for Dealer Tire. I know it was BS. Like many others have indicated, poor customer service and upselling (gouging) is their M.O. Go to Discount Tire right up the street. DO NOT take your car here. Took my car in to get the tires mounted and balanced. All four rims were damaged during the process. The manager acknowledged the damage and made an appointment at a rim place who also confirmed the damage. Now they refuse to fix it. HORRIBLE customer service from the manager Jeff. Insinuated I was cheap because I took my car there. Had an attitude towards me during every interaction and refused to return phone calls. I went here this week to get my oil changed and mentioned that Firestone had previously told me I needed new tires the last time I got my oil changed. They were honest here and told me I definitely don't need new tires yet. I really appreciated the honesty instead of just trying to up sale me and get me to spend a grand on new tires I don't even need. Will be back without a doubt! read more

I didn't realize my tie rod needed replaced so I found myself here late in the day with no warning after my tire went flat from the damage. I have AWD so I needed to replace all 4 tires. I left the truck overnight and they replaced tires, and fixed the tie rod by noon the next day. Communication was great as they updated me twice on the progress. They even honored a deal that I misunderstood. I felt the price was fair and they did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. I plan on sticking with them for oil changes($20) and free tire rotation. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Had tires installed on 2 cars, and Mr Tire mixed them up so that each car had 2 different sizes. This resulted in thousands of dollars in damage. This is the most shady unorganized unprofessional place I've ever been to. Negotiating prices and trying to make cash only deals. Told to bring my truck in early and it would be done that day. Called twice and told it will be done at 6pm. Got there and they tried giving me the wrong truck while mine was where I parked it and hadn't been touched. Told them to forget it and left. Daughter in law took her Jeep there for estimate. When she said she was not gonna let them do the work , they said they took parts off and now her Jeep is not running. They scammed her! And the corporate office is terrible! They did tell them to put new parts on they took off only because they felt obligated after they said spark plugs and coil broke, I'm not sure why they even took them off? Well we really know why that was there way of taking advantage of 21 yr old girl. This has got to be the worst mechanic shop I've ever been to...I took my car in for the easiest most simple fix ever, got way over charged, then got my car returned to me with several issues. They had me bring my car back multiple times and still could not figure out their mistake so instead they just blamed me for it. They refuse to refund or fix the issue so I will be taking my car to other mechanics to see what they did to my car. I took my Audi there on the spur of the moment. It had issues with the lights. They told me they would take a quick look between appointments. Luckily, their top-notch electrical guy was there. He took a look and then worked on the car for about 90 minutes, but he figured out the problem wasn't bulbs, ordered a part so the brake lights worked again and fixed a minor secondary problem at no cost. I'm heading back for a new wheel and to replace another turn-signal switch. These guys are good...it's worth the drive from my place downtown Cleveland. read more

I only gave one star because I had to! I am not one to be snarky and post bad reviews just because I didn't get my way , but what Mr. Tire did to me is just wrong!!! I only took my car here because I purchased a warranty on my vehicle that is administred by Silverrock and Mr. Tire was the closet in Network repair shop. This past Monday 11/26 as I was on my way to work I got on the freeway and as soon as I tried to accelerate past 50 I noticed the car was running at high rpms and thick white smoke was coming from the exhaust the car wasn't running hot so I was confused. I drove to Mr. Tire and left so they can diagnosis the issue to see what was wrong and see if it was covered under the warranty. I dropped my vehicle off at 9am and didn't hear anything until around 3pm when they called they said it's the turbocharger and that because they had spent so much time on the diagnostic test SilverRock wanted them to get my permission because if it wasn't covered I would be responsible for the labor. I said yes even though I thought it was strange that a diagnostic test was taking so long. I have a 2015 vehicle and diagnostic tests are all done by computer. In order for Silverrock to process a claim you have to submit maintenance receipts i.e oil change receipts which I knew I only hand one and it was in my glove compartment so I went in and saw that my vehicle was stripped at this point!!! I mean they even had a tire off my car!!! For anyone who doesn't know the turbo charger is part of the engine. So there was absolutely no reason for a tire to be off my car. I'm a worrier so I went and found the pamphlet for the warranty I purchased to see if the turbo charger was covered of course it wasn't so I know a mechanic and I called Tuesday and asked how much they would charge me because I just read the part wasn't covered. Jeff or Mark I spoke to both said it would be$3200. I knew at that point I would go with my mechanic. I then asked how much did I owe for the diagnostic test because I am coming to get my car. That's when I was told oh well you can't come get it it's completely apart. Mind you I drove my car there and never authorized any repairs!!!! I said that's fine how much to get it I will have it towed. Jeff then said oh just wait it out Silverrock hasn't made a decision yet. I then advised him I use to do warranty claims I knew the game. Jeff then advised me that it would cost me $450!! To get my non- operable vehicle that I drove in . I called corporate and spoke to Christina. I explained the issue and she said give her a minute to make some calls and she called me back and said they would only charge a whopping$282.50 so I could get my vehicle back that they took apart. I paid just so I could get my car. My mechanic towed the car and told me they had unscrewed my windshield wipers and that nuts and bolts were missing. In conclusion I don't know about Mr.Tire as a whole but this location is horrible so DO NOT take your vehicle here. I don't know how they got 5 stars must've been friends and family because my experience was horrible. read more

I really needed new brakes to the point where the mechanic told me it was unsafe to drive my car for one more day. I wasn't able to leave it to be worked on the next day due to not having other arrangements. TJ said that he would do the brakes that night even though they were closing in less than an hour. He took my car back and began working while I went home. After a bit I returned to the store to see the progress and TJ let me know that they didn't have the correct brakes but that he ordered them and they were coming that night. Once they arrived TJ got right to work putting them on and in no time at all they were ready to go. I was very impressed by the customer service and that the manager would stay several hours past closing time to work on my car. TJ was very thorough and explained everything to me in terms that I would understand. I would recommend the Avon Mr. Tire to everyone! read more

They preformed oil change , while person is asking me if i wanted my tire fixed (from a leak) , I could see they pulling my truck out. My fault for not asking cost but said OK. Was told it would be a little "bit" .. My truck never moved 5 minutes later he tells me its already. 1. $23 to fix a "flat" (NTB is by far cheaper) and they obviously had already fixed it before I gave consent . had me sign estimate and invoice at same time when requesting payment. read more

I took my car there for a leaky tire, charged me almost $28.00! Just wanted the tire plugged, and I stated that when I came in. They took the tire off the rim, and patched it from the inside and stated that is how they fix it. Feel that I was scammed and to top it all off, my low tire light was still on when I pulled away and I had to stop and put air into it. Will never return to the shop and I am warning my family and friends about them. read more
