Well, I enjoy their food. It's not exactly the pinnacle of wings. My fries were a little soggy, and my wings were a little overcooked. I did very much enjoy the service. Everybody was friendly and it was very fast. The ambience fit the environment. read more

Checked out Flap & Racks on Valencia and honestly really liked it. The wings were legit. Super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and great flavor. Mid-meal the soda machine ran out of Coke Zero, but the worker swapped out the syrup box right away so I could get a fresh refill without any hassle. Good food and surprisingly awesome service for a casual spot. Will definitely be back. read more

Got a to-go order. The wings and fries were good. I got mango habanero flavor which was tasty. Online ordering was straightforward and easy!

FOOD - Half Rack Ribs & 4 Bone In -- Ribs: we chose the BBQ chiltepin sauce. The meat was very tender and the sauce was good. I like how they cut up the ribs. It made for easier eating. 4.5/5 -- Wings: we went with mango habanero. Sweet but spicy, topped with chopped mango. 4.5/5 - Chicken Sandwich with a side of Mac salad -- Chicken Sandwich. Your choice of grilled or fried chicken. I always go fried. Someone said this was the best chicken sandwich they've ever had so I had to order it. It was good but definitely not the best I've had. It's like a step up from your school lunch chicken patty sandwich. 3.75/5 -- Mac salad: pretty good. 4/5 SERVICE: Fast and friendly. The young lady at the register was welcoming and patient. 5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would definitely come back. The food was good and the price and service were great. read more

Fast, hot, fresh food. Order at the counter, then find a seat. I love their sweet potato fries. I love that they have a little crunch and are not soggy. I Got the Parmesan wings again today, delicious! I also tried the onion rings this time and they were good as well. read more

I had the grilled chicken sandwich and chicken was juicy. It was served with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and I requested to hold the onion. They have tons of flavors of sauces for the wings. My coworker shared a rib and it was delicious. If you are a chicken or rib lover, this is a nice casual spot. read more

Extremely friendly staff, & everyone seems to enjoy their jobs. Upon entering you're hit with a delicious smell from the kitchen thats preparing some amazing flavorful wings. With many flavors to choose from, although I wishes they offered a dry rub. The 4 piece fish & fish hit the spot, so happy they offer sweet potato fries cut thin hot & fresh. Next rime the pork belly is a must read more

Honestly, there are some really well done things here, and i'd say the style, presentation and decor are the more superior, to be perfectly honest. The food is good, and unfortunately I can't say it's the best I've had, but they do a generously great job, overall. Let's jump back to the decor... This place is an absolute museum of all things 'airport' style. Runway lights, pictures, airline chairs, imagery everywhere, trashcans repurposed, etc.etc.. VERY well done visually and all in my party agreed they did a phenomenal job at this. The food was good, but just not outstanding. I hate to say that but it didn't differentiate from most any other 'wing' joint; and I was truly expecting succulent, large, full flavored wings. Did't see that. They were good, not memorable. Will definitely have to go back and try it again as one visit is just not a fair representation IMO. But again, enjoyable, hot, endless drinks and smiling Wait Staff. The restaurant was very clean and extremely appealing visually. The menu was pretty full and varied - which I like to see. I wished we coulda' had some drinks to enjoy the meal more but we were famished and just focused on the food as we had no spare time socially. I commend the design of the restaurant and will have to go back for a second try. I appreciated the point of discounts at check out so that is a plus! Additionally, I want to recognize a review by Eric D from 2023 that I think gave a good representation on the Korean Short Ribs... Please check out his review. read more

We were in town of a soccer tournament and after a long day my son was craving some BBQ. A quick Yelp search led us here. The place is tucked away in a nondescript location. There is plenty of seating, but the place is busy so you'll probably have to stand for a bit before grabbing a table. There are plenty of tvs to catch a game. We went with the pork belly, buffalo wings, and Korean BBQ ribs. The pork belly was very chewy, it really took some work. Not our favorite of the three. The wings were well cooked and had a nice spice, flavorful but not hot. These were solid wings... They didn't stand out as the best ever, but we enjoyed them and would get them again. The Korean BBQ ribs... Five stars all around. Cooked perfectly, super tender. The sauce was perfect. Balanced, tasty, and oh so good! read more

