Roger, the service advisor was accommodating and listened to what the issue was. He worked with me to get the car fixed in the timeframe I needed. Here is another standout service feature: They looked at the damage (Steering) and only fixed what was known to be bad. No oversell. I had options to choose from. THAT is what I call perfect service. The not-so-great: Nothing! All positive from this visit, (Repair cost $500) When a vendor listens, keeps promises and shows that they are willing to keep the scope to what is needed, you have my loyalty. Communication is very nonexistent amongst workers , One person says one thing and the next person says another which is very inconsistent and deceiving to a customer. Wait times are ridiculously long and I'm not sure why ,there's never a garage full of cars, seems like they just move slow. I'm always told to just leave my car for a day , even if it's as simple as me getting an oil change , which is crazy and unrealistic, not even sure why they take "appointments" , I will for a fact not be coming back ! read more

Called to see if they had a wait time for an oil change on a Friday afternoon. Got in immediately and they said probably an hour or a little less to wait. Turns out it was less than 30 minutes and the whole thing was done! Plus they had a tv and comfortable chairs while we waited AAAANNDD we got to control the remote. I brought my flat tire into this place to have it repaired because it located across from my house. However,I was very disappointed when this one short auto technician just looked at it and he said my tire is beyond repairs and I need a new tire! I then told him what a Moron he is because my flat tire has 1/8 of a puncture by a nail and it not even comes close to the tire's wall. I then told him the reason people dislike mechanics like you is because you are all distrustful and I will prove to you that I will fix this flat tire myself! To find out the reason this Firestone's mechanic was so hurry to convince me to change my repairable flat tire to a new tire because my 235/45/19 96V Continental all season will cost around $284.99 each before tax and his company will make half of it instead of just charging me $15 dollars for just a simple repair. What's a Crook!!! Anyhow, I spent $9.72 after tax on this DIY Tire Repair kit which I purchased it from AutoZones this afternoon and it worked out Perfect! Will tell everyones I know not to come to this Firestone location and I can see why this place is never busy everytime I pass by. Firestone needs to train your employees how to treat potential customers with respects and honestly because without customers. Your business will go belly up and you are not the only business in town. As a former ASE Master Technician,I was so please to let one of your idiotic technician a piece of my mind and let hope that he would never do that to other potential customers! Would give zero stars if I could. Was out for a drive with my dog and realized my tire pressure was very low extremely low. When I got out to inspect it I found a nail so I took it to fire stone since they were close by and ask them about getting a tire. The sales person that came out to talk to me stated that there was no way I could buy only just one tire I need it for tires because I had 4 Wheel Drive. Didn't like the way he was talking to me and didn't seem like that was true so I got back in my car and drove to tire works and I'm so glad I did. Hundred percent this guy was telling me BS. First of all I don't have four-wheel-drive and I only needed one tire so save yourself money don't go to this company because they try to nickel and dime you and sell you want stuff you don't need. This place was a life saver for me today. Everything aligned perfectly even though the situation I was in wasnt pleasant the people that helped me were. I am in a middle of moving and I've had a lot of car trouble prior to today's incident. This morning I had a whole agenda planned until I realized I had a flat. The tire store near me was closed today. Luckily I was aligned with firestone on horizon. I had a great conversation with Nicole who is super awesome. I was having such a crazy morning and just having a great conversation with an awesome person put me more at ease. The guy that was also working was super awesome too . They had a whole day of appointments scheduled out but I got super lucky one of them flaked and they got me right in. I've had nothing but excellent experiences at this shop This location fixed an incorrect repair made by another shop. They ate the cost for the new/correct parts and all the labor. They stood by the work and it impressed me greatly. On another trip, I paid the extra for lifetime alignment and that has also been backed up without an issue every time. My vehicle is driven off-road quite a lot and alignment can often suffer as a result, they've never given any excuses or tried to get out of the deal. I keep my paperwork and have it ready each time but I've never had to "prove" my coverage. I bought my latest set of tires here and that also went smoothly and the lifetime rotation, repair, etc. has worked out nicely. I know each person's experience can be unique and I don't discount what has been written by others but I can only judge this location based on my experiences and those have been exceptional. read more

