Corporate than indicated that a regional manager would contact me within two days to discuss. That didn't happen either. It appears that apathy about customer care runs all the way to the top at Firestone. I would caution all considering routine service at Firestone in Henderson. read more

I walked in to inquire about a brake light being out and asked for a quote to buy & install 1 bulb. The guy at the counter told me it would be about an hour job for my 2017 Hyundai Tucson and would cost me about 160$. I walked out & went to a different place which told me it takes 5-10 minutes for my make & model & charged me $30. Will never be back to this place. read more

Had some services done that the car really needed. Front brakes and rotors, bearings and four new tires with lifetime wheel alignment. An expensive endeavor but they did a great job. It's been a month since the work was done and the car is driving like it's brand new with increased fuel efficiency. It's been on at least 20 ten hour drives one way since the pandemic and needed the tlc. It's a 2013 Honda CR-V with 79k and looks like it's going to last even longer than I've projected. My daughter was in an accident (one car, no one hurt!) and blew two tires. I am out of state and was worried that she would have two new tires and two sketchy ones. So I called the shop and spoke to them about replacing all the tires. They informed me that her other two are in great shape and wouldn't sell me something that wasn't necessary. How refreshing! I brought my 2018 SUV in for an oil change, tire rotation and balancing to prepare for a road trip across the desert. Picked it up and was told it was in great shape. Returned home to find a major oil leak took it back and they apologized saying that the leak was from the oil change and they fixed the leak. I then started my trip to find a major tire vibration at 70 MPH. I called Firestone and they said that they had NOT balanced the tires. They told me it was safe to drive to California. When I arrived in SLO there were no Firestone shops so I took it to The Tire Place where they found huge cracks on the inside of all four Bridgestone tires which I had just purchased from Firestone. Obviously these tires were not checked or balanced and were unsafe to drive. The tires were unravelling from the inside out. The shop was amazed that the tires did not explode during the trip. I called Firestone and they said to take the car to the nearest Firestone store which was impossible because it was 120 miles away and the tires were not safe to make the trip. Firestone refused to help. Luckily The Tire Place took pity on me and used their Bridgestone warranty to replace all four defective tires free of charge. I am 77 my wife is 75 the incompetence of Firestone put our lives in danger. Firestone needs to retrain their employees and put quality control measures in place read more

I'm so grateful for this place. Their prices are okay, didn't compare it to anywhere else because they were the only ones open at 8 am on a Sunday morning. Everything else opened at 10. I came in with a screw in my tire and they did a great job at replacing it and noticing my serpentine belt had many cracks in it. I've been played before by places so i had the manager show me the cracks. He did so and explained everything to me and i got it both fixed. I was offered the CC but chose not to take it. The service i got from Joe was amazing. It was like talking to an uncle or close family member. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me even more than once if i needed. His personality was awesome. The work was done quickly and i was in and out just as i hoped for. Also i do want to point out i was having a bad morning i have a massive headache i haven't ate or had water in two days. He asked if i was okay or sick ( probably due to covid lol ) but i told him i was fine i just haven't had water ( reason i kept coughing ) and he offered me room temp or cold water and he was just super nice. My husband took our Tesla Model 3 to have a flat tire fixed. Had no appointment and this location was not busy, so he didn't have too long of a wait. Apparently the tire only needed a patch, which was great, so no need to purchase an expensive tire! What has me really irked is that they charged an EXTRA $20 because our car is a Tesla!!! It has an axle, wheel and tire JUST LIKE ANY OTHER CAR!!! WHY IS THAT DIFFERENT???? Any potential Tesla customers beware of this totally cheap shot at us!!! It just rubs me the wrong way when I get there before someone else getting the same service as me, a walk-in oil change, and they are finished a half hour before me. I probably caught them off guard when I asked why my service was completed after the guy that came in 15 min after me, they told me he had an appointment when i heard him say that he did not when he checked in. Excellent. My car battery needed to be replaced, apparently the hot Vegas summers kill batteries. I called around and being a Sunday afternoon, most places were closed. Chris who answered the phone double checked he had a battery that would fit my car. He came back onto the phone, said they had the battery in stock and it would cost $113 out the door. I was down there in about an hour (after my car was jump started) and 45 minutes later, my new battery was installed and I was on my way! My 67 year old mother went here to get an oil change for her 2011 Altima. She was pressured to go synthetic for this and that reason 3 times after telling them conventional is fine. It's the first time she changed the oil since my father passed and wish I was there to get them to back off on upselling her. She paid what she owed not knowing any better and when I went to change her oil this time, Firestone's sticker said synthetic. I'm furious because now she can't go back to conventional that's affordable. So shopper be aware this place doesn't have a problem taking advantage of the elderly. read more