Food here really wasn't all that. Korean BBQ Ribs were tasty. However, sweet potato fries were burnt; Corn over-season, not fresh & over cooked. Onion Rings were great! Boneless Chicken Parmesan wings good. $40+ table. Would I be back? Only for Ribs/Rings, maybe. Just so many options in Tucson, mediocre isn't really good enough. read more

Food and service always great. Atmosphere is lively and casual. Wings are wet sauced - no dry rubs - topped with real fruits or meats - this really separates this wing place from the competition! I like most flavors but wish the chorizo was more well done as I prefer it almost burnt and crunchy. Tried a flavor-of-the month, Spicy Colada, which was basically mango habanero but with less heat and topped with coconut flakes - very good. read more

I went about a year ago with my son and I thought it was good, but not mind blowing exactly? If that makes sense. Would've given it 4 stars then. Today was..... Ugh. My girlfriend and I had the sampler and I had spicy BBQ and garlic Parmesan wings. The spicy BBQ was fine, but not earth shattering. The garlic parm was bland. The fries were great, again, but the only thing really that good. The Mac and cheese balls tasted like bad Kraft Mac. There was something else we had that tasted straight out the box from Restaurant Depot. Wholly disappointed and shan't be returning. The food was that bad. I am really sad. I wanted to like here. It's also worth noting that the service is really below average. None of the employees seem super interested in being helpful or making the experience positive. read more

Every time I've been here it's been delicious. It's more on the heavy side but it's a meal for once in a while for sure. You have to try the ribs and flying fries! The ribs can be order in a variety of flavors. Don't forget to order more ranch they never give enough for the amount of food they serve, the portion ratio is off in my opinion. read more

Great service and delicious pork belly! It's a really cool place inside and they have an extensive menu. The pork belly came with 6 big pieces and some dipping sauce of your choice. I recommend both the bbq and the chiltepin bbq. The later had a good vinegar bit to it, which reminded me a little of the Carolinas. It's attached to an açaí bowl place which confused me at first (because they currently have to share a door). I can't wait to go back and try the wings and some of the other things on the menu. read more

Flaps and Racks - My leftover pork belly. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Cool concept, love that they have repurposed airline seats and galley carts around the restaurant. I had the pork belly, which was delicious, but for $13 I firmly believe this should come with a side, even if it's just fries. Luckily I was able to steal some fries from my mom's fish platter. Fries were solid, and the cod was seasoned really well also. This is an order at the counter and seat yourself establishment, but the food runners were in top of it, and willing to bring extra sides/sauces upon request. Will try to come back and try the wings and ribs next time. read more

Fun place! Airport themed Korean-style (pork) ribs and wings. The place was immaculately clean, there was someone cleaning tables, etc constantly. Ribs were a little fatty, but that is Korean ribs. Quantities were substantial (see photos). I am a big eater, but could barely finish my 1/2 rack and 4 wings. The fries are great, I had the sweet potato and they were perfect. Highly recommended for happy hour or lunch near the airport. read more

Hungry after a flight pick up we decided to try this place on a Sunday mid afternoon. I was surprised at how busy it was given the time of day. Average wing and fry place near the Tucson airport. They were out of the baked potatoes before 6:30pm on a Friday. They do have unique wing flavors, fast service, and a clean seating area if you're looking for a quick lunch spot alternative to fast food in the area. read more

We came here on a week day night and the place was pretty full. Upon arrival you go to the front and place your order an then they bring the food to you. The atmosphere is welcoming and has tables and table tops. Note that the portion sizes are HUGE. I ordered the sweet potato fries and it was a bucket. They were really good but just a lot. I had the beef brisket and also we got the pork bellies and they were some of the best I have had. My friend got the wings and they were large wings. They also have a few craft beers on tap. Would come back! read more

We stopped by here last Friday for our first time. The place was very busy which of course a good sign. The lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful. Since it was happy hour I got an order of onion rings and my wife got the corn ribs. We both got the combo of wings and ribs. onion rings were good, but needed a little bit of salt on them to bring out the flavor. Wife enjoyed the corn ribs. The combo came four pieces of Wings and a half a rack of ribs plus Fries. Lots of food. Ribs were very tasty and tender as well as the wings. We will be back to try again read more

Came here the other night on a whim, and glad we did! Nice draft list, lots of sauce options, and great options for sides! Honestly, my favorite thing I had was the pork belly and sweet potato fries. The wings were good but honestly I enjoyed the pork belly better. I did like the fact that they have chorizo grounds mixed intro heir chorizo sauce. Next time I would love to try their Al pastor wing sauce, and I would also ask for their wings well done. read more