I went in the other day to get my oil changed. Customer service was amazing! I was greeted by Barry as soon as I walked in the door and he was very nice. There was even a coupon that he pulled up for my oil change. The oil change was pretty quick and then Barry showed me their checklist and that everything else was good on my car. Went to Firestone for a new battery...got the new battery, but also got a Corrosion Protection Package for $15.49 that I did not ask for & was not informed of when I paid. When I called about it after I got home, I was told it was part of the battery replacement package. I informed them it was not a "package" if it was an extra charge on top of the "battery replacement package"???...I called the next day since the mgr was not there & he was very nice about the "miscommunication" & is refunding the Corrosion Protection Package charge...buyer beware-scrutinize your receipt before you leave this establishment (I am a senior citizen-maybe they thought I wouldn't notice), they may try to sneak something in that you didn't ask for & didn't want...also was told there was an online rebate, but it really was just an online chance for a drawing...deceived twice in one day...NOT GOOD!!! read more

The tire was replaced successfully so I'll stretch to 1 star; however, we changed the tire in 7 minutes on the 215 and when we stopped at Firestone at 4pm we were told the new tire exchange would take 20 minutes but to give them an hour. 2.5 hours later I came back after receiving a call asking which tire needs replacing. I'm waiting as an obese technician lifted the car up as he can't bend over to check tread depth of the brand new tire. Monkey see monkey do so I suppose it's a success but if it takes Firestone 2.5 hours to change a flat tire (when only 2 of the bays are occupied and 4 people are working) I'm not sure I would trust them to do anything else if you care about your vehicle. read more

These guys lied right to my face. Trying to scam me out of my money. Went for an oil change, but they told me I had a nail in my tire- weird since I JUST got my tires checked out 3 days before hand.. and nothing like that showed up. They told me it was 'irreparable' and it was gonna cost me around $200 for a new tire, $400 for a set. Afterwards, I took it back to my regular place, midas, (The only reason I went to firestone was a for the discount they were having that month). Anyways, asked them to check my tires for any nails. Guess what? NO NAILS. Anywhere. Called them to chew them a new one, manager tried to act stupid and said "Well the nail could have not pierced the tire and not fallen out" Uhhhh I don't think so Mother F**ker- You better make DAMN sure that some 'nail' is good in my tire before telling me its 'non-repairable' and looking to charge me FOUR HUNDRED f**king DOLLARS!!!!!!!!! So I called ahead of time for an appointment, today, Sunday, Come on down, there may be a bit of wait, its first come first serve. I get there I am told right off the bat it will be hours. No sweat. I am asked to leave the car. I am hoping to get some food real quick. I am told I will lose my place if I leave with the car. How can it be hours yet if I go around the block for some food would be minutes? Whether you intended or not it came across incongruent and shady. How does it make me feel like you don't want or need my business? Maybe thinking about closing early today? What happened to customer service? You could have recommended the Firestone down the road on North Stephanie. They were more the pleased to see my RAV4. Here's the skinny...these guys rock! I had a few things on my vehicle that needed to be addressed. I know my way around a vehicle & know who in town to trust and who not to trust. This particular Firestone is a hidden gem in Henderson. If something is wrong with your car, they will find it the first time. Yes, they will try to save you time and money by getting recommended services then and there, but there is zero pressure. The best part about this location is everyone cares. Sure, I bet the boss wants them to make as much as they can off every car, but not at the expense of customer service. Let me tell you about today's visit... Chris was the man holding down the counter today. I've worked with Chris twice now. The first time led to the second as well as a number of referrals. He's not pushy, nor condescending. He explains what is needed, what is recommended and a few 'up sells' that I list under 'manufacturer's recommendations when you have a few extra bucks'. Nice, genuine and a real character. After talking with him a bit, you realize that while his job is important, your safety is really his number one concern. I even brought up a price I saw on the internet and he took care of me. As far as my vehicle goes, everything was done in a timely manner & my vehicle was returned to me in the same condition (other than everything being repaired). You'd be surprised how often my vehicle has gone in for work only to be returned with a new stain on the floor mats or even a scratch. Firestone treats my car as if it is their own. A special shout out to Albert (who actually did the work on the car) as he took the time to explain some things, listened to a couple of 'old guy' stories and answered every question I posed with true class of a gentleman. I know being the mechanic can be a thankless job as you're more often delivering bad news rather than good, so it makes it that much more important to have someone like Albert as part of your 'pit crew'. Dropped my car off for a flat repair and was told it would be less than an hour. I wanted the flat fixed and a quote for four new tires. I called three hours later and it wasn't done. I asked if it would be done in the next hour and the manager(Elvis) said he would check with the techs and call me back. He called back and said they couldn't get it done. He said they only had two techs and had a bunch of cars come in. When I went to pick up my car they had cars that came in after me on the racks. I just don't get it. I guess they're not making enough money off new tires and would rather work on the repairs. Frustrating as now I've wasted the day and I need to find another place to fix my flat late in the evening. Update: went to Costco and it was fixed in 20 minutes and out the door. Ordered my new tires and they'll be in tomorrow! Should have went to Costco in the first place. This place was SO AMAZING! I had tire trouble leaving Las Vegas heading back to California. I called the manager Ken and spoke with him about changing my front tire. I pulled over on the freeway and the front tire was shaking. When I replaced it with a spare tire I saw that the tire had a metal belt showing and was about to blow on the freeway. I had to drive back to Henderson on my spare to get to the nearest tire place. Ken was so helpful on the phone with pricing a tire for me that I decided to take the car there. They had 45 mins left before they closed and I had to get back to work the next day. I had an 8 hr drive ahead of me and when I got to Firestone he had other cars ahead of me, but he was so nice and willing to help me out so I wouldn't be stranded another night. He worked me in and I was so grateful! So if you need tires go see Ken, they know their stuff! read more

