This is the second time I've felt the need to leave a review for customer service at the Middle Creek Rd Firehouse Subs in Sevierville. On July 10, we placed a single sandwich order online and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. The employee at the window took our name and told us she'd be right back--but after a long wait with no communication, we circled the building and tried the drive-thru again. The dining area had only one customer, but still, we waited again. When she finally returned to the window, she asked how she could help--forgetting that we were already waiting on an existing order. I'm not sure if this was due to being short-staffed or simply an off day, but it was disappointing. I hope the franchise owner will take the time to support their team with better training and communication. Listening to employees and addressing operational challenges could go a long way in improving the experience for customers--and for those working hard behind the counter. read more

I never had Firehouse Subs until I moved to the area, and I have to say, it's a LOT better than other sandwich places. Mostly because, the veggies are sautéed for any kind of sandwich you get and their variety of sauces, more specifically, the "Captain Sorensen's Datil Pepper Hot Sauce," which I love so so much. Now, it's available to purchase & yes, I recently purchase a 16 oz bottle ~ $8. Firehouse Subs's profit are donated to the local Fire Department--that's cool and never came across any restaurant who collected their profits and donated it to Fire Dept. I've been to Firehouse Subs more times than I should and I'm just reporting back to Yelp. ‍ It's just so dang good! Here at 7:55 they close at 9 as always they close early my second time trying to bring my business to this place I work a lot so I tend to eat later then usual but for a company to not be able to keep your store open and running the two times I try to come order food is diabolical running adds left and right online but can't keep the store open to sell the promoted food the Owner needs to step up or step down this place is a bad example 7 employees inside two sitting down on phone and the rest where all mopping the same floor not one thought to open the door and explain why there store never closes the time it should or says online no respect for guest that keep the store running and paying there employees read more

Driving from Gatlinburg back to Nashville and stopped here for a quick bite to eat for dinner. It a little off the road, but you can see it from the main road. Plenty of parking. This place is very clean and following. COVID protocols. I had a large Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich and the Jalapeño chips. Always a great meal, Firehouse never disappoints! Food was all made properly except for one sandwich but I think I just don't care for this chains food. Twice, while moving to Sevierville and having yet to unpack my kitchen, I ordered to go thru Door Dash. Both times the driver had to sit and wait as the food was still not ready after the time estimated on the app. One time the driver left, which I totally understood, and another driver came later for the pickup. This location is simply too slow. 40 minutes to make a sandwich, during an off peak hour, seems silly. Maybe they are understaffed?? The meatball sub is just ok. I've had it before and thought it was good years ago but didnt care for it this time. The chili is just not good. The loaded potato soup had a mealy frozen potato texture that was grainy. The mac and cheese was just ok, but not good. The celebration sugar cookie was hard and not good. The brownie and the chocolate chip cookies were good. And really strange, but both times, their entree salads were large and REALLY good. Like as in, I crave their salad. Maybe its the honey mustard dressing. Their salads are simple with chopped up lunch meat on them. But yummy! I also ordered a tuna sandwich. I asked for no deli mustard and cheese, bcuz I thought thats just strange. But the sandwich arrived plain, no lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, etc. And it was the saddest smear of tuna salad I've ever seen on a roll. Definitely didnt match the menu photo. The young gentleman who greeted me at the window was so polite and sweet! I ended up having to pull forward and wait a bit, and the other young gentleman that brought my food out was also extremely polite and apologetic for my wait. I was waiting for for food( fries). Comes out from the back and stops the buzzard for the fries are done. Cuts it own and walks to the back. Haley left the fries in the basket. I'm standing at the register, she walks right past me to the back. After 10 minutes I go ask her if my fries are ready. She says, oh yes, I'm sorry. I said just give me my money back. Upon entering this location you will notice how well kept this location is and how friendly the staff are. The times I've been there they were slightly busy but the customer service did not lack. The hook and ladder is my go to choice at this sandwich chain. I don't remember what is on this sandwich but it is full of meat and cheese. What more should I say? The few time I have visited they have completed my order fast and accurately. As a chain they should work on their children's menu selections. They are severely lacking. We do not allow the little one soda so with his meal he gets water i.e. they don't have milk. In addition they lack healthy options for him in leu of the small rice crispy treat. They desperately need to expand the healthy options for example apples or carrot sticks or another fruit - not cup of fruit. read more

