In-N-Out Burger - Burgers Near Me - Windcrest, Texas

Always fresh, always fast, and either prices that are very reasonable compared to most other burger places. My knock on them is their fries. But who is really going for the fries anyway. Service is always polite and efficient. Can't remember a time when I've gone in and they weren't busy. Always a loud and bustling environment in the restaurant but takes away from the service read more

This was a tad disappointing. I'm visiting and would have gone out of my way to get a bite of this California nostalgia. It's been maybe five years since I last had their food (on a trip to Texas as well). The price is right. That is for sure. I had my whole meal for $8.65. The place was packed - sat outside and watched the drive-thru line never get shorter! They were working hard. My burger and fries were kind of cold. The pattie was wimpier than I remember. I don't think I am as obsessed as I once was. Won't be rushing back, next time I'm in town, either. read more

Iconic burger joint, fresh and delicious. Don't forget the "secret menu" for more options. Service is top notch. You may need a little extra time since it is always crowded. Everything on the menu is great, and you cannot beat the service and ambiance read more

GGGOOOOOOODDDDDDDD STUFFFFFFF!!! It was super packed when we went- we walked in and there were 22 people in front of us! I came with some family from out of town and they had to have it so so we stayed in line. Honestly it went pretty quick- we ordered 9 mins after getting in line and got our food 15 mins after that. Still good quality and served hot and fresh. My only problem- was the fries were all Super Short! Like they cut the potato the fat way and not the long way. Other than that- all went well. The place was packed and they had staff roaming and keeping things clean. Loved it! read more

Treated my beautiful bride to an ultimate delicacy I haven't had in over 6 years, since I left CA. I spotted an In-n-Out in my peripheral vision driving down I-35 in San Antonio and made her get off the next exit to get there. I've heard people from TX say Whataburger is better. They've never had a Double Double or a 4x2 (4 patties and 2 slices of cheese) Animal Style with diced chiles and fries Animal Style. OMG! IYKYK! You can get a 4x4, but I prefer to taste the meat without overwhelming it with cheese. The place was packed but lots of very friendly employees keeping the tables and floor cleaned and food being served hot. It was great to see a good business thriving. The value is incredible too. An Animal Style Double Double, an Animal Style 4x2, and fries Animal Style, with a medium soda and 2 chocolate shakes, only $28. Not too shabby! My wife liked it so much, she pretty much demanded we go again the next day, and I gladly accommodated. UPDATE: Had to bring my wife by here again today. She's hooked. This is our third visit in just a week or so. As always, very busy, but quick service, clean store and smiling employees. read more

Came in for a quick bite through the drive-through. I will say the service is really fast and easy. The only problem that I have really is with the fries , I always order the animal style fries and it just seems like the restaurant throws a slice of cheese on there, which maybe is the restaurant preference but most of the time it's not melted. The fries are a little soft and they're not really seasoned. I do like to pair all my food up with some peppers they're super tasty. They had a nice flavor and they're not too spicy. read more

Another experience that's as expected.. In-N-Out never fails to deliver exactly what In-N-Out is known for. Cheap, fast, flavorful burger and fries. There is no way to complain about an entire meal that costs less than $10 - A cheeseburger, fries and soda. Period. (Order inside - quicker than waiting for the drive through line) read more

Now I love In N Out don't get me wrong but I went today for first time in a long time and either they gave us old patties for our burgers or didn't cook them right, it tasted horrible I couldn't even finish the food, now service is great as always but food was definitely 1/10. read more

Great tasting burgers, fries, shakes and their drinks! Love their services great customer service from all the employees, friendly and great atmosphere read more

Unlike Austin's In & Out, this one is NOT nasty! Customer service is well done on the nice & open to joke around side. The quality of the food is fresh & easily noticed once you take a big chomp into the burgers. The lettuce & tomatoes tasted like it came from a hand picked garden & the beef patties were seasoned well. So, I know now why they call it Animal style with a double double. . . because it's too large to fit into your mouth & too messy that napkins are very beneficial. It's a long wait inside with loads of people inside and out. The spread is only sandwich spread not sure how that became famous. read more

This visit, I was a bit flustered with their lack of knives for customers. Eating only meat patties, the plastic fork the provided was pretty flimsy. It was hard to cut with. I ordered grilled onions and there was no additional charge. But the price for just meat patties went up from $1.20 to $1.25. No terrible but I guess inflation is still ongoing. Food was still very good and I had a good lunch. read more

