Broke the logo off our tires and used scotch tape to tape it back on. When we brought it up they said it was there when we came in. In fact I made this account just to say how horrible it is go anywhere else DO NOT COME This was in 2019

The window on our minivan would not roll up. Apparently, it was off track. They diagnosed and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost.

Good experience. Got an alignment. Nice people treated me well and got me in even though they are short of technicians right now.

I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!

They provide fast, reliable service without compromising on quality. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place! The value was excellent as well. Turned out, it was a problem they couldn't fix (Ford is a pain in the backside). So, they charged us for nothing but the labor to look into it. Because of their honesty, we took our vehicle in when one of the door handles randomly snapped off one day (really shouldn't do that on a 2016 vehicle). They were wonderful and kept us apprised of the progress and pricing every step of the way. We even had them perform our state inspection while they were at it, which was a great value. The staff was super friendly and helpful every step of the way and zigged when we zagged (it was a particularly bad week for cars for us). Everyone we encountered seemed very trustworthy, the price seemed fair and the finished product is perfectly acceptable. We will be using Christian Brothers for our auto shop needs in the future.

I've been to their shop a few times. This last experience has lost me as a customer…read more They held my car for almost a week and made lots of excuses like "the tech is still looking and hasn't found the issue yet". The problem was very obvious, and it was explained with great detail, and should not have taken so long. It was all just excuses. They also added a laundry list of problems they found and inflated the bill. They even made up a problem and tried to quote me $6000+ for repairs. I could buy a new car for this price, this repair is almost more than the value of the car. In the end, I paid $3300+ and I don't believe they did all the work they claimed. They charged me to change one of my fog lights and never did it too. This whole experience proved to me they have no integrity and make stuff up to suck as much money as possible out of the customer. They all had guilty smiles on when I was in their office paying. They tried to get me to pay for a large, non-critical repair. Going by the experience I had, I am suspicious they may have left things "loose" to create a car problem down the road. The car still has a rattle in it, and this was the reason I brought it in. In the end, I had to wait a week, waste money using Ubers, lied to, bill inflated, did not do all the work they listed, and possibly sabotaged my car to have failure later. This car is pretty new. I have been very gentle with it and always do regular maintenance. The car only has 70k miles on it. They essentially tried to con me. I am posting this so others can see what sort of tactics they use. I will be using a different mechanic and I am going to have this mechanic shop do an examination of the car. The car is fairly new. It should not have all these problems. Either they lied or created them and tried to suck $6000+ from me. Even the $3300+ I paid was ridiculous. EDIT: I am probably going to do a chargeback because I believe they frauded me. My car is worse off since they touched it. I came in for something that was more of a "noise inconvenience", not a major repair. When they came back to me and named a list of repairs, I agreed because I figured the car would be immaculate. This is not the case. My car is worse. They wanted to upsell me on more repairs and I declined. The noise is worse, I hear parts rattling. I am nervous now about my tire coming off the axle or some other major malfunction and it causing me to get in a major wreck. I know they will try to blame me. But you can simply check the miles when I went into their shop and the current miles it has now. Not even 500 miles have been put on it since. All local driving. It is also obvious they did not do all the work they claimed. I wish I never allowed them to touch my car because now it feels broken. The car was fine before.

They said they would also charge me a $250 diagnostic fee. I called Japanese Autoworks and Chris quoted me $75 for the diagnosis. I had my car towed to them after they closed, and they fixed it literally THE NEXT DAY - they fit me in after a cancellation. Kate was extremely helpful on the phone and explained everything they were doing and walked me through the pricing. They replaced my hose with an aluminum hose so that the rubber part wouldn't fail and the same thing wouldn't happen. They did my oil change & I will be taking my car back soon for them to look at my AC. I picked this shop based on reviews, and I felt it only fair to talk about my experience as someone who isn't a car guy and has a hard time picking mechanics other than a dealership. Probably the best shop I've taken my car to.

My 2009 Kia Optima would stall in the middle of driving or when attempting to drive for the day. The lights would flash, dashboard would light up but the car never turned over. Finally after multiple mechanics, I decided to take it to Parra for a full diagnosis. Justin had a few hunches what may have been the issue but they did not resolve the problem. It became difficult to troubleshoot since the car had to be inoperable when I brought it to him. Unfortunately the car would eventually start without a resolution. So Justin stuck it out with me and tried one last ditch effort. My car had a key fob but it broke years ago and was never replaced. Justin recommended buying a new key fob since the issue imitated an alarm being activated. While this seemed far fetched, it ended up being the resolution. This incident occurred three months ago and I haven't had an issue since. The car would stall once a week, run for three weeks and stall again. The proprietor's name is Jay, and he is as good as it gets. He shakes your hand firmly, looks you in the eye when he speaks, and is as honest as a preacher! I've been regularly since moving here, and his work is impeccable, and he beats the cost of any garage in the Mid-Cities area, if not the entire DFW area! Furthermore, he stands behind his products. Here are a few examples: My fiance's Honda needed a new set of tires. Jay sold us a pair (generic tires), for cheaper than discount tire could sell them. Two days later, my fiance drove through a construction area, and got 3 nails in the new tires, and they were both on the outer side of the tire, so it couldn't be repaired. Jay replaced the tires, no questions asked, and for no additional charge. (he didn't try to sell me insurance on the tires. he just fixed them). That same Honda had a funky noise a couple months later. I thought it was either the clutch or the transmission, so I took it to Jay. I left it with him and he called the next day saying it was the clutch also. I decided to have other vehicle maintenance performed while he was at it (timing belt change). Jay offered to do both, the entire clutch assembly AND changing the timing belt (including all that entails... water pump, seals...) and his price for both jobs beat the price of simply having the clutch repaired at 3 other garages and one dealer! How can you pass up a deal like that? Anyway, I told him to go ahead and do the $1000 worth of work. He called me later that same day and told me they found out it wasn't the clutch at all, but a broken motor mount pin, that would only cost me $75. Any other garage would have gone ahead and done the $1000 worth of work, and THEN told me I needed to do the motor mount pin in addition to... Jay is simply an honest man, doing his best for his fellow citizen. He's not in it to rip you off but to do a good job. His staff is a reflection of his own integrity also.