Had a take out order from here and ordered the veggie sandwich which comes with cheese, lettuce, onion, Caramelized onions, caramelized peppers, mushrooms, tomato, deli mustard, mayo and Italian dressing. I got the onions, peppers and mushrooms taken off only and added cucumbers and pickles to it and all I got was bread, cheese, cucumbers and pickles. I arrived it to Sevierville fire house subs store five minutes before they were closing at teenager came up and lock the door as I was approaching looking me right in the eye as I was trying to open the door. This is not fire house standards I can tell you. I drove up to the window and told him it's still five till he said I'm sorry we're already close I lock the door. On our way to the airport we picked up sandwiches for the long plane ride back home. This was a great option because for $12 it was a huge sandwich and came in great packaging for travel. We ordered the cook and ladder + the Italian. Both sandwiches were delicious and well made. They were fully packed with the stuffings and well seasoned. The only thing that stood out to me about the sandwiches were that I don't like when my meals are too sweet. There was some sort of sauce that made my Italian sandwich very sweet so it was hard for me to finish the whole thing. Other than the super sweet sauce, it was great sandwich spot! read more

We were shorted on sandwich completely although it was on the bill # 1 by the way. Incompetent workers, called in a pickup order and it was wrong even after I made them double check everything was correct. Only give us 2 sandwiches when it was supposed to be 3, no refund, AND one of the sandwiches only had meat on half of the sandwich. We were traveling with our dog and we were looking for somewhere outside to eat. This is a very dog friendly restaurant and the only one we found in Sevierville. The subs were very good. I got the chicken salad on wheat but took a bite of my husband's turkey sub. We sat outside with our dog and the owner came out to check on us several times. Excellent customer service. read more

Our grandson loves going to Firehouse Subs, so yesterday we took him after his ballgame. He wanted the small sandwich but received the large. My husband ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Ranch - his sandwich had no Bacon. I ordered Turkey with Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Brown Mustard, light Mayo -- my sandwich was not right either, it had Onion, Bacon, was drenched with Mayo and did not have Brown Mustard on it. Sent sandwich back, they only took the Onion off as it came back still drenched with Mayo and no Brown Mustard. This is the first time our food has not been right at this location. My wife and I ate at one in Chattanooga...it was so bad. Never been back since. My daughter and I went tonight...and guess what? I LOVED it!!! This was the best sub I have had in so many years. We are in the area to visit family. We are from Louisiana and while here our keys got locked in the vehicle. It took a while to get someone to come help us get into our vehicle and while we were waiting the manager came out to check on us. My wife asked for a couple of drinks while we wait but our wallet was in the vehicle and we will pay after we get in. When we got in we tried twice to get pay for the drinks but they refused and said we had been through enough. Such kindness to match how delicious our food was! read more

Our Middle school band visited Dollywood, and had planned to eat in Knoxville. By the time we left, we realized that we wouldn't make it to our dinner destination before they closed. So we were scrambling for an alternative destination. (Not an easy task with 250+ kids). We saw firehouse and 4 other restaurants close to each other. So without warning, we sent 50+ people to Firehouse. The employees and assistant manager were AMAZING!!!!!! They very quickly got us in and out. They were all so nice and happy to help us, even though I am sure we just make their night very crazy. Our group of 50+ ordered, got their food, ate and were back on the bus before some of the members, who chose one of the other restaurants, had even ordered their food. Having chaperoned my share of trips and eaten at many restaurants with a large group. I would rate our experience here as one of the best we have ever had. To make it even better, we always try to give notice, so that restaurants are prepared for such a large group. Firehouse handled our group better than most restaurants that are given a weeks notice. read more