This place has been great to me every time I stop in. Its right by my work and I always stop in for the most random things. Ken has helped me each time. Today my tire was completely flat and ruined since I was driving on the rim so he aired up my tire so I could make it to discount tire where I have a warranty on my tires. Just left this location after dealing with Joe. I called this location to get my battery warrantied, after about 3 times and 10 minutes of getting put on hold they finally were able to look up my paperwork and told me to come down, I asked over the phone if they can check my charging system because the battery was only 4 months old.. joe said yeah no problem since you purchased a battery from us. Go to the location and talk to joe and get my battery exchanged. Took about 20-25 mins which seemed a little long since there was no customers or anything. Go home put the battery in and call joe and tell him I'm bringing the car down to get the charging system checked.. he said bring it on down. Arrive at the location and talk to joe, asked him if he could just do a quick visual check for an oil leak, he said yeah we can that with your 24.99 charging system check... ??? He told me over the phone and in person there was no charge since I bought the battery from them. I have no problem paying the fee but not when you tell me twice it's no charge.. if there is already an issue before the car gets into your shop I can't even imagine if I would of agreed to repair the alternator which it needed after going to an orielly and then telling me it needed one after a 2 minute charging system checkup. I have nothing but great things to say about this location. They are frinedly and they are are taking excellent care of my vehicles. I always get there in the morning just in case there are other customers, and im always in and out of there in less than half an hour. I was just there on Saturday and they reminded me I needed new wipers. That was a complete life saver since it rained for two days straight after that. They always inspect my vehicles and make recommendations based on the type, and the severity of condition and what needs to be done. Today I went to Firestone Auto because I had a slow leak on one if my tires and what looked like evidence of pinching on another. Right off the bat, I told the service advisor that I had previously received poor service at another auto shop. She told me not to worry, as they don't work on commission. The service tech looked over my car which took about 20 minutes. I was called back into the garage to look at it and was told I needed 4 new tires and all new shocks and struts... for $1,578. Apparently my shocks were in bad shape, which had caused all 4 of my tires to have cupping on them (a term I'd never heard before and didn't know what it looked like). I was told (about 6 more times) that they, "don't work on commission but work on my safety" so I would know they weren't just trying to sell me parts or maintenance. I was also informed, "shocks last about 30-50K miles at the most" and I should, "go gambling since they've somehow lasted 91K already" and apparently have outrageous luck. Cards on the table, I am a female. I am also small in stature and get mistaken for being a lot younger than I am. I have a habit of assuming people are genuine without them having to prove to me otherwise. I am a smart girl, but don't know much about cars, so I therefore fit into that female stereotype. I called my dad for advice before they started any service. He recommended to get a second opinion and I left Firestone. I went home, researched how long shocks typically last on my type of car and driving habits. I then went on Yelp to read reviews of other auto shops in my area. I drove to the 2nd highest rated auto shop in Las Vegas for a second option. I walked in and told them about my slow leak and nothing else. The owner looked it over and told me I did indeed have a leak in the seal around my rim which he could repair for $30. I casually asked about my shocks, and he went to inspect them. 10 minutes later, he reported back that they were in great shape and that he took his time carefully looking them over. I then inquired about my other 3 tires. He looked those over and recommended the front two be replaced in another 3K miles or so, but just because they were getting a bit worn. I then pulled out my quote from Firestone. The mechanic and owner of the shop looked it over and laughed. The mechanic said it was, "all fluff and lies." I urged him to go check the shocks and struts ONE more time to be totally sure that they were fine, which they were. He fixed my tire, filled the rest and changed a few brake light bulbs. My total was $77. This is why auto repair shops have a terrible reputation. This is why salespeople have a terrible reputation (which is sad, as I am one myself). This is why many females HATE going to auto shops without a male present. This is why I will never return to Firestone, and why I will forever caution people against their service. read more

