Swiss raclette station
Sepideh Z.

Our waiter was very nice and the staff was too. However, we expected way more than we got for the price that we paid. It's priced per person ($117 for an adult to be exact) and then advertised as an interactive fine dining experience. First, We waited about 20 minute to be seated which was off-putting. While eating, our server and some waiters kept coming by to ask if we were done which took away from being in the experience. We couldn't fully enjoy the food because there was always someone hovering. The "fine" dining experience is more of a mediocre buffet with stations. First station: The charcuterie area was fine but nothing to go crazy over. Second station: I was very excited about the swiss raclette station but still not worth the money. Third station: Salad was pretty good with a few different options. The soups were also in this area, as well. Fourth station: Salmon, veal, roast duck. The salmon was good and the veal was tender but again, nothing too crazy. Fifth station: Meat sweats! Lamb, steak, and chicken. The leg of lamb was roasting by the fire which was cool but it wasn't cooked very well and the seasoning was bland. Final station: dessert was subpar. I expected more from the desserts but I didn't even finish it. However, they had a fruit chocolate fondue area which was nice. Overall, the service was good. Definitely make a reservation well in advance if you choose to go. Valet is complimentary. The buffet is meh and I could've lived without ever going there. For the price, we expected something spectacular and an experience we would never forget but it did not succeed in that area. It was a very underwhelming experience and I think going to an actual Michelin star or straight forward fine dining restaurant would be more worth it and more reminiscent.

Staff was nice and the lodge was very cozy, but I was expecting a fine dining experience (for the price it was asking) instead I got a mediocre buffet. To summarize the experience, the cheese and charcuterie meat was good; but everything that involved cooking was terrible. Staff tried to hype me up by saying that they do this interactive dinning experience... but really it's just a buffet. Would not recommend for the time it takes to get there, the terrible quality of food and the insane price you pay.

Over cooked and without flavor

This was one of the worst experiences of dining in my life. This place is a total rip off. I do not understand why people come here and pay so much money. The food has no flavor. The ambience is very usual. It's like going to glorified Sizzler restaurant. Everything was overcooked. The cold cuts were just coming out of the freezer and then when I complained to the manager Sabrina Royal she totally ignored it.

Finally came back to eat here with my family after 5 years and it did not disappoint. Such a great ambiance and delicious food and service! You're paying for the experience and it's definitely a cool experience if you've never done it before! Order of my meal 1. Cheese plate + charcuterie meats 2. Salad & soups & stews & salmon 3. More cheese 4. Lamb & beef tenderloin 5. More cheese 6. DESSERT Left FULL. All of it was amazing and so good. So excited that we came back here and definitely coming back again.

TLDR: Was highly recommended to me as a "Not to miss" place. As a foodie, I'd say that I'm really happy to have gone once but likely won't go back. This is a super unique all you can eat restaurant with four stations of food found "fireside" (all located next to their own fireplace). $110 per person for adults for food that I thought was ok but not worth the price. The experience is unique though which is why I'm still glad I did it. FOOD: - Station 1 (3.5/5): Warm Swiss Raclette. Wheels of cheese melting by the fireplace onto plates. Table nearby with an assortment of foods to dip in the melted cheese. Mostly meats, house made baguette, small potatoes, pickles, etc - Station 2 (4/5): Kind of a soup and salad station with some meats. Beautiful salads that I wanted to try all of. They also had a pomegranate and maple roast duck, salmon, veal and mushroom soup, and potatoes. - Station 3 (4/5): Meat station! Lamb and steak roasted beautifully by the fire. - Station 4 (4.5/5): Dessert station. Extra 0.5 points because for my birthday they brought out this delicious chocolate frosted cupcake that ended up being my favorite dessert of the entire night. This station was about milk chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel fondue with various desserts to dip into the fondue. They had fresh fruit, cookies, brownies, cake, and more to dip into the chocolate/caramel. -Station 5 (3.5/5): A bonus fifth station! Was a banana old fashioned flambé, burbon brown butter cake with caramel and banana slices on top. Was a little too sweet for me and I wish there was more banana flavor. ENVIRONMENT & AMBIANCE: - Located in the Montage hotel - Huge space with tables found in multiple different rooms by the four fireplaces. - Felt very much like a cabin in the woods from the decor to the fact that you could see horse drawn carriages out the window SERVICE: - Incredible service. Whenever we got up to get a new plate of food, they immediately came in and cleared the plates on our table. We never came back to a table full of used plates from the last station, which was so appreciated. Just make sure you're done before you get up! - Our server was very kind to us and patiently explained how the experience worked - There we're servers at each station who helped carve meat for you or serve you certain dishes. Definitely a high end all you can eat experience. OTHER: - Make a reservation early for an optimal time! Also only available Wednesday - Sunday

We had an incredible meal here just as they were closing for the season. This was a group event so we did not have to pay for it individually. The food was fantastic but you are definitely eating a ski area cafeteria no matter how fancy they tried to decorate the tables. There's plenty of food in it beautiful array, where there is something for everyone to eat. Everything was delicious from the roasted vegetables and raclette to the prime rib and chocolate fondue. This is served buffet style, all you can eat but will run you close to $100 per person. If you have this kind of money to spend you worth it.