Darn In-N-Out. My wife and I landed in San Antonio after a super long trip due to snow, rain, delays etc... I grabbed the rental car and we went straight to In-N-Out. Hardcore??? NO! Hawaii people need their In-N-Out. This time I was prepared. None of this small stuff. 3X3 man! Well done fries. This burger was GREAT! It made me think.... What is wrong with everyone else again???? This burger just had IT. The taste, the cheese, the bun. It's FIRE!!!!! I don't want to hear about Whataburger or Shake Shack being better. They are NOT although Shake Shack I admit is pretty good! Whataburger??? What? Is that a burger? In-N-Out is just a fantastic burger PERIOD!!! read more

In-N-Out Burger - Outstanding employee! Give him a raise!!!! - Burgers Near Me - Windcrest, Texas

Worst tasting fries and burger combo from any fast food joint. Fries are like warm and taste like they were microwaved. Burger was dry and outdated. Price wanted to be competitive but the service doesn't match the expected standard. The pink lemonade tasted old. You'd think for a place that has only 2 items on the menu, they would be good at making it. I should've went to 5Guys instead. read more

We dined in for lunch today. We had a hamburger protein style, and a couple cheeseburgers with fries and chocolate and strawberry shakes. We were greeted by the cashier ready and willing to take our orders. I love that I can get a burger in a lettuce wrap (protein style) so I can cut the carbs from the bun. Food was delicious as per usual for in and out. I love there's in an out here in San Antonio. The restaurant was busy but clean and well kept. I was able to hear the person giving out the food real well when our number was called out. read more

I'm from California and I ADORE In-n-out, I was so excited to discover this one. It meets and exceeds every single expectation the crew is so friendly and accommodating. Aaliyah was especially amazing, she helped me work out an issue with my order and fixed everything so quickly, being polite the whole time. I'm so happy to have such a reliable, clean and stellar In-n-out to go to! Thank you Aaliyah and the rest of the amazing staff! read more

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and this place was a packed with a line wrapped around the dining area! Every seat was taken as well and the drive-thru was about 5-6 cars deep. Once ordered, the preparation was exact and surprisingly pretty fast. The service was friendly and helpful. The burgers and fries were tasty, hot, and delicious! Prices are very comparable to other similar establishments. Overall, a must return for our family. Enjoy! read more

Let me tell you about Zikora at In-N-Out -- she is next level. In the middle of a packed restaurant, with a crowd of customers coming and going, she still managed to make us feel completely at home. She was walking around like the host of the best dinner party in town, checking in on every table with genuine warmth. When she came by ours, she didn't just ask how the food was -- she asked if we needed anything else, like we were guests in her living room. And I swear, she damn near almost sat down and said grace with us. That's how real and welcoming she was. Zikora made a simple meal feel like a five-star experience. If you ever catch her during your visit, just know you're in for something special. In-N-Out, give that woman a raise! read more

Delicious as usual. Fresh potatoes, fresh lettuce, fresh tomatoes. Nice buns. Not so secret menu. Ambiance casual, service is good, friendly. Could be faster, but they move it right along. Yes, I'm from California. Does that make me biased? I plead the fifth on that one. I would like to believe that no matter where I was born, I would still be team In & Out given the gun test over Whataburger. Then again, why not both? Why am I holding out on that extra star? Still wish they could somehow make the lines even shorter. They know they're always busy. So let's keep up with the demand, folks! read more

This review is long overdue; sorry In-N-Out.... I have one thought and that is In-N-Out is GREAT!!! Wherever they are! Nuff said. Ok, not enough. Establishment looks brand new and clean. But its not brand new and it is Clean. They have workers constantly sweeping the floors and disinfecting tables. I had to wait for partial of my order. They brought it to me. How great is that? Proximity easy to find, right off the freeway south of Buc-ee's. Ample parking with 2 entrances to the restaurant. Inside and out! it is the rubber stamp of all In-N-Outs. We had a double double with twice fried fries and a double double no cheese, no bread (btw, that is referred to as a protein burger) No milkshake for me this time. read more

Ricky is amazing he was so nice and so sweet. He took my order amazingly! 10/10 recommend him. Give that guy a raise!

