Five stars not just because I had a terrific sandwich but also because the gent who rang up my order is the general manager (his name was on the door) and he honored my "free" sub coupon from very far away. Restaurant is clean and well kept. The Coke Freestyle machine was tidy and the array of hot sauces had lots of choice, even if all I did was add some Sriracha to my yummy Steak and Cheese.

There is mayonnaise and onions that we did not order

We went to show our family member firehouse subs for the first time. As soon as we left, little did we know that we would have a health issue on our hands. One of the members in our party is extremely allergic to mayonnaise. She was given a sandwich with not only mayo but also added onions that was not apart of her food request. We are thankful she checked her food before she ate, or she would've had to be shipped off to the hospital. Also, the three kids meals we ordered did not come with their side of a rice krispy treat. I am very disappointed to say the least. I love a good firefighter as much as the next gal, but this was a no from me.

Very friendly service and delicious subs and salads. I love the Hook & Ladder best! Great place for the family to grab a bite to eat.

I just want to give a shout out to DJ. My husband placed an order through DoorDash and asked if…read morethey could switch out the turkey for Chicken, as they don't give this option through DoorDash. He was really nice and said it would be no problem. We've had issues with this prior from another lady who works here. She's always rude about it when we've asked, and even went as far as saying that we can make those changes (even though we've tried numerous times to do so). We really appreciate DJ for providing great customer service. We were close to not ordering here anymore because of the other gal, but we're glad to know that someone else answered and was really nice.

Firehouse Subs Missing order…read more On November 24th, my wife walked into Firehouse Subs to pick up an order she had placed on the Firehouse website. Our food was not there. We found out that DoorDash had picked it up and delivered it to their customer. We found this out because the customer had called us, rather than rectifying the situation. The manager at Firehouse refused to remake our food or issue a refund. He told her there was nothing he could do and that she should request a refund online. This compounded the incident with poor customer service. We immediately notified Firehouse Subs about the issue. Jessica was quick to respond. However, she also said there was nothing that she could do as the store's POS system processed our payment. We therefore would have to get the refund from the store. Jessica added that she would forward the information to the store's ownership and management. It's been months, with no communication from the store. They took our money and did not provide us with food. That is theft. And to add insult to injury, their customer service was horrendous. We had already taken the matter up with management on site at the time, and do not wish to waste any more of our time. Sixty dollars is not much to us. But to others, it may be a lot. The reason why I am writing this review is the principle of this matter. What they did is wrong. According to feedingamerica.org, 20% of Americans are living with food insecurity. I said that $60 is not significant to me. However, for the 1 in 5 that it is, I am leaving this review. I can understand you wanting a swift resolution, and this is not the experience we want for our fans. Unfortunately, I do not have a time frame for when they will contact you, but I have updated your case and it has been escalated to the restaurant management team. I have also requested that they follow up with you about this as quickly as possible. I have also alerted the store manager, letting them know that you still have not heard from the store yet. The leadership will try to contact you through your cell number, so please look out for unknown number calls that you might receive.   For the quickest resolution, I recommend you contact the store directly as they have the tools to resolve these issues.
