This place was great and they took care of replacing my tires. I did have a few issue though, for one, they didn't have cups for the coffee or even water on the mini fridge they have at the lobby. I also couldn't use the bathroom since theirs a bad leak in the ceiling, it's literally leaking right on the toilet! I typically like to go to Firestone for all things tires, but this visit has me thinking maybe time to shop around. I went in for a tire plug on my lunch break...which should not have taken more than an hour...I was there for two. What really had me disappointed is seeing people come after me and leave before me...I know a tire plug is something that you can work into your day and I didn't mid that it was going to take a while, but two hours?!?! Beware, if you use your Bridgestone Credit Card make sure you know what the interest rate is or they have or have not put you on a 6 months pay with no interest rate. Hope thats not confusing. I went to buy tires and tech found a lot of things wrong with my car. Everything was repaired, used my Bridgestone CC. I make my monthly payments, always paying over amount due. But amount seems to be growing. After a phone call I find out I was put on a pay in 6 months program and didn't know it. They added $190.00 to my account cause I didn't pay it off. If I would have known, it would have been paid off. This is unfair but batching will not get me anywhere. Brought my vehicle & dropped it off for an alignment. I replaced the tie rods & lower ball joints myself the day before & needed an alignment since the vehicle wasn't driving correctly. I got a call 3 hours later asking why I needed an alignment. I told them I replaced the parts mentioned. They then told me they wouldn't be able to do the alignment because my control arms were worn. If I wanted to get the alignment, I would have to have the control arms replaced first. Then they quoted me 1,283.91 to replace them including alignment. I went to pick up my vehicle disappointed with their service, such a waste of time. Not to mention a safety concern driving this way on the road. I ended up going to NTB, they got my alignment done, car drives perfect now. Would not recommend this place, instead of helping you, they want to take advantage of you! Stay away! read more

RUN FROM HERE ! My husband and I came here because we always had good experiences with Firestone but this one is the exception. First red flag: they never notified that the appointment was neither confirmed or not by an email, phone text, etc nothing. so we had to call them since I had a bad feeling about not receiving an answer and they told us that the appointment available online @ 8 am was not meant for an oil change but that they were available for one @ 12pm (what?) Second red flag: 2 WHOLE HOURS to do an oil change, great. The entire work day was gone by now. THIRD RED FLAG: when we were paying we asked for a discount since we saw it online and on the flyers on the front desk, but it seemed as if it was a really difficult thing to do since the lady on the front desk the first thing that said was "and you couldn't have let me know before right?" Like ... ok, I'm sorry ? Forth red flag: after waiting those 2 hours when we came out to the car, NO STICKER was on (the one when they prove that they did the oil change and when you should do the next one) and the the oil change light WAS TILL ON ! Fifth flag: the front desk lady all the time that we were there seemed lost, but when we went back inside to get them to put on the sticker and as about why the light was still on, she asked: "DO YOU HAVE THE MANUAL?, BECAUSE I AM NOT SURE THEY KNOW HOW TO DO IT?"Then why would you take in a certain type of car if you know they have no idea what they're doing ?!!! Im in the service and hospitality industry so I hate posting negative reviews, but I wont be going here again and want to warn others. I've brought both of my vehicles here and the first I needed 3 tires replaced, since it's suggested you have it even I opted in for four. It was only after 3 were put on I was informed they didn't have a 4th. I knew very little abt cars at this point, but knew that it's not recommended and asked if they had a different one or if we should change all 4. No, they would order the 4th and call me when it was ready to be put on, surprise, surprise this never happened. Not a big deal, but now I know after yesterday that it's customary to know this info beforehand (you should be aware of your inventory) and go over options prior to installation, just bad form. Now, yesterday we had a flat due to a nail, wanted to see if we had a warranty and talk options. My husband calls and is immediately interrupted and the girl said "hold on" and puts him on hold. The attitude from the get was atrocious. I take over the call and try to be precise (maybe she was busy hence the rudeness) and it was like pulling teeth trying to get info out of her. Not helpful, not pleasant. Like I understand you may hate your job, but don't take it out on me for simply wanting to be a paying customer. After the convo she says they would need to look at it, even ensure it's their tire (again the way she said it was condescending) we told her we'd be by. Now we drive over on a doughnut, which you are not supposed to drive for very long and go in expecting to go over what was said in the phone call and she said they are too busy at that location, come back tomorrow or try another location. We called you specifically to discuss us coming for this service, you couldn't tell us you weren't able to accomplish it while I told you we were coming on the phone?!! Rude in all the ways. We went to discount tire in nrh after this and were assisted kindly and promptly, a vast difference in the times we've been at this location. I went in for a state inspection and they did their usual woman up-sale game. Offered multiple services but said it wasn't needed to pass an inspection. **Even offered new tires but didn't look in their system and notice I just got them replaced by them 2 months ago due to a nail.