I took my vehicle in to Stop because my check engine light came on and it was the thermostat. Tim told me that it would $450 plus tax and it would be about two days. I drove my car to the shop with only the engine light on. Tim had my car for over a week. After he fixed the thermostat every light on the dash was on and my car was non drivable. He said the engine was in default and he didn't know what was wrong and I should take it to the dealer. Tim damaged the fuel injector, and this cost me $1851.00 plus we had to get a rental car. I gave Tim the opportunity to fix this and he got nasty and told me to take him to court. Under no circumstances should a customer drive into a repair shop and then have to get their car towed out with no explanation as to what the problem was. This repair was clearly out of his league. The Cadillac Dealer called within an hour and told me what it was. He wasn't even competent enough as a mechanic find out why all the lights on the dash were on. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TO one stop auto because I ending up making TWO STOPS and the second one cost me $1851 dollars. Now he will write a rebuttal, make a bunch of excuses, and try to spin it instead of taking accountability. Lets see how he spins this. Remember DROVE IN WITH ONE LIGHT ON AMD TOWED OUT WITH 5 lights on. Those are the facts.

The owner Mike, has always been quick and reliable but he hasn't been there much recently and they have been short staffed so someone else worked on my truck. They charged me 6 hours of labor and almost 1k to fix my plow for a repair I have proof didn't take the guy 1 hour to fix. It takes Just over 6 hours to fully install a plow with all wiring and mounting. Not to repair a leak. Left the shop and my truck barley start and wheb it did multiple lights were on the dash that were not when I brought it there. Truck died in the middle of the street while driving it home. Ended up putting a battery in and appeared fine. Went to plow with my newly fixed plow and less than an hour into plowing it started leaking fluid all over again. Took it back and they looked at it, supposedly fixed in 10 mins and sent me on my way. Guess what? Plows leaking fluid like crazy again and not working. Called and left 2 messages last week asking if I could bring it back to have them fix it properly and if they could call me back and guess what? No call back yet to this day. 9 days later. When Mike the owner is there, the work is quality and things are completely different. He hasn't been there much recently and when he's not the receptionist and mechanics they do have working do not handle anything professionally or at all for that matter. I run a small business so I don't like to write bad reviews about anyone, but after all these issues, multiple calls and messages with no call backs left me no choice. Do NOT go here, or use this place unless Mike is there and you have a GUARANTEE that Mike the owenr will be the one repairing your issue. My car wasn't showing any signs while driving and my family's mechanic of over 20 years also found it a little sketchy. When signs of brake issues did arise 6 months later, I took it to Firestone on Prospect Ave who fixed it for a quarter of the price and I've had no issues since. Maybe Terry's was being truthful about the issues, but if so, it felt way overcharged and pressured to get it fixed sooner than necessary.

I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence.
