But after calling the office to talk about everything, we completely changed our minds. Someone picked up the phone, Alicia? maybe.. my daughter in law said the tone on the phone was enough to make us take our business somewhere else. It honestly felt like we were bothering her just by calling and asking questions. We ended up going with another company that was actually more expensive, but the woman who answered the phone was kind and helpful from the start. I'd rather pay more than deal with someone who acts like they hate their job. It's a shame because she said the technicians seemed great, but one bad interaction was enough for her to decide we won't be coming back.

Our house steam boiler in Hamden failed and we needed a new one. Our long time heating contractor…read morehad likely contributed to the boiler cracking by setting it incorrectly so I looked on Yelp and in addition to getting a quote from our current serviceman, asked several others for quotes. Ray quickly responded and not only offered a better price; but seemed to be very knowledgeable about our system. He came to our house and was able to get the old unit working temporarily at no charge and further impressed us with his knowledge. I felt we could trust him and ordered a new boiler from him and also a new gas hot water heater as it was near the end of its life. We put a deposit on the parts and when they arrived he and an assistant installed them. Their assembly work was excellent, he skillfully adjusted the new units and all is now working better than ever. We will use him going forward and highly reccomend him. TR

He was very thorough in checking to make sure all areas of our unit(s) were in good working order and through exploration, was able to locate the broken part, replace it, and get our unit back in working condition.
