I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!

The problem was very obvious, and it was explained with great detail, and should not have taken so long. It was all just excuses. They also added a laundry list of problems they found and inflated the bill. They even made up a problem and tried to quote me $6000+ for repairs. I could buy a new car for this price, this repair is almost more than the value of the car. In the end, I paid $3300+ and I don't believe they did all the work they claimed. They charged me to change one of my fog lights and never did it too. This whole experience proved to me they have no integrity and make stuff up to suck as much money as possible out of the customer. They all had guilty smiles on when I was in their office paying. They tried to get me to pay for a large, non-critical repair. Going by the experience I had, I am suspicious they may have left things "loose" to create a car problem down the road. The car still has a rattle in it, and this was the reason I brought it in. In the end, I had to wait a week, waste money using Ubers, lied to, bill inflated, did not do all the work they listed, and possibly sabotaged my car to have failure later. This car is pretty new. I have been very gentle with it and always do regular maintenance. The car only has 70k miles on it. They essentially tried to con me. I am posting this so others can see what sort of tactics they use. I will be using a different mechanic and I am going to have this mechanic shop do an examination of the car. The car is fairly new. It should not have all these problems. Either they lied or created them and tried to suck $6000+ from me. Even the $3300+ I paid was ridiculous. EDIT: I am probably going to do a chargeback because I believe they frauded me. My car is worse off since they touched it. I came in for something that was more of a "noise inconvenience", not a major repair. When they came back to me and named a list of repairs, I agreed because I figured the car would be immaculate. This is not the case. My car is worse. They wanted to upsell me on more repairs and I declined. The noise is worse, I hear parts rattling. I am nervous now about my tire coming off the axle or some other major malfunction and it causing me to get in a major wreck. I know they will try to blame me. But you can simply check the miles when I went into their shop and the current miles it has now. Not even 500 miles have been put on it since. All local driving. It is also obvious they did not do all the work they claimed. I wish I never allowed them to touch my car because now it feels broken. The car was fine before.

This is to CORRECT/ AMMEND my previous 1 Star Rating on Dec 29th…read more The manager reached out to me regarding my previous experience on 29 Dec and after talking with her for the better part of 30-40 mins she graciously offered to refund the $75 diagnostics fee, and perform the engine & cabin filter replacement at NO charge. I explained to her all I wanted were the filters changed and the coolant leak diagnosed, and after she reviewed the phone call between the tech and myself she agreed there was a lot to be desired from a customer standpoint and simply wanted an opportunity to "fix it". Never one to want to see anyone reprimanded, suspended or worse, lose their job I simply asked moving forward for the techs to listen to what the customer is asking for, and execute. I understand all the other checks and services offered, but all I wanted were the filters replaced and the coolant leak diagnosed. She agreed and asked for the opportunity to replace the engine & cabin filters first thing Friday morning (Jan 2), which was done quickly and effectively. And to that I say THANK YOU! I will be back to service my other vehicles in the future moving forward.

Kate was extremely helpful on the phone and explained everything they were doing and walked me through the pricing. They replaced my hose with an aluminum hose so that the rubber part wouldn't fail and the same thing wouldn't happen. They did my oil change & I will be taking my car back soon for them to look at my AC. I picked this shop based on reviews, and I felt it only fair to talk about my experience as someone who isn't a car guy and has a hard time picking mechanics other than a dealership. If the vibration disappears on right turns, it's the wheel bearing - not the differential. When I questioned their diagnosis, the staff became aggressive. One mechanic got inches from my face like he wanted to fight, another threw my keys across the counter, and I was cursed at as I left. Totally unsafe, unprofessional, and hostile. Avoid this shop at all costs.
