1 star I am posting an additional review because Firestone management has still not provided any meaningful follow-up or resolution regarding my formal complaint, Case #2977465. I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability. read more

Called this location, because I visited a few months back, and I was impressed by the service AT THAT TIME... I was provided a quote, and I was calling to discuss that, but I'm guessing I was bothering Mike where he kinda pushed me off saying I might be meaning to call the Terrell location and said he could transfer me there. I called Forney cause that's where I was wanting to deal with but after that I'm now searching to take my business elsewhere. Sad to be in such a hurry you can't speak 2 mins to a client. Called to get a state inspection completed. Spoke with a representative and was told that it would be a 30 minute "in and out inspection" and there was no one in line. I was 5 minutes down the road and when I arrived I was told that unfortunately, the emissions personnel were on lunch and would not return for an hour. Terrible service. Inconsiderate. Took my 2018 Prius prime for a p0302 cylinder 2 misfire and it took them 2 days to roll it into the bay to look at it because they lost my information somehow and then they didn't even run diagnostics. The technician said he heard an engine knock so there is nothing they could do. so I towed it to the dealership which changed out the igniter coils and spark plugs and the car is back on the road. read more

I was able to call and make an appointment over the phone and was really happy that the website provided me with complete printable directions to the Firestone shop. The person that assisted me in setting up the appointment, and the manager that took care of my auto needs was very courteous and very helpful. I felt that I was in good hands and also decided that this would be the place to keep my car needs taken care of from now on. I came in and dropped my car off at 11AM, I was told to come back between 4-5pm same day and so I did. My car had not been seen and I was told it was up next..... it was not seen for another hour !!!! I get that you may have other cars to service but there was no communication and the front office guy was sassy, rude, and defensive. George and other workers here are so nice. I was having an extremely bad week, and I received here what you hear about Southern hospitality. I had run over part of a tire that had come off of the car in front of me, was terrified of the noise my car was making, and they fixed a bent heat shield for me with such kindness, sympathy, and patience as my anxiety was through the roof. I spent almost $600 here getting new tires. Upon leaving, my low tire sensor was on. I brought it back in and they claim that the battery in the sensor just died on it and it has to be replaced. It's hardly a coincidence that the sensor died the same day they replaced the tire. They damaged it when mounting the tire and refuse to take responsibility or fix their mistake. My daughter was stranded with a tire rapidly losing air. She was able to purchase a brand new tire at NTB but they did not have any availability to mount it today. We contacted Firestone in Forney & were told by Shawn (Shaun?) that they are not able to mount a tire that is not purchased in house. I contacted your customer support chat to inquire about your policy & Beth was very helpful. She could not explain why we were told this as the policy is that the tire has to be new & not used. She then made a call to the Mesquite location (2221 N Galloway) who said they could mount the tire @ 4pm today. I texted my daughter IMMEDIATELY so she could call up there but when she called she was told "they just got slammed" & they could make an appt for tomorrow. In less than 3 minutes?!?!?! This is absolutely AWFUL customer service!!!! When your associates put sales above customer service you have done something wrong!!! Took my truck in for repair and when they returned it, the handle/arm rest was complete broken of the driver side. It's an old truck, but what really bothered me was the fact that they didn't say anything about it to me. Got in my truck to drive away and noticed it just fell off. If a person doesn't have the strength of character to own up to something so minor, what would they do if something major went wrong? My old truck has a lifetime alignment with Firestone. They recommended I pay $94 for a slightly with a 12 month warranty. How could they not tell in their own system that it has a lifetime alignment warranty? read more

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Called to schedule an appointment for an oil change. Walked in for my scheduled appointment. Was told that I didn't have an appointment and that no one was in the store to even do a simple oil change. Will never use this company again. Usually use them for my fleet vehicles. I have attempted to get my vehicle alignment checked twice at this location. I scheduled the service on line and got email confirmations. The first time, I arrived at the store to find it closed with a sign on the door. Why couldn't they email me to say they were closed instead of driving there to find out. The second time was today as I had a 10AM appointment. When I arrived at 0935, they told me it would be 2 hours before they could get to it. If I schedule service I expect it to start within 15 minutes of the appointment time. This business is mismanaged and lacks integrity. I will not return. I got a flat tire and went to Firestone. When I got there the business looked clean and they had a tv in the waiting room. Freddie was the name of the man that helped me and he was very helpful and quick to get my tire checked out. It turned out it had a massive nail through it and couldn't be patched up. He offered to put the spare on the car so I could take it to my Ford dealership since I had a warranty on the tires. He was very honest through out the whole process and said I could pay for a new tire from Firestone but that it would be less expensive to go to Town East Ford. When it came time to pay he told me not to worry about it. I was really pleasantly surprised and thanked him. It's nice to know that good customer service still exists. read more

Thought I would give them a try. I was happy because the online appointment system allows you to pick 7pm as an option for service. I chose it and got a confirmation #. They called me at 615pm to tell me they close at 7pm and cannot do the service. I asked why they allow 7pm as an option and the answer was "Well I don't know" Well they just got there 1st and last chance for my business. read more

Firestone itself is a great shop. This particular store stays busy! The people are friendly, the store is clean and comfortable, and there are lots of things to do around the store if you have to wait. Best advice is to CALL or GO IN to schedule an appointment and DROP OFF YOUR CAR. Sometimes the store is short staffed, but also slammed with business. Overall, it's a great and reliable place to have your car serviced. They take good care of your car and make sure that they alert you to anything else they find. No one is twisting your arm to buy anything, they just let you know what they see. read more

I sought Firestone as a quality and reputable company. I was disappointed. I decided not to get my car repaired there due to their pricing. No problems if you want to "price" your superior service. Yet, upon receiving my car back, their was a putrid smell in my car. It was awful. The smell was of a farmer working in the hog pin and wallowing all over my seats. My kids were appalled with the smell and continued to complain. Just off of that smell alone, I will never return there again. Spending my money and feeling satisfied is important. The Diagnostic alone was $180.00. Please put something on the seats so your mechanics don't leave their sweaty body odor everywhere. read more

I would give a zero but it is not an option. I had a 10:00 appointment to have 2 tires put on my car. I left it to be done . When I came to pick it up at 4:30 that afternoon, it was not done. Not only was it not done, Billy the manager got an attitude with me. I made a complaint with the district manager and he did not even get back with me. Zero stars! read more

I stopped by the store shortly after they opened for the day to get a tire replaced and potentially all four replaced. (I have a fleet vehicle) I was told it would be 2-3 hours, but I could make an appointment. So I made an appointment at 1pm that afternoon. I arrived at 12:55pm. I asked how long they expected it to take (I had to wait because I did not have a ride). I was told it could be 2-3 hours because it all depended on how long it takes my fleet company to approve the replacements. OK. I sat down and 30 minutes later, they still had not even called the fleet company or looked at my tires. (This is even though I had an appointment). I asked them to retrieve my keys and decided to take my business elsewhere. They did not even apologize or seem to care. All I can say, is if you must use this Firestone, plan on dropping off your car because their attitude is "we'll get to it when we get to it." read more
