The price of there food keeps going up. Yes, the food is good. So good that I prefer it over subway. When you spend 50 dollars for 3 medium meals and one of them has chili that's pushing my budget. When asked to add a little cheese to the chili the lady looks right at me and says that cost more. Really for a little cheese. I then read there menu and nothing says they charge for cheese on the chili. That to me is poor business in a time of ridiculous inflation prices. Shame on them for something so minor when there prices are super high. read more

The only thing that was good on our visit is the coke machine. Subs were all made wrong even after the staff remade one of them. Still made wrong. If I am spending 4o bucks for my family of 4 to eat. I would like to have at least 1 person leave feeling happy and satisfied. Yet, that didn't occur this evening for us. SAVE YOUR MONEY & AVOID this place. I never complain however, our food was so bad I will be personally emailing the businness. Please have your staff understand the subs they are making. One sub was the New York steamer. It had zero dressing tons of mayo :( and no mustard. In fact even sandwiches ordered with no mayo had mayo on both sides. The smokehouse brisket meat has good flavor the sub came with next to no BBQ sauce. The salad lettuce is wilted. Very very nasty. As if the side salad had been sitting pre-made for a week. read more

We took our grandsons for a last day of school lunch to Firehouse subs. This is our favorite sandwich place, by far. Fantastic subs that can be customized with many ingredients. Prices are great, food is fresh and tasty, service is always friendly ! Hook and Ladder is probably my favorite, but all of the sandwiches are great. Make sure to sign up for the "club" and they have a great App to install on your phone. Firehouse beats all the "usual" sub sandwich fast food outlets. I went in yesterday for a late lunch, mid afternoon. I was the only customer in there. When I went to the counter, I noticed no plexiglas shield LIKE EVERY OTHER RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT IN TOWN at the cash register, the woman at the counter had no mask and no gloves LIKE EVERY OTHER FOOD PLACE IN TOWN. That made me realize that, even though they make a good sandwich, and I go there probably once a month, I would not be ordering any food there until that changes. Oh, and on my way out, even though there were NO CUSTOMERS in the place, I saw that there were at least two tables with scraps of shredded lettuce on them which tells me they had NOT cleaned and sanitized them which in this time of protecting the customer and themselves, it wasn't high on the priority list. I had a great experience at this location. I was honestly a little discouraged by the negative reviews but I decided to stop in anyways and I'm glad I did. I went on a Monday afternoon and the first thing I noticed was the greeting as soon as I walked in :) friendly staff. The guy making the sandwiches even greeted a couple people by name which is always nice. I got the turkey, bacon, ranch and it was delicious. The bread was nice and soft and the sandwich was perfectly put together. I love that you get a pickle on the side! Also they have a pretty nice selection of chips which is awesome. Nice clean tables, the outside patio was also clean. Only thing I would say is that for the size of the subs it's a tiny but pricey but not too crazy. Would definitely be back. read more

The experience here is more attributed to the staff on duty. They had a gal working the counter that appeared to have a disability but did a fantastic job. The females there were very mean to her and even laughed about it a few times. I had to leave before I made a scene. The subs were not good. My husband ordered the steak and beer cheese sub and it had about 2 ounces of meat on it. I ordered the italian sub and it was ham and a piece of pepperoni, I think. The gal slammed it down in front of me, I said thank you and she just walked off, said nothing. We will not be back and I hope the owners check up on these employees. read more

Love this place, the cheddar smokehouse with their signature sauce is the best, a little $$ for just a sandwich but it's oh so good.

