One of my favorite establishments to go to as they have gluten free bread. This time I decided to go with cheesesteak and provolone cheese, chips and a diet Dr. Pepper. The service is always great and there were not a lot of people when we went and therefore it was a very relaxing lunch. There subs have gone down hill. Yesterday I ordered 2 subs the steak and cheese and the hook and ladder. My steak and cheese had barely any meat on it. It tasted like mayonnaise and bread. If you have never tried a fire house subs before you are definitely missing out! I can't believe I've never written a review for them. From the moment you walk in the door you were greeted with "Hellos" and "welcomes" as well as the fresh smell of amazing subs! I have to say the best part of them, is there incredibly soft and delicious bread. Subway needs to take a page out of their book and figure out how to bake bread, this stuff is so good! Their meat and toppings are always fresh and delicious as well. They also have a wide range of hot sauces if that's your thing and their pickles are out of this world. There's not really much bad to say about them, except they're a little pricey for a sandwich, expect to pay around 10.00 per meal (BUT WORTH IT!!) you just have to go give them a shot. Great sandwiches!! Made to order. Good size, everything was good EXCEPT awful customer service. We came in and 4 employees were behind the counter, not one said a word. We go up to the counter to take a look at the menu and a young lady, I believe her name was Liz stepped to the register, still not saying a word, looking like life sucks. Although she was not rude, she made it seem it was an inconvenience that she was taking a order. I could of got more personality out of a rock. Ordered a hook and ladder with some slight modifications, came out quickly and was packed full of meat/veggies, it's nice to not have a skimpy sandwich! I should've taken a picture as proof but I was too hungry and dove right in. Taste was pretty good but nothing to go wild for. Also the place was eerily quiet. I could only hear a low humming from a kitchen appliance and a documentary about some athlete that got addicted to drugs (on ESPN) so in all a very strange vibe. Staff was nice. The bathroom is pretty outdated though. And maybe that's why there are several reviews mentioning the cleanliness of the bathroom. Everything in the bathroom just seemed old really. But in all I came here for the food, not the bathroom. I will definitely come back the next time I get a craving for a sub! read more

This is a decent location. Food came out quick and the manager was nice. Food quality was great. The only issue I would have is they store was dirty. I know why they don't give you a receipt. To avoid the survey'! Got one through anyway- ordered the Hero as I usually do- not what I got. What I got was ham sandwich! Well won't be driving past 10 Subway's anymore! and curious they don't answer the phone. I can't help that for whatever reason this was deliberate. I find it hard to believe since the kitchen ticket was correct that this was somehow not intentional. The look I got from the person handing me the order struck me odd but thought little of it at the time. When I got home and saw the sandwich it sort of made sense, why, don't really know. I merely placed the order, paid and waited! Why not hand out receipts and then not answer the phone. Too far to go back, I love the concept of their mission to help firefighters but they are not inexpensive it is a 20.55 for 2 sandwiches! I can appreciate the fact that made to order sandwiches take a little longer but this is too long. I came her last week per a suggestion of a coworker and boy was I surprised! Generally the pricing is kind of expensive, but if you are MILITARY then come on in. I ordered the 8" italian (yum yum yum) and I got chips and drink for free- yes military gets their chips and drink free. So essentially I paid about $5 for an 8" heated, delicious sub and everything else just came with it. May I recommend getting the cherry limeade and squeeze a fresh lime into it, you won't regret it. The employees were friendly with a good appearance- they even ask for your name when they take your order. It takes a few more minutes than subway, but that's just because these subs are made to order and heated. The restaurant was clean with two TVs which entertained me while I waited. I saw an advertisement on Snapchat advising Tax Day Freebies that if we purchase a medium sandwich , drink and chips that you would receive a medium sandwich for free. Well apparently this Firehouse does not participate on any of these deals. When I told the guy at the register about the deal, he asked "what deal are you talking about " when I showed him he lied and said that I can only get a free sandwich if I sign up and earn points. Why the heck would I do that? It was obvious that he didn't care about any promotions gong on and just brushed me off by trying to get me to sign up , download an app on my phone just to earn points. I just thought that was a jerk move. He could have been nicer about it. I won't be going back for a long time that's for sure. read more
