Hands down the best place! For all you new folks looking for a new Tech. I'm not a Texas native, as I assume one of the biggest worries moving to a new area is having to find a new Doctor and Mechanic in your new area you can trust and won't bullshit you. Where I came from I had every person you needed, a phone call away. Never had a worry about anything. Well after searching for 2 weeks, I came across Japanese Auto Works. I spoke to Chris, and with my lack of knowledge and more so horrible explanation of an issue I had with my sons 2003 Infinity, that no one could figure out what was wrong, let alone how to fix this dam thing. Chris, not only knew what I was talking about, he said he knew how to get it going. He didn't promise anything, but he did say if it can be fixed, I'll get it as good as I can considering how bad my situation was. ( it was bad) After some time, I finally got the message my son's Beater of a car was good to go. Chris, saved my butt! I had put so much money in getting this thing fixed for my son to have something his first year in the Army, that I put myself in a pinch. The Honda dealership near me wanted to replace my oil pan for $1000. They said there was a "seep." I took it to Japanese Autoworks. They found that there was no seep after looking for quite some time. They called and told me that there was nothing to repair or replace. I only had to pay $5 for them to look it over. Great choice for auto repairs if you own a Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru or any Japanese brand. They really know Hondas! For the last four years I've brought my 2002 Honda Civic here for more complex issues that my neighborhood shop hasn't been able to fix. They've solved all of them, and at a fair price. The shop is tucked away in an industrial park and has been there for at least 10 years. Despite the off-the-beaten path location, they're always busy thanks to word of mouth - and therefore an appointment is strongly recommended. New owner Chris started there as a tech. If you own a Honda It's worth chatting him up, as he will quickly wow you with his knowledge of the quirks of each model year.