On Thursday, July 23, 2020, I caught a nail in the center of my tire, and not deep. I went to this location and a staff member came out and looked at my tire. He said it could not be patched and I would need a new tire. Thank God they didn't have one in stock and he stated he would get it brought over on the following day, Friday, July 24, 2020. With COVID and all the bad things that are happening this year my household is struggling to stay above water. Tires are not cheap! So I left and I took a picture and sent it to three family members who work on cars out of state. All stated that was a lie and the tire was an easy fix. So the next morning I went to Discount Tire Store located at 432 W Lake Mead Pkwy Henderson, NV 89015. They patched my tire and did not even charge me for the fix. Firestone has no integrity and especially in these difficult times, it is horrid they planned to be dishonest and cheat me into buying a brand new tire when mine was perfect, very new, and simply needed a patch. Complete rip off I've been using this location fir 7 years since they opened they serviced my company vans and all my personal cars. The manager jerry told me I needed new rotors and pads on all 4 corners they lied in my opinion it's criminal a loyal customer. I told them put the tires back on and 2 days later took it to another Firestone location on Stepanie the manager Joe told me my brakes are virtual new. Posted both receipts from both locations Firestone did nothing but offer me a free battery and oil change. Imagine being a senior citizen on a fixed income and they charge you $921.00 fir nothing. That's what they tried doing to me rip me of for $921.00 plus tax completely criminal in my opinion next complaint is to the BBB and possibly the state attorney General stay away from this location ripoff criminals. Went to Firestone because one of my tires needed to be fixed it was running low I went in and the guy helping me said I needed a brand new tire, 1 tire was going to cost me $300. Supposedly it was a special run flat tire that I needed to special order. One tire for $300? I was going to get another quote. Went down to discount tire on horizon ridge and they just said I needed to patch up my tire that there was just a small hole and they did it for FREE. They saved me $300. We've been coming to this particular Firestone since we moved to Henderson about 6 years ago. We have yet to receive "bad" service...in fact, Ken is my hero. Whenever my "baby" needs service, or if she is experiencing an unexpected problem, we go here. As soon as I see Ken, I know everything will be okay. He gets straight to the point, makes sure everything gets taken care of, and I know my "baby" is in the best of care. He talks to me like I'm a real person, doesn't talk down to me, and makes sure to explain everything to me in detail. The manage, Gerry Anderson, is pretty rude. First, he asked me who the guy on the warranty with me is. Well none of your business. My name and number is also on the warranty. Secondly, I know my front tires are bad but he didn't need to tell me in the condescending tone he used. "tires stop the car, not the brakes." Duh. Really dude? Then he asked which tire needed to be replaced, I told him and he said you mean the brand new one in the back? Dude there's a damn nail/screw in it. Worst feeling ever is feeling like your parents are being taken advantage of. After my one star Yelp review of Firestone on Euclid in Iowa, I scheduled an appointment w/ the Henderson, Nevada location to take a look at the 'work' done w/ the same car troubles & $2000 later. Of course, I was angry when I arrived there at 11am yesterday cause I sent the fairly new car as a gift to my parents six years ago, only to feel like now it was unsafe to drive. To think that they drove under those squeaky conditions 24 hours away was upsetting! Around 3pm, we spoke to James who was truly awesome. We voiced our frustration to him after multiple times in & out of the Iowa Firestone. He agreed w/ us, took his time to find the exact issue & reassured us that it would be of no charge to us to resolve the nearly $700 issue.. Left front ball joints, alignment, etc. Talk about excellent service! When my mom told me that the manager in Iowa asked her, 'are you sure it's not the fender or the bottle in the door that you're hearing?' I just about lost it. I assure you that we will be regulars at this new Firestone on Horizon Ridge & Paseo Verde. I feel like my parents are in good hands going there w/ or w/ out me. The Firestone in Nevada is charging the Iowa Firestone for the charges & we truly appreciate that. I highly recommend this particular Firestone & in the past before the experience in Iowa, we had always had excellent service w/ Firestone. read more

