From the first phone call, I knew I chose a great place. Diana is so kind on the phone (and in person) she makes sure to communicate clearly in English o en español. I've acquired car knowledge only through owning the ones I've had and it's all been bare minimum. All that to say, I have not felt like she was talking over me. I have not felt like this company is trying to take advantage of me, AT ALL. Unfortunately mechanics have a bad reputation but this company has proven to me that they are honest people. I've had to get an oil change and all of my coils replaced. They tried to see if my car would allow just the second coil being replaced but after starting my car a couple times, my car wanted 1,3 & 4 replaced as well. Anyway, I had to leave my car overnight which it's in an area that didn't give me any anxiety so there was no fear of my car getting vandalized. My car is running good-as-new so I'm def pleased that the problem has been resolved. You are able to buy the parts for your car and they will use those, since that can cut on cost. Those parts will not be under their warranty. I had to get my car fixed asap so I didn't go that route but it's def good info to know if you don't need to get it fixed immediately. My only complaint? That I am unable to interact with the mechanics in the garage. I love chatting with people and making new friends but then again..... this is already the hottest and most humid summer I've experienced in DFW (yall, I work outside as a laborer so I get to stand on this soapbox) The opposite of a complaint now: they offer free candy, cokes & water and also free play on arcade games while you wait. This place is great. I NEVER take my vehicle to a mechanic for repair as I do my only work. However, my A/C was not functioning properly and I was in a time crunch. Called Beas since they are by my office. Diana got me in same day and the work and price was outstanding. Didn't try to sell me a bunch of service I didn't need. So I really wanted to support local small business and find a mechanic I can trust but unfortunately it didn't happen here. I gave them two tries. The first time I went I had a wheel bearing and cv joint replaced. They gave me an alignment for free since I spent so much and I thought that was cool and they did good work. They also did a full synthetic oil change and I found out later that they did not put the appropriate amount in. I had no leaks whatsoever but was short a quart. So I was like ok things happen no biggie I'm just glad I caught it in time. So when I needed some body repair I went in on 11/29 and she took pics and said she would email me. I called on the 12/7 and was told she would tell her daughter and get her to call me back. It's 12/12 and I still haven't heard from them so I am going to go to another company tomorrow and get my body repair done. read more

As part of the claim process, I want to get the inspection and diagnostics of my car for "ASE Certified Shop inspection report". Took the appointment one week in advance. I was told that it will take roughly around 1hr-1.5 hours. Reached on time on Friday(19th Aug 2022 at 10:00 am). But it was a prolonged wait. I finally got out at around 2:10pm only. I was told after 3.5 hours that they are preparing a report. Why such a long wait time? There was only one customer waiting in the lobby. I don't think it was crowded. Moreover if it is taking 3X-4X time for something, at the time of appointment, I should have been told? Moreover in the report they can't print the detailed report. Even a normal engine oil replacement provides a detailed report than what I got here after paying $95. Overall a below average experience. Called the front desk person on 24th Aug 2022. She is stating that as there is no check engine light no detailed diagnostics. Okay why no you told me that there is no check engine light and thus no diagnostics needed? read more

I was always leary of going to Auto repair shops because one way or the other you feel ripped off. I was referred to Beas by my neighbor. The experience has been top notch so far. It is a family owned business and Roberto and Arcelia are really nice people and really know how to take care of their customers. Recently we had a misunderstanding with a repair job, and the calmness and professionalism shown by them and their willingness to step out of their way to help us is the reason we will keep going back to them for all our auto needs. This place was recommended to me by three different friends (wow)! Not only are they friendly, but most importantly they are honest! My check engine light came on and after going to O'Reilleys to get it checked out, the diagnostic could have been a number of things. I brought it into Beas and right away they were able to tell me what was wrong, they even brought out the part that was broken to show me. They told me how much it would be to fix it and even recommended some other things they could do to keep my car running smoothly and safely. However they did not pressure me to do this or tell me it had to be done, it was an honest suggestion that I believe has saved me money in the long run. Since it was going to take a while they offered to drive me home and then come pick me up once they were done. I was very impressed. When I went back to pick up my car they had done a few other things to it free of charge! My overall bill was about $25 cheaper than I had expected, and I'm sure much cheaper than it would have been somewhere else. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing all of my vehicles here in the future. read more