That raclette melted cheese served with traditional potatoes, cornichons, grainy French mustard, fresh bread, and more is outstanding. What a way to bring the Alps to Utah! Dinner is served at four differently themed stations and everything was delicious. We just can't stop talking about the raclette cheese station and what a great meal this was. Thank you!

This is a "WOW" food experience. From lunch & après-ski stop transformed into an evening romantic dinner restaurant Each course is made fire side start with melted cheese with a large selection of condiments & sides to pair. Next course is in another room with Stew, veal and trout all made fireside. After that course you go into another room for fire roasted lamb. Delicious flavors and sides the pair. Dessert finale with selection of fondues and s'mores. It is like the theatre experience of deliciousness Lovely selection of wines from around the world. Service was outstanding. Must make reservations. We made reservations 1 month in advance and was given the 8:45pm time slot. We showed up at 8pm (early) and they were able to seat us (table of 5). Definitely a foodie destination stop. If you plan in advance you can have a horse drawn carriage take you for a tour around the area before or after dinner. It makes a magical winter wonderland experience.

This is a uniquely fun dining experience. The restaurant is an upscale buffet that features fireside cooked cuisine. The star of the show is the giant wheel of melting cheese that the servers scrape onto your plate and the endless charcuterie items to go along with it. The salads are gourmet, and I recommend trying every one of them. The stews are decadent and rich. We loved the prime rib and lamb at the slicing station. If you have room left in your stomach, try the flambé s'mores. You will leave happy, cozy, and very full! Expect to spend over $100 per person. Also, the server for our table was very friendly and attentive.

This experience is $90 a person and all you can eat. Typically Buffett style but due to Covid they bring you a little of everything in 4 courses. 1st course and 4th course are by far the best! Charcuterie with raclette cheese heated by the fire and desserts with dipping sauces. The in between courses had a variety's of soups, salads and meats. Honestly we didn't enjoy any of the meats that much. The trout was the best flavor but at first brought out to us very over cooked. We let the waiter know and he brought us a new order of it and it was much better the second time. The other meats and a lot of sides just lacked salt and seasoning. Kinda bland for the price you are paying, so that was a little disappointing. However it was a really nice concept. You can have as much of anything as you like. Just tell the waiter and they bring you out more. The waiter was super nice so it was still an enjoyable experience.

Experience was unique and food was really good. Not sure the price is worth it, especially with kids at $30 or $90 for my 12 year-old.

Service can be slow and the food is unmistakenly Provençal: Beef tartar (nice mustard notes), Saffron Muscles, and Pressed Chicken. All dishes were light and authentic flavors to the region of Provence -- I think we just like other French regions better. HITS: Cocktails; Bread; Poulette (presents as a salad served on pressed chicken) MISSES: The muscles were dry - served in a small puddle of saffron beurre blanc. Service and a remarkable lack of knowledge by our waiter made Le Depot feel more like Le Dope. From the drink menu to the ingredients and preparation of some dishes, the waiter didn't possess some basic knowledge. Maybe we just asked "really hard" questions? The bar for service in PC has been set high by surrounding establishments like Handel, River Horse and Fletcher's, where the waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful .. this was the lasting memory from Le Depot.

Fantastic food and service!…read more We came to La Caille and enjoyed their Valentine's Day special menu, the food was to die for and we immensely enjoyed the wine flight paired by Troy -- who we were lucky enough to have as our waiter this evening. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable, he was even kind enough to give us a tour after our meal. We also had the pleasure of meeting Meg and Zane this evening, they were so professional and lovely to talk to. Matt in valet was so helpful when our Uber couldn't find its way to us at the end of the night. The food and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for in a romantic evening, but the people at La Caille put the experience over the top and I wish I could give more stars. We just liked being there with them, which is such a rare experience when you're going out to dinner. Can't wait to come back to learn more about and experience this place. Thank you!

I had done my research ahead of time otherwise it wasn't clear that there is no self parking options-only valet parking. The grounds and property are beautiful and we enjoyed some photos ahead of brunch. Our group was seated in a semi-private room and the service was impeccable. However - the food... was sadly lackluster and overpriced. I had the chateau breakfast for $39 which included eggs to order, ham (my protein choice), breakfast potatoes and a small slice of crème brûlée French toast. The highlight for me was the potatoes. The ham super dry, the eggs undercooked(I ordered over medium and they were like a sunny side up consistency), and the French toast felt like eating sand without much flavor. Thankfully the "complimentary" croissants were delicious and fresh. Aside from the company I was with, the ambiance and service - I do not recommend nor would I return.