I had my car towed here when it randomly wouldn't start and the manager was very friendly. I had to have my alternator and battery replaced, everything went great. A few days later my car wouldn't start again, I thought that maybe I left my lights on or something, but I have never done that before. AAA came out to help me and when he pulled out my battery he showed me that the battery was no longer attached because they never cleaned anything before putting the new battery in. It was filthy, erosion all over it. It was actually shocking how filthy it was and after the AAA mechanic showed me how easy it was to clean it (and said they were just being lazy) it shows that care wasn't taken when they put the new battery. read more

I came here today because my wife's 2015 Tahoe needed an oil change and tire rotation. I have to say they do an excellent job here! I watched as the technician re-checked and tightened each lug nut with a torque wrench after rotating the tires. It makes me feel good to know that the wheels are mounted securely. This is my second time coming here in this year. Hands down they are very professional and honest. If i could get 0 starts i could i hope it shows as 0 this place is ridiculous!!!! Yes the store manager Jerry is has nice customer service but that doesn't mean jack shit when the workers aren't doing the job. I got my brakes done then went to the dealership for an oil change and they said i needed my brakes that i just got done fixed ! I took it to Firestone and i had a warranty so they fixed them. My back brakes needed to be done i took them in July 2020 to get fixed when i left it was still making noise and sounded just as bad. It's been 4 months and i take my car to the dealership and they show me and tell me about my brakes. I have absolutely no pad it's metal to metal ! How in 4 months and i don't even drive anywhere. Firestone stay doing 1/2 ass work and say oh you have a warranty come in we will fix it like who the fuck wants to sit in a mechanic shop allday. If they do a correct job the first time we wouldn't have this issue. I suggest going someplace else for work. Go to the dealership yes they may cost more but at least you will know your work is being done correctly. We spent Almost $500 just for brake repair and this is ridiculous. I wouldn't suggest getting my son power wheel truck done here let alone a real fucking car. I am going to contact corporate office because $500/600 for nothing !