The place was busy which is a good thing. Wings ordered extra crispy, flavors were hot and green chili. Husband loved the pork belly, ordered with a side of al pastor sauce. Sauce was a 3 out of 10. Pork was best plain. Manager was very nice and watching over the whole place. Employees were friendly. Definitely go again for the wings and belly. read more

I really wish this place was closer to me because it is so good! I pick somebody up from the airport today in the middle of the day, so it was a perfect time to be able to visit flaps and racks since I'm usually at the airport too early in the morning for them to be open. We got a 12 pack of wings with traditional buffalo, garlic, Parmesan, and lime pepper. And as I mentioned before, the wings are really good. Today, I also bought some corn ribs, which were half off during happy hour. You can also get these corn cob sections tossed in any of their wing sauces. I got them in the lime pepper sauce, but asked for a side of the green chili sauce. Since I hadn't had it before I was afraid to ruin something I usually love but let me tell you this that green chili sauce was ! It tasted just like the green chili stew that we get at one of our favorite restaurants in New Mexico, but all in a concentrated ramekin size cup that we poured over the corn. My BF loved it so much he couldn't stop eating it to finish our conversation. He actually said he wanted to come back again over the weekend even though it's a cross town drive read more

Looking for a place to grab dinner with my teen son this place came highly recommended from the ladies at the front desk at our hotel. Since it was right across the street and had great reviews we were all in! Obviously a favorite with locals it was pretty crowded early evening on. Sunday- always a good sign! Service is order at the counter and brought to you. Everyone was super friendly and appreciated the sauce suggestions from the guy we ordered from. We had boneless chicken, pork belly, onion rings, and fries. All were tasty and the sauces were delish too. Cute airport/airplane decor, decent prices. Flaps and Racks - Hamburger Sweet Potato Fries and 6 Bone in Wings - Chicken Wings Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Found found this by all the good Yelp reviews. It was also very close to where I was staying. The staff was friendly and courteous. It is casual, but very crowded and busy, at least when I went. It was a Thursday evening at around six. There were no tables available, and people were lined up along the walls, waiting for a table to vacate. The rest of us, gave up, and just took our food to go. I tried the mango habanero wings, as well as the garlic parmesan wings. Both were excellent. We also tried the mozzarella sticks, which were really good. In the future, I would just call ahead with my order and just come and pick it up without having to wait in such a crowded place. read more

Took a trip to Tucson and I will just say that the food is the best part of the trip! Flaps and Racks was the highlight - I mean just look at those photos. Menu has a wide selection of items and such innovative sauces for the wings. I got the chorizo pork belly, garlic Parmesan & buffalo wings and the appetizer sampler. Everything was so good and i loved it all. Pork belly is tender and great flavoring. Appetizers were all mouth watering and my fav would have to be the corns. Service was super nice and everything came fast. But the best item is how amazingly decorated the restaurant is in theme with airport. Bright colors and the seating is airplane seat! I love it overall and this is kind of an iconic must need to visit place while in Tucson. read more

Been wanting to try Flaps and Racks for a while now and finally made our way there. It looks small from the outside but is actually a pretty decent sized place. But let me tell you - this place gets BUSY! When we arrived and placed our order at the counter, there was only ONE table left in the whole joint but tables empty out pretty quickly so don't fret if you don't see a seat.....you'll have one in no time. We ordered a half rack of ribs with a chiltepin BBQ sauce and they were delicious! Also ordered a dozen bone-in wings, half lime-pepper and half mild Buffalo as well as some deep fried mac 'n cheese bites. I'm a huge fan of lemon-pepper wings but LOVED the lime-pepper. The flavor is great and the wings were cooked perfectly. My guy had the Buffalo (I don't enjoy that flavor) and he said they were great. As for the mac 'n cheese bites, he loved them (I don't like mac 'n cheese except Kraft - LOL - so I didn't taste them. Reasonable pricing, fast service and the staff that comes around to the tables delivering orders and taking dirty dishes away are wonderful and very friendly. There is an acai place inside too - Acai Paradise - and you can bet I'll try some of that goodness next time! read more

I walked down the street to grab a bite to eat while waiting on my car at Safelite. My expectations were low going in. But, I was pleasantly surprised.
