I went at the suggestion of a coworker. I'd seen it before but the ratings were just ok. I was out on my Saturday quick run and decided to grab lunch and check out a Crystal shop nearby. I got the double patty combo and replaced the drink for a Creamsicle shake. The shake was decent. It had the taste of the creamsicle slightly. I was surprised it wasn't more orange in color though. Would I buy it again? Probably not. The combo was supposed to be a large fry but was more like a small. Most restaurants give that amount in kid's meals. The burger was more like a smash burger. I replaced raw onions for grilled. Honestly, the burger was just ok. It had a taste to it that was slightly off. I'm not sure if it was the burger or the fried onions. Drive thru availble but we sat inside. They have stools facing the window if you plan to stop alone. The service was great and friendly. We were suggested to get a grilled cheese, upgrade buns to burger buns, and add a patty. This comes out to about $6 and the cheapest way to get the best bang for your buck. Also if you add on a shake you get the shake at about half price. It was good. We tried a root beer and Oreo shake. Supposedly the best combo. My wife and I are trying Burfer Boy for the first time and she sees an app special sign when walking in. So she says I'll download the app and order that way. She does and our order goes through. Counter guy says it shows as a drive through order, we tell him we are eating in dining room. He says he will change to dining in. I asked for our drink cups. He looks at me and says we will give those to you when your food is ready. I say everyone who ordered got their cups. He says they will be with our order! These places have popped up all over town, so as I self proclaimed "burger guy", I had to see what it was all about. In the end, I don't see the hype. This particular location is kinda hard to get to unless you happen to be going the "right way" on Bitters to begin with. Additionally, parking is a nightmare. There is nowhere near enough and (at least when I went) they have the back part of the lot coned off so as to lessen interference with the drive thru. I opted for the "working man" special. I thought the burger itself was pretty darn big for the price, but ya gotta opt for two patties or it's simply not going to be enough meat. No way these count as LARGE fries. No way. Disappointing. Overall, a decent burger, but the patties were over-salted. Lastly, why ask if I want my order "for here or to go?" If you're just going to serve all orders in to go bags anyway? In the end: decent price, kinda neat - a lot of natural light - inside - and clean - but there are definitely other burger joints I prefer. A very simple decorated restaurant with a simple menu. The service was friendly and very eager to push some featuring items from the menu. The food was okay, it seemed like it had very small pieces of diced onions within the meat patty. The bun was toasted and tasted buttery. The fries were your regular crinkle fries. First time ever having burger boy and I was not disappointed. Walked in and was greeted by the most knowledgeable and go lucky guy named Elijah. He gave us a recommendation on which burger deal he liked the most. Goods -Friendly staff -clean -very open -quick drive thru Bad(ish) Enough indoor and outdoor seating for lunch on a Sunday but I could only imagine when they get slammed. I'm a huge fan of BB, but not the particular girl cleaning the inside right now. The booths are filthy. I did mention she may want to clean them while she's slowly cleaning all the tables that were dirty. They were all dirty and only had 3 tables full. I carry my own antibacterial wipes and cleaned my own. Anyway, she's sweeping and mopping, but not moving the chairs. She also doesn't wipe the chairs or booths down. "We do that when we close." She said. I was a manager at restaurants before, and when I or any of my staff cleaned the tables off, they would wipe down the chairs and / or booths. I don't get it. It didn't affect my food, I just think she should clean better, especially if a customer points it out. read more

This is a decent burger place, and I'm all for supporting local businesses. I will say that it's a tad better than the nationwide chains, and it's price-competitive ($10.16 for the Working Man double-patty Combo as of May 2023). Hamburger's the typical fast-food patty made better with a second one, above-average bun, decent toppings. Crinkle-cut fries are good and would have been excellent had they been more than barely warm. I was there at ~11am. Not only was there no one at the front counter or the drive-thru position, whoever was staffing was having a good old time yakking away back in the kitchen. I waited a couple minutes before leaning over the counter and going, 'Hello?'. A young lady came out and gave me the old stink-eye for interrupting the revival in the back. She did get my order correct and out promptly, so there's that. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with mustard and extra pickles - It's an alright burger at best. The krinkle fries were very good. I wish they had hot sauce in packets to add to the ketchup. The fries were hot and the burger was fresh as well, but it's just another burger. Why minus 3 stars ?? Alright at best burger, and a filthy dining and drink area. There were a few tables opened but not clean. They need someone tending to the dining area tables, chairs, and floor. My coworker and I sat at the bar along the window. I saw a roll of paper towels and some cleaner sitting there so I cleaned a spot for us. I as the customer shouldn't have to do that. Will I return ?? More than likely I will not. read more

The burgers are good, but probably my least favorite item on the menu. The fries are incredibly crispy and hot every single time and the Neapolitan shake is amazing. I still don't know how they get it separated like that when mixing a milkshake but I'm impressed. The workers are all, super nice and accommodating. We have been wanting to try thiis place but it is a little far for us on a normal day. However we found ourselves in the area and stopped in. We were glad we did. We both went with a cheese burger and fries. I got the double thinking the burgers might be on the small size. They were bigger than I expected. The were fresh, tasty and juicy. Everything was on point regarding the burger. The fries were hot and crispy but somewhat tasteless since they are the frozen type. No alternative to fries i.e. onion rings sadly. The inside is very modern with the high ceilings and tile and hard surface every where. If you are hearing challenged it can be a bit difficult to hear youself think. Luckily there weren't enough people insde to add to the noise this time. At the end of the day it was getting a little dirty on the floors but not too bad. BUT the thing I would not go back for is the noise, I'm a bit hard of hearing but the ceiling is very high and echos back everything going on under the roof. I would definitely recommend some sound deadening "something" hanging in that great sloped (think megaphone) volume of the ceiling, which also makes its south facing giant windows, a HOT restaurant with a lot of glare. As far the food, my burger was dry (not juicy) and they ONLY serve Crinkle cut fries - 10,000 burgers joints must be wrong! LOL.