Had tires shipped here to be mounted and balanced. I was told 1.5 hours, ended up being 3 hours. Not that big of deal but annoying. Sat in the waiting area for the 3 hours and heard many phone calls/interactions with customers. Let just say I would NEVER let my girlfriend come here by herself. The real issues were the techs. As I was leaving a customer, who had just dropped his truck off for rotation and balance of tires, came in upset because he was next door and saw the tech drive his truck onto the streets for no reason. They were just going from the parking spot to the garage, a direct shot. Then I go to get me keys from the tech and he tells me "have to be careful in this car. It's fast! I was trying it out in the parking lot and I had to stop before I got in trouble." Excuse me, you were "trying out" my car in the parking lot?! Will never bring another vehicle here read more

A very poor experience. We brought our jeep in with 35" tires and they were ignorant and combative with her and told her they were a different size. Since we have 4 of them we know our tire sizes. I am beyond shocked a tire dealer doesn't know a 35" Inch tires is a 315 in metric. Manager didn't even know. Embarrassing for a National brand to be so completely incompetent. The insisted it was 37" which they can't handle due to equipment size which I can understand. But to not know or take the time to look up and confirm. Needless to say our fleet of Jeeps won't be back again. I'd advise some more training since 80% of Jeeps in Las Vegas have this size of tire. read more

regarding the 2640 pecos ridge location made an appointment for 10:00. estimate was 100.oo minimum for a 55,000 miles service and to remove service do light which was also on my audi, they would contact me if any further issues arise.which was fine.i asked upfront if they follow the same manual as audi dealership does. the female employee i came across first her response was yes and gino the same.the staff was pleasant. car was done in 45 minutes. however when i entered inside my carto leave i notice the service was still on.i went back to gino and he said it would take a while to get to it which i got the impression he wanted me to walk away and discouraging me from staying. i told him i'll wait.10 minutes later he walked to the car with hand equipment attempting to remove the service do light. he could not.he said the audi dealership could only remove it. i went back the next day and i mentioned that i was told by a different firestone shop the computer in the shop there would take care of it. gino said he doesn't have that computer there but some firestone's shops do. finally, now i question whether the technician actually even saw the service light or it would have been indicated in the invoice handed to me at the end,and 45minutes seemed kinda fast for a 55,000 miles but i'm not a mechanic, also at this point it feels like the information given to me was untrue or dishonest. i've been a firestone fan from the 70's and i hope this is not a continuous trend with firestone which is known for honesty. read more

Unlike other Firestone locations, this particular service center was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient with their customers and their questions. Joe was very honest with me about what my old Lexus needed and what could wait. He gave me some insight on what specifically starts happening once the car reaches a certain age with wear and tear and maintenance. And Joe was SPOT ON with his recommendations and advise. I was so impressed that afterwards I asked for his card and told him I would only come to this location from now on for this and my other car. read more