** I denied all their offered unneeded services and an hour later he says I failed the inspection due to my window tint. So he pretty much said I could have paid for $1000 worth of repairs but they would have failed me anyways for something they noticed in the first five minutes. My trip to the Bedford Fireston... My check engine light was on, and I was having overheating issues. So I went to my long time trusted Firestone, passing many other mechanics on the way. I was told I needed a water pump and timing belt. I had them do it, and put it on a CFNA card due to not having finances for this. The guy told us it would be 18% interest (the card came in the mail, WRONG 28.9% int) and 6 months no interest, better pay that!! When we drove the car about a mile down the road, our check engine light came back on. We went back. He told us "I guarantee this is due to the water pump, drive it around for 200 miles and it will go off" I have to do emissions, so I set out on my 200 MILES!! Come to find out, the check engine light, in fact would NOT turn off. NOW.. I have spent $2200+ for a new water pump & timing belt that I may, or may not have needed!! I cant do my emissions testing (i better not get a ticket)! AND I have a huge interest rate, again, for something I may or may not have needed. Moral of the story: I have a $2200+ credit card bill at 28.9% int rate. A car with a check engine light on. As well as now I have NO mechanic to trust! read more

Absolute rip-off artists. Have been a customer of this Firestone for approximately 7 years. Just bought a set of 4 new tires for around $803. Two weeks later I got a flat tire. Took my car to Firestone and was told that since I didn't purchase "protection," which I don't recall being offered, a new tire would cost $280. Thought a 2-week old tire would have some kind of warranty but must have been wrong. Will pay off my bill for the new tires and never go back. One would think that in difficult times like these, the store would have been a little more helpful and compassionate but I guess the almighty dollar is more important. If you enjoy your time, and care about your life, do NOT go to this Firestone. Service is extremely slow. I took my car to have a tire checked, and ended up having to replace the dawn tire. It took them more than 3 HOURS to fix the thing. I got there at 11:30 AM and left 2h45PM The service guy gives you an expected time to deliver the service and is unable to honor. It is so aggravating and annoying. I don't like anything in this place. I don't trust this company and feel that they took advantage of me. RUN if you can. Don't waste your time. They are NOT even cheap or anything. Super expensive and truly a waste of time. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and use Pep Boys or ANY other tire service place. My wife hit a curb during a rain storm. Front wheel was damaged and both front and back tires went flat. AAA towed us to this Firestone location. The wheel itself was not able to be repaired. We bought a new wheel to be installed from a 3rd party, and wanted Firestone to install that wheel and sell us 2 new tires. Since they couldn't sell us a marked up wheel of their own, they decided to just put air in the 2 flats and send us on our way. Didn't even put the spare onto the damaged wheel! Mind you, the tires had gashes on them and went flat immediately. They put us in an unsafe vehicle and sent us on our way because we would not buy the wheel from them. Very unsafe and irresponsible. I've been going to Firestone since I got my first car. I've always experienced great service on top of honest recommendations. How do I know this? I get a second opinion/estimate. I came in thinking I had to get new struts and it snowballed into 10 other things I needed to do and 3k+ quote later... with my history with them, i thought maybe it's just time. Luckily, I came to my senses before I swiped my card and called up my second opinion. Ended up being a whopping 200 bucks if I get my own parts (80 bucks!). They could've charged me storage fees and everything, but instead, they lowered the total price of the repair AND let me keep it there for almost 4 months until I was able to get the money. The gentleman quoted me over the phone at $499 when I was thinking "4.99" for spark plugs considering you can get some for cheap. $136 for 6 spark plugs and $300 for labor. This place is a joke. I was visiting my family in Dallas and one of their very old yet most dependable cars had some issues. Since I was leaving town soon, I needed to find service that was affordable and immediate. Made some random calls based on location and availability using Yelp and ended heading to Firestone. David who was managing the store was extremely helpful and showed interest towards my needs. He was able to quickly get me in for service. Total wait time once I got to Firestone was actually less than 5 mins. Perhaps I got lucky this day but I definitely appreciated his honesty that I would have to wait 45 mins before arriving to the service station. I made an appointment for a timing belt, but when I got there, was informed that the only technician who could do the repair was not there. So I made an appointment for the next week. When I got there, the same thing happened! I rearranged my and my mother's schedule for this, two weeks in a row, because it's a 6 or 7 hour repair job, and still haven't gotten anything done. Great great great experience! I had bought tires a few years ago from Firestone, the 60K set and had about 25% of tread left on them when one of the tires fell victim to a razor blade. Common? One wouldn't think so but the tire guy said a tire taking a straight blade isn't uncommon.. which I find weird. Never known anyone or seen anyone dump blades on the street. BUT that aside, I was given a credit for the remainder of my tread bringing the price down over $500, which helped pay for a new set of 60K. Let me tell you - it's amazing how different a car rides with nice new tires.. almost feels like a new car. Almost. :) If you need to wait for your car, this location is next door/across the street from several paces to eat and a shopping strip. From the start they were trying to sell me things I didn't need, should've known better than to have my car taken here. They totally overcharged me. $600+ dollars for something that should've been between $300-$500, and it would've been more if I hadn't called them out for adding extra charges on that they hadn't told me about over the phone. Guy claimed I had agreed to fees that I never agreed to before bringing the vehicle in and then tried to accuse me of getting out of paying the correct amount. When I got my car back the check engine light was on when it wasn't even on when I dropped the car off. The only reason I left my car there to get fixed is because it would've cost more to have it towed somewhere else; though, I almost wish I had gone ahead and towed it somewhere else if only to keep from giving this location my money.