This spot is consistent with the service and quality of every other in and out burger joints that I've been too. The service is pretty fast, and there was a lot of customers here. I ordered the double double cheeseburger combo with a chocolate shake. The fires and burger patties and always just slightly dry for me giving it less than a 5 star rating. It is just personal preference, and the meal is really affordable at around $12. read more

In-N-Out Burger - Double double cheeseburger combo - Burgers Near Me - Windcrest, Texas

I can't remember how long it's been since we have been to an In-N-Out Burger, but I am totally glad we have them here in SA! My husband got the #3 Animal Style: which means they grill the onions , the fries were also animal style and they add the sauce on top of the fries for that. I got a #2 Protein Style: basically it's a lettuce wrap. I did not have the sauce on it. I found out on my very first visit to In-N-Out in California that I am allergic to the sauce; and yes I found out the hard way! You would think I would stay clear of here based on my first visit, but the truth is this is one of my favorite fast food places. The fresh cut fries are amazing and the lettuce wrap burger is so juicy. It was such a beautiful day that we took advantage of the outdoor seating area. The noise level inside was average with how busy it was, but we wanted to enjoy the sunshine. We will definitely be coming back! Now, the photo I posted. We were so excited and hungry that I forgot to take a picture before we started eating our food. Sorry, not sorry. read more

You can't go wrong with In-N-Out and their prices for the value can't be beat! I know it's controversial in TX but In-N-Out brings so much more flavor than Whataburger. Burgers, fries, shakes, or something off the secret menu, I don't care. Employees were super friendly like usual and the place was clean. Of course I'll be back! read more

Food that should've been hot was cold. Shake that should've been cold/frozen, was melted & NOT frozen. One of the absolute worst fast food experiences to date. Wow! It's been 18 years since I've darkened the door of an In-N-Out Burger establishment, & I instantly remember why! I took a few fries out as I was leaving the drive thru line. So, yeah, they should be hot. (Thinking it would be like all other fast food places, right?) Nope. That was strike one. Not only were the fries cold, they were hard. You know that, ah I let the fries get cold. That's okay, reheat them, oops forgot again. They were that kind of nasty. Could've stopped & gone in right then. But, there is a reason I went through HR drive through at lunch time! I had work to get back to. So, I was all, hey let's try the burger. Simple cheeseburger can't go wrong. Wrong. Again. The burger patty was not even slightly warm. It tasted as if it was sitting in the pan waiting to be reheated kinda cold. So, okay, last straw - the guy said the chocolate milkshake was their thickest. HA! It was actually completely melted. Liquid. Not a shake. So, yeah, if you're seeking cold food (at lunchtime, you know the rush hour time), or warm milkshakes, apparently In-N-Out Burger is the place for you. Not a good way to spend $15+ at lunch. I don't regret things in life much, I 100% regret this choice today! Never again. Never. Now, if I could rate staff over food, I would have put more stars! But they are what earned them the only star! The young man working the drive through, standing their taking orders; Edward taking payments; & the young woman who handed me the nasty food were all very nice & had beautiful smiles. But the food.... That's why the place exists....just plain nasty. Lesson learned. Never again. I got back to work & threw it all away. 8nposted a video on my TikTok showing it. To be honest, I'm not too impressed with the In-N-Out burger. It's not a bad burger but it's not the best I've had in SATX. I've been to the sites in Waco and N. Austin a few times. That said, the service at this particular location is pretty good. The staff move folks through the busy waves as they came. You won't have to wait long whether you're dining in, taking out, or grabbing food in the drive thru. The food was fresh, but what probably ruined this particular visit were the fries. They were cooked fresh, but tasted like there were not cooked thru. You know that flat taste that's between stale and flavorless - it was lacking that crisp outside, warm inside fry taste. Somebody mentioned that maybe they're not double fried? I just think they're not fried enough. The location is easy to find has its own private parking lot. Despite being very busy, the team keep it clean. The fountain drink and condiment stations are stocked. The folks are super friendly. ... but the fries. read more

Every time we've been to this location our food has been cold and the service has been very slow.

