Miscommunication as I was told I needed a new Furnace by one person at the company and another person at the company said I do not need a new furnace. Months later and I still don't have any solution for HVAC issues. They've been at my house multiple times, but have yet to provide any concrete information to fix. The suggestion was to add return registers, which "might" fix the problem. I consulted a different company who suggested I have factual data with a solution to my issues which Ward was not able to provide. After communicating sending a few emails and yet to hear back via phone they stated they are not interested in the job and have declined it. This year, my wife and I were blessed with twins. This also means our expenses caring for a little own are multiplied. While facing a financial hardship, our furnace started leaking dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and we needed a replacement. We couldn't afford the cost of a new own and care for our babies equally. With temperatures on the decline, it was imperative that we replaced it as soon as possible. When Tyler Air Conditioning heard our story, they offered to help. During an extremely difficult and stressful time, they offered to donate their time to help offset the cost of a new furnace. A week before Christmas, my boiler started leaking a bunch of water. I was hoping I could repair it to get us through the holidays. I contacted the company And asked them to come look because it was leaking quite a bit of water; they requested that I send pictures. I sent a picture and without even seeing it in person, they diagnosed it as unfixable and insisted that it needed a full replacing to the tune of nearly $15,000. I was absolutely horrified; I immediately burst into tears and explained it was a week before Christmas. Not only did they not offer financing but they wanted half of that upfront to even get us on the schedule and the rest on the day of installation. I was absolutely floored at the cold and callous nature of the company after being a customer for years. The secretary on the phone initially was fairly rude, but felt bad for me as I was sobbing and said she would call me in the morning with my options and see if we could get creative with financing; never heard back from them ever again. We ended up taking our business elsewhere, getting a cheaper price, and getting very reasonable financing. I have a lot of sympathy for the office at companies like this because I'm sure they get screamed at all day, but I just could not believe how we were treated; asking for 15 K when you didn't even lay eyes on the item is pretty crazy and asking for half of it upfront the week before Christmas is even crazier. They also could not give me any kind of timeframe on how early they could come out to my house and offered zero assistance with the fact that copious amount of water were leaking and how to manage it.