2 adults, friday night, 6 pm, not busy, ordering slow, only one cashier, tables were not clean, doing maintenance on the coke machine, only medium prices posted, yet cashier tried to upsell to a large. Cashier asked if we wanted a pickle, feels like cost saving, other store just gave us a pickle spear. Wife thought the woman cashier was kind of rude. One combo, one just the sandwich, Have been to other Firehouse around town, positive experiences. Been waiting for this one cause it is close to where we live. The amount of meat is much less here than we had at another Firehouse. After eating a whole sub, did not feel full. No compelling reason to come back. read more

I'm not really sure what it is that the other comments left here are really talking about let me tell you one thing this place is great if you're just looking for a tiny snack super overpriced the sandwiches themselves are tasty but super over price you're paying about 9 to $11 depending on the sandwich to get what you see on the picture if you decide to get double meat it's $3 more which to me it's outrageous when you should be already giving while you portray on your menu the place is very cool to go look at if you're looking for a change of scenery but given the other options that you have around being way more affordable and tastier I go with Peter Piper Red Lobster or even subway because at least at Subway you'll be full once you eat your meal something they truly need to work on its being faster at making the sandwiches when we were there and there was literally three other couples in the joint two of them already had their food and it still took over 30 minutes for us together subs... subs for goodness sakes not a steak meal tops we shouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for something to come out plus the people that take your order act like you should know what you're getting excuse me but this is a new restaurant and I'm not even sure what I'm going to get please don't rush me when I'm trying to place my order oh yeah and then they offer you to change your side without telling you that an extra charge to change them you go to subway and you choose a soup over your chips there might be iffy but they let you know going here was the worst experience I would change my review if I have a better experience 6 months from now when I decide to go again and waste yet again $30 to feed a family of 3 at a fast food restaurant!!!! read more

We love this place! Working our way through the menu. Delicious! They strive for customer satisfaction for sure.

We were greeted 30 minutes before closing time with rolled eyes from a spunky little girl who couldn't get customer service right if it hit her in the face. The second teeny bop, maybe the shift manager, came to take our order. She got the job done but again with an attitude. Food done...spunky Brewster handed it to me in a paper bag as if we were taking it to go. Already told the lady that took the order we'd be dining in. Spunky made it clear that we should leave as they close in 15 minutes. I said no, we're eating here and we won't keep you a second beyond your closing time. An audible millennial ugh from her and rolled her eyes again. We sat, ate our cold food that should have been hot and left five minutes before closing time. The teenagers at the table with me were more respectable than the three girls manning the restaurant that evening. Horrible display of Firehouse taste and Firehouse virtues. read more

We went in when it wasn't busy. The store was very clean and the staff greeted us when we walked in and were pleasant. We ordered a 6" cold Italian sandwich. It was good, but nothing special. I thought $10 was a bit expensive though. I'd give a 3-1/2 star. read more

Saw a commercial and have been wanting to try this - was glad when they opened in the Spectrum Plaza. We ordered the Hook and Ladder classic and the Smokehouse Brisket. Subs arrived to the table hot, piled with meat, and exactly as ordered (we made some changes to the condiments). Half my sub filled me up and I took the rest for lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and stopped by the table a couple of times to check on the food and to carry away the empty baskets. Yes, you'll pay a little more than Subway, but you're getting real meat - not formed and processed stuff - and the medium sub is a couple of inches bigger. We did have to wait a bit for the sandwiches to come out, but it was definitely worth it. We will be back to try other subs. read more

I had an awful experience here tonight. When I arrived at firehouse subs there was about 5 people sitting down eating and maybe one customer in line. My friend and I ordered our food and waited almost 20 minutes for it to arrive and when the food arrived it was not what I had ordered. When I brought the sandwich back to the counter I told them why it was wrong and explained exactly what I wanted. they said it was unintentional and was someone else's food and mine would be out shortly. At this point we were going to be late to our destination and had the sandwiches wrapped Togo so we could eat them in the car. Upon opening our sandwiches not ONLY was my sandwhich wrong again, but my friends was as well. My friend asked for all the dressings for her Italian sandwhich on the side and it was completely drenched. In addition to this the bread on both sandwhiches was so unappetizingly soggy we ended up not even eating our meal. Overall a horrible experience and will not be going back. read more