People have hyped up this restaurant for years. Even friends when living in NYC and traveling to California. I finally decided to try them since I am moving out of state soon. I work from home so decided to go have lunch OUT today. Took my fur child with me and went to this location as it was the closest. It was packed but the line went fast. I did some research on line before I went to look at prices and menu. I decided on the double double meal animal style. The internet did not tell me that was $13. The sign at In/Out says the double double meal is a little over $6. I also got 1 plain hamburger for my dog. Almost $17!! WOW. I was shocked. Then the worker asked if I would be eating in my car and I just thought he meant "to go" so I said yes. I didn't know I would not get a bag and would "have to" eat in my car. We paid and parked. I started with the burger which looked good, but it was not. I mean it was edible, but there was nothing special about it whatsoever and it was messy. Very hard to eat in the car and keep your car and yourself clean. I was not expecting the fries to have a sauce on them, I thought just cheese and onions. I know the fries are supposed to be fresh but they tasted freezer burned to me. I only had a few and tossed the rest. The location is spotless, outside looked very well maintained and employees were friendly. However I have 100% eaten better burgers. I guess I am just not a fan. Sorry folks. read more

Quick service and more than accommodating staff . If you don't get a combo burgers on their own are pretty cheap. The ingredients seem to be too notch. Staying at a nearby hotel and was hungry. I saw a review for In-N-Out and how good they were so decided it sounded yummy. I ordered a single cheeseburger animal style as I like grilled onions along with fries and a coke. I took it back to my hotel and by the time I got there (not long) the fries were practically inedible - stone cold, hard and dry - like some of the worst frozen ones I've had. The burger, well, it was colder than stone cold. My taste buds were nevertheless searching for the grilled onions which were barely there hidden under the cheese. I did not eat even half of the meal as it was so disappointing. My doggies helped me out and did not complain though. This joint is severely over-hyped and is nothing special at all. FYI McD's has the best fries and that's just fact. read more

I personally haven't been to a In N out before today but that was definitely worthwhile the patty on there burger is so freaking good which for me a person who doesn't care for many toppings is a huge win. I had heard through the grapevine that there fries were pretty mid but I was pleasantly surprised by this batch and personally I thought they were quite underrated even if I went a little overboard on the salt. The vanilla milkshake was quite basic but surprisingly good overall. I personally loved the 50's atmosphere which reminded me of Steak 'n Shake. The price tho was great basically everything on the menu is 3$ besides the 5$ double double which is crazy for how good the food is. I was born and raised in CA and actually lived right down the street from the 1st In-N-Out. What most people on here reviewing about In-N-Out and telling them to go to Whataburger is.... In-N-Out prides themselves on freshness. They never use frozen burger patties or fries. Even their buns are freshly baked daily. AND all are locally sourced. Those meat patties that some are complaining about comes from Texas. SO if it's tastless and you think it's making you sick, then just remember... these are ALL local sourced. In-N-Out also has no freezers in ANY of their stores. Those big fridges you see there are to keep produce they get daily cold and fresh. Your french fries? Those potatoes are and peeled daily and the cut (when you're in the drive thru you can see them cutting the fries. Secret Menu - Yes there is an In-N-Out secret menu. Not so secret in CA so to help out here you go: Animal Style - Mustard Fried patties with grilled onions and pickles 4 X 4 = 4 patties burger (instead of ordering 2 double doubles) Flying Dutchman - Two meat patties and two slices of cheese melted in between the patties. No trimmings or bun Protein Style - No bun and wrapped in lettuce Animal Style Fries - Steamed cheese on top with grilled onions Grilled Cheese - It speaks for itself. You can also add grilled onion Vegetarian Burger - Everything but the meat patty My rating is for the service. I get that Texans aren't used to In-N-Out and their culture. In-N-Out associates take pride in their work. Many of them make it to upper management and make 6 figures. Have a few friends that work for the organization read more

We are definitely In-N-Out addicts, so we were super excited to see there were locations in San Antonio. It's a must stop every time we are in California. We were shocked that my mom had never tried it, so we had to take her! And yes, she is now a fan! This location has the same high quality of service and as all the locations I've visited If you haven't been, the menu is minimal, just burgers, cheeseburgers, pop and shakes. There is of course the "secret" menu to improve on the already delicious burgers and fries. Animal style is my "secret" item of choice. I say "secret" because I'm pretty sure most people that have been to an In-N-Out more than once know it. I would recommend if it's your first visit, just go with a standard hamburger or cheeseburger so you can get the original taste. We all enjoyed our meals and if you haven't been, you need to go! read more
