What a scumbag operation!!! I've been a customer for 30 years, had my rims swapped out end of march. My front wheel months later almost fell off my Mercedes SUV because discount tire over tightened the lug bolts which caused them to stretch ruining the integrity of the bolts. It took months for it to finally happen but I was out with my son and we heard a horrible noise, looked and saw there were only two lug bolts holding on my 22" wheel and the pieces that broke off due to them being over tightened and stretched were stuck between the rotor and the backing plate scraping the rotor. I filed a claim that was denied without even looking at the vehicle or the evidence, just because it took 3700 miles to finally break! We could've been killed me and my son! Recently had my vehicle serviced and noticed the work notes mentioned my tires thread levels are 3/32" Figured it's time for a new set as it's almost 30k miles. I always use Discount Tire for all my tires need and this is one of my best (fastest) experience. And I've selected this location as it's closer to home. I always book an appointment (yes you can walk in and roll the dice on the wait times but why?) My appointment was Saturday at 9am, figured it'll take 90 minutes to get it done boy was I wrong! As soon as I arrived, someone already walked out and greeted me as soon as I exited the vehicle (now that's some VIP service!) He quickly checks each tire thread levels and sure enough they're at 3/32" As we walked back inside, first thing I noticed is they've remodeled. (Very nice!) There seems to be less seating space although but judging how fast their service is it's not an issue. We quickly went over tires option, note they now have Dual monitors at each station (one for the employee and one dedicated facing the customer) No more flipping one monitor back and forth! One thing I always remove when getting new tires are the certificates. Reasons? Never used them. Unless you're constantly getting flats, I just don't see the value paying extras for these certificates. As a side note, one of the best thing about Discount Tire is in an unlikely event you do get a flat, they'll fix it for you FREE (if it's repairable) It doesn't matter if you bought the tires from them or not. Of course they hope to sell you new tire(s) They also offered FREE wheel alignment inspection which I gladly accept. :) My quote out the door after taxes is just under 1k (yup tires aren't cheap!) I planted myself at one of the bar stool section, they now have a free USB charger/plug. I always bring my own battery pack but it's good to know you can charge. As a side note, I try not to plug-in my device directly into these public charger as they can be tampered with. But I will use them to top off my battery pack. It's 9:07am (my appointment is 9am but we spent at least 5 minutes going over the tire selection) I get a text where I can track the status of my vehicle (this is when they just pulled it in) One of the Service Tech came out to talk to me directly regarding my wheel alignment inspection. For some reason, they can only perform the inspection but NOT perform any work (if it needs to be done) due to the front camera/sensor system I have on my vehicle. Not that I need the alignment yet but this is good to know. At 9:25am, I get a text saying my vehicle is ready for pickup, like What?!? While it wasn't completely true (the tires are on there but they have to do a quick test drive) Yet this is still INSANE that they've completed both the tires and wheel alignment inspection in under 18 minutes!! Wrap up was quick even though my initial service advisor wasn't available. One of the service tech was able to complete the transaction. Thank you all for the job very well done and fast! read more

I got a warning on my dashboard this morning that said I needed to have my tire monitoring system serviced on my Chevy Trailblazer.I didn't even know or realized that I had such a thing, but now I do. Thanks to a very helpful and friendly employee named Michael that I talked to and saw after work, everything is good.I go to Discount tire to get tires put on various cars that I've had over the years. They've always been very helpful and professional and get the job done. I made an appointment this morning. Went in after work tonight and now I have a little bit more knowledge about my car and how it works. I went to this discount tire the other day I had a nail in my tire. I went there Brighton early. Got there about 10 minutes early. Watch the three young men playing in the garage for a little while one person sit over there to get air in their tire watch the lady pull up because she had an appointment at 8 o'clock me and this gentleman I was there before him long story short they opened at eight and as we were walking in, clearly, I must've been because all the men overlooked me and took the men first and the one lady who had an appointment at 8 o'clock. He didn't even tell them that she had the appointment until they asked her, but they never addressed me. Yeah, they went ahead and took the nail out of the tire. This is not the first time I've had an encounter with this particular discount tire when I won't be going back I'll take my chances driving further away then to go to that one again. read more

I took my car in because I noticed I had a nail in the tire. Thankfully, they offer a free patching service if it is safe enough to do so. They held on to my car for a couple of hours and called me 30 minutes before closing to let me know they didn't see a nail in the tire even though I showed them a picture of it. They even "dunked" the tire into liquid which revealed to them that there was no leakage. When taking the car to another tire shop down the street, they showed a nail visibly in the tire (as I already knew) and said that it did have a leak. That service at that shop cost me $20, but I was thankful that at least they cared enough to fix the issue. Mind you, I was in town visiting family and was not wanting to drive back with a tire that had a nail in it, which I let this shop know. My only advice is to make sure 100% that the issue truly isn't an issue and get a second opinion. read more

These kids bust their ass! I say kids because I'm in my 60's. They are the blueprint for every other discount tire. Eric, and company, know their business. They work hard, and will never screw you! They do the right thing no matter who is watching. They pay attention to detail and if they tell you that you need something, you need it. Recently, I purchased Firestone P 215/45 R17 tires. The sales guy told me that the tires had to get ordered. He ordered the tires. On the day, the tires were supposed to be delivered to the store. I didn't get a call from the sales guy. I called the store. I was told the tires didn't arrive. I waited two more days. The tires I ordered were still not delivered to the store. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Great service and quick turnaround. The line was long this Friday afternoon. However, the staff where able to quickly help the customers. Joshua helped us and was very helpful. We had a screw in the tire and he stated that it would be ready in 1 hour. He also stated that the tread was getting close to being warn down and that he could give us a quote but no pressure to buy. We ran some errands and received a text message that our car was finished. Returned and picked the car up, with no issues. No charge for the screw in the tire. We had a Tesla and he quoted us $1300 for a set of 4 Michelin tires that was Tesla grade due to the weight of the car. Will shop around but I believe Discount Tire has the best price. read more

I can't tell you how many times they have fixed a flat, free of charge. I recently picked up some road shrapnel that made one of my tires unrepairable. That meant I had to buy a new one. As it turns out, I had a full set of tires from another car with pretty much new tread that were just sitting on the side of my house, and they completely swapped out the tires free of charge. They even cleaned up the sidewalls and sprayed them with tire wet so that they looked awesome. I bought my tires here because they offer free rotation and balance. I needed a rotation and balance after about half life on my 40" tires for my Jeep. I am pretty in tune with the off-road community and issues but never heard of balancing beads. I figured I would just get a balance like normal with weights and instead "Zac" educated me on how off-roaders with very large tires use beads to balance the large tires. If you want to receive top notch service and get great recommendations.... talk to Zac. If you want to be treated like a child and have all your decisions questioned....