We live in Phoenix and we were about to head out of town and noticed a nail in our tire. We stopped at this Firestone and Chris was able to help us out. Luckily two people hadn't showed up for their appointments and he fit us right in. He told us about a restaurant and Starbucks nearby if we didn't want to wait in the lobby. We went for coffee, came back and they were already checking on the tire. Turns out it was a short nail at an angle with no damage. My first encounter with them seemed ok, but when I checked my bill...they over charged me for oil !! Had to go back. Gave them a second chance... They checked the box for washer fluid (meaning they checked it) ...the light came on a couple days later...EMPTY!! They said they put brake pads on front tires....THEY DIDNT!! I went in last Friday at 4:45 pm because one of my front tires had an issue with the sidewall. Ken Coyne got me in right away and did his research to make sure the 2 new tires I would be getting matched the tread on the other 2 tires. He was polite and professional and he did not rush my work order even though they were getting close to closing time. He was even able to give me a bit of a discount which was greatly appreciated. I bought Firehawks, lifetime alignment package and what I thought was a very good warranty for the tires for my 94 Mustang GT at this store's Grand Opening. I stopped by three weeks ago to have a slow leak checked out. One of the men came out and look my tires over then told me although I had only around 20,000 miles on them that there was no warranty and I would need to purchase a whole set because of the wear line or something of that sort. I was then told there are some Bridgestones on sale that were made for my Mustang and at over $1,100, they would have them in the next day. Thank you Lord for computers since my information is in Firestone's web because doing business with men like him, I shall never go back to that store and if it closed tomorrow, that man and men like him have done a terrible Justice to Firestone's reputation. I called around noon today in need of a smog test. I figured it was about time for me to get other stuff done as well (oil change, tire rotation, and the fuel injection cleaning). The guy who I spoke to on the phone was very open about how busy they were and originally tried to have me schedule the next day or two days from now. He then found out the smog guy was only in today. He said if I could get in within the hour, he'd help take care of everything. He even gave me a quote for the services I needed on the phone and this amount didn't change. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly and I sat in the lobby next to a woman who brought her small dog. I could tell the woman had been there plenty because she talked to everyone by their first name, Her issue (failing the smog test) was unable to be resolved, but they sent her away with papers to provide a specialist. They didn't charge her either event though they spent a long time trying to diagnose the issue. Anyways, It took about 1.5 hours for my car to get all the works done. Everyone I talked to was genuine and they provide details about everything I might need to get done, They don't push extra services on you and you are able to observe the crew as they work on your car. Stopped by around 4:15PM yesterday to get a lube job & Smog Check done. Their smog check system was broken, and they just had ONE service technician working, so I was quoted 6:30PM as being the time my car *should* be done -- 2 hours & 15 minutes wait before my car "should" be done, for a simple oil change?!! This is a big service center, with multiple service bays, so having one tech on-duty on a normal weekday afternoon indicates to me that this place has problems... read more

Bought a new set of tires for my car through TireBuyer, and due to the number of good reviews here on Yelp, decided to have them installed at this Firestone location . Tires were delivered promptly and I was able to bring my car right in. The guys at the shop were very professional and courteous. Price was exactly as quoted online. They had my car in/out in about 1.5 hrs. So why not 5 stars? After I went home, I decided to wash my car. They did not clean off my rims, which would have been a really nice touch, but no biggie. As I cleaned them myself, I noticed that not only did they not bother to clean off the sticky residue from the old balancing weights that they removed, they also put a bunch of gouges into the rims in the process of removing those weights. I'm pretty sure they went at it aggressively with a paint scraper. I brought the car back to show them the damage, and the manager again was professional and courteous. He immediately referred me to a local rim repair shop. I lost use of my car for another day, I had to pay out of pocket for the repair, then I had to go back to Firestone to drop off my receipt. Inconvenient, but still they took care of it without any hassle. I got a reimbursement check in the mail about 10 days later. If there had been no damage done to my vehicle, this would have been a 5 star experience hands down. Kudos to these guys for owning up to their mistake and paying for the repair without any further undue aggravation. Their customer service is excellent, but I can only give 3 stars because I expect guys who work at a tire shop to know how to do the work without causing damage. Also, whoever did the actual work KNEW he caused the damage, and didn't say anything or ask for help when he was clearly having trouble. Instead, he went on to every other wheel and just did the same thing, hoping I wouldn't notice. read more

Wow! Great service! After leaving the Ford dealership completely frustrated, I decided to try this Firestone based upon reviews here. The great: Open all week! Roger, the service advisor was accommodating and listened to what the issue was. He worked with me to get the car fixed in the timeframe I needed. Here is another standout service feature: They looked at the damage (Steering) and only fixed what was known to be bad. No oversell. I had options to choose from. THAT is what I call perfect service. The not-so-great: Nothing! All positive from this visit, (Repair cost $500) When a vendor listens, keeps promises and shows that they are willing to keep the scope to what is needed, you have my loyalty. No negatives to report. Convenience, price and quality service backed up by people like Roger will keep me coming back for service. read more
