Had a great experience buying our fireplace doors here. We tried another bigger more famous place but struggled to get help on a busy Saturday afternoon. But we came here and the people were very helpful and we had our new doors picked out in no time. Believe it or not there are many options to choose from. The owner came out to our house to measure so there was no chance we would mess it up. We were told the doors would be delivered in about 4 weeks but they came in well before that. The cost to install was so reasonable there's no point in trying to do it yourself. Pricing was very competitive and the doors are of high quality. I bought a fireplace insert from fireplace Etc three years ago, when we bought it we went to several different stores, we told them what we were looking for, they listened to us and sold us this insert. We have been extremely happy with the insert and fireplace etc. About a couple or weeks ago we were having trouble with our fireplace insert, I called fireplace etc to have someone come out, they set up a appointment with me. They were early for the appointment, nick the owner was the service man, he cleaned the fireplace and made a couple of adjustments and my fireplace is working great. I cannot say enough good things about Fireplace Etc, they came when they said they would they fixed my fireplace, they were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I had to write a review about Nick from Fireplace, etc. in Milford, Ct. My gas insert in my fireplace stopped working. The pilot light would not stay lit. I called a fireplace store in my local area and set up an appointment to have them check my unit. The person came in, looked at the unit, in 2 seconds, he said the unit was all rusted out and nothing could be done. He never tried to light the pilot light. He said, I needed to replace it. The cost $2500. This didn't sound right to me. He never took the unit apart, just looked at it. I called Nick, from Fireplace, etc, who previously made me a gorgeous fireplace glass enclosure, and asked him to check my unit. He cleaned the pilot assembly and immediately, the pilot light came on and stayed on!!!!! It literally took Nick five minutes. It cost me $129 vs $2500. Nick is an honest person, with incredible integrity. If you need anything relating to fireplaces, Gas Stoves, etc - Nick from Fireplace, etc is the person to call!!!!! read more