This rating is loooong overdue. I used Bea's to have my car repaired after some nut job cut me off back in the fall of 2013. They were everything you want in an auto repair place - fast, efficient, courteous, professional, honest, and explained everything in a way that someone not super familiar with car stuff can understand. And above all, they repaired it for less than what the insurance company gave me, even though they didn't have to. They even fixed an issue non-related to the accident while they were doing everything else. Not to mention, a few weeks later when I noticed a leak (which turned out to be caused by normal wear and tear, not the accident), they took another look at it free of charge. Great customer service! These guys are very knowledgeable and take their time to explain what's going on with my car in terms I can understand. After my service was complete and I walked in to pick up my car and I was impressed with a couple of guys who were talking about this family owned shop and how they have been customers here for over 14 years. I brought my car in to get a minor amount of body damage fixed. Was told it would take 3 days. I got a call from them saying I needed both set of brakes replaced...wha? I didn't ask for my brakes to be inspected but they said it was urgent for both. I told them to do one set of brakes and fix the body damage. Here 3 months and almost $800 later I take my vehicle in to another repair shop and they said my supposedly urgent other set of brakes had 60% left. Bottom line: don't take your vehicle to this place unless you want them to give you a completely unnecessary brake job. read more

Not the kind of place that will screw you over, which is wonderful. We have had a few different things done here. Some quick, sometimes they have to order parts, and we wait. They will drive you to work and pick you up later to get your car if need be. I've also been able to do split payments before, which is great for when your car effs up when you least expect it! read more

Beas Auto is the only place I'll go to get my car fixed from now on, I've gone to them for a repair Drivers Edge MacArthur quoted me at 1700- Beas got it done for 600! They're honest and take the time to teach you about what's going on with your car (using actual sensors and parts on a little shelf by the front desk!) Took my truck in for a squealing noise which I believed to be related to the belt/pulleys somehow. I explained the exact conditions for the noise to be present/reproduced. After waiting for awhile for a diagnosis I received a call from the service manager who told me the water pump was making a noise and my universal joints were bad. Since I felt the noise was related to the belt, the water pump made sense, so I told them just to replace the water pump. Keep in mind my Tacoma only had about 75k miles(low mileage for a Toyota). I figured I could do the u-joints myself. After waiting another day for the repairs to be done and several hundred dollars later, when I picked up my truck it was making the same noises. I called the shop and told them nothing had changed. The owner told me to bring the truck back in and he would ride with me. Less then 30 seconds later after driving off with the owner in the truck the noise presented itself and he immediately stated the noise was due to the u-joints. The owner stated however that the water pump noise was gone. I told him nothing had changed and the noises remained the same. I was reluctant to have them do the u-joints, but the owner told me they would "take care of me" and that I should talk to his son the shops manager. After being blown off a couple times the "best they could offer me" did not make up for the water pump repair. Less than a month later after the u-joint repair the noise was back. I look under the truck and notice one of the caps to the u-joint had a hole in it and all the grease had leaked out. Also during the u-joint replacement I had them replace a carrier bearing on the driveshaft. The bearing was installed crooked, backwards and upside down(later verified by a different mechanic). When informed of this, the owner stated that the bearing came in crooked and could not be installed straight. The other mechanic loosened the nuts and made it straight. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Late last Fall, I purchased a late-model vehicle from Mr. Beas with the odometer reading on the vehicle 60,000 LESS than the actual mileage. I discovered the fact after finding the 2014 Inspection paper which said the mileage was 177,500 miles. He told me the vehicle had 119,000 miles on it. After police involvement, he finally admitted to changing out the odometer before I purchased the vehicle. Lots of things were wrong with the vehicle. Beware!! read more
