The Blanco Road Longhorn Cafe is a must-stop, even if the parking is a little tricky! That Original Big Juicy burger is Texas-sized and lives up to its name--thick, juicy, and just classic. You absolutely have to get the tots with shredded cheese (a side item that's perfect for sharing!) and wash it all down with an ice-cold Big Red. This is the best kind of local burger joint, serving up serious comfort food.

This is one of my hamburger hangout spots. I love Longhorn Cafe's hamburgers and this spot is my preferred location. It is also the original one, so there is that distinction. Longhorn's hamburgers, in my opinion, are the best. They are juicy, big and filled with tomato, lettuce pickles and mayo. For people who like their hamburgers full, this is the best. Their service is also pretty good. Regardless, of how many people they have( and this place does fill up), they get those hamburgers out quickly. For hamburgers, this place cannot be beat.

    Way too much mayo!

I just received a cheese burger and onion rings via Door Dash. My burger is almost raw and I won't eat it. I cut it in quarters and took a couple of bites. The texture was mushy. Not what you expect from a burger. It was drowned in mayo making it a mess to try to eat. It is going in the trash. The onion rings were great.

If you are ever craving a fried fish sandwich I highly recommend you satisfy your crave at Longhorn Cafe. This was possibly the best fish sandwich I've had in town. Super delicious, super crispy yet super moist fish on the inside, perfect amount of tartar sauce.. with a little bit of lettuce and tomato. .. This picture does no justice for the size of this sandwich. The service here is always great and the restaurant is always clean.

It's been a minute since I was here last. So let's just jump right in. We had burgers, onion rings and fries for lunch. The Bacon Cheese Burger was the pick of the table. It was great. The fries and onion rings hit just right. Longhorn Cafe never disappoints :-) If you've never been, go grab a burger

Longhorn Cafe looks like what everyone thinks a Texas burger bar should look like. Wooden tables and wall accents crowd the edges while an island of beer bottles drowns in front of the ordering line. The open kitchen is a fun sight as you wait to order and does smell good. The signature Big Juicy is the popular choice - a burger with a beef patty, veggies, and toasted buns. Unfortunately neither that burger or the others on the menu pack much flavor. They should taste more interesting than beef and vegetables. However, the tater tots are an excellent compliment and would be a welcomed addition to any burger menu. It does help that staff is friendly and that there's ample parking. You'll never have trouble finding a spot. This really is a locals choice and it's easy to see why thanks to staff, the outdoor patio, and fun vibe.

Dined in and had some burgers during cold weather. The ambiance is comfy. Parking is very limited. The burgers were good. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Their sweet tea is great!

Are you craving burgers again? Do yourself a favor and skip the fast food line. Head out to Longhorn Cafe and order yourself one their delicious burgers! That's what I did, and am glad I opted for a local joint. The burgers are made to order and served hot! At first glance, you can just tell that the first bite is going to be juicy one. Warm, cheesy goodness and a side of fries please! If fantastical was a word I believe it was made for this burger. Go check it out!

My husband and I had been trying to eat at Bobby's Southern Kitchen for at least 2-3 years. Every time we'd stopped before, the wait was around 2 1/2 hours, and since we were always passing through on our way home to Houston, we never had enough time to stay. This time, we planned our morning around finally getting to eat here. We had spent the weekend in San Antonio and were driving to Dallas before heading home, so we made a point of arriving shortly after opening (a little after 8:00 a.m.). There was no wait, we were seated immediately, and our waitress was wonderful. I wish I could remember her name because she was friendly, attentive, and did everything she could. Our food came out quickly, probably within 15 minutes, but that's where things went downhill. The food wasn't hot. Mine was warm enough to eat, but my husband's breakfast was actually cold. His hash browns were cold, his sausage patties were cold, and since he's someone who really enjoys his food served hot, it immediately ruined the meal for him. We let our waitress know, and she came back to take only the hash browns from his plate. That surprised us because most restaurants would prepare a fresh order rather than reheating part of the original meal. When the hash browns came back, they still weren't hot enough, so unfortunately they didn't solve the problem. For me, the food itself actually had good flavor. I ordered the sausage biscuit with soft scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and a side of grits. The biscuit was good, the eggs were cooked just the way I like them, and the grits were honestly one of the best parts of the meal. They were creamy, had a great consistency, and were well-seasoned with really good flavor. If everything had been served hotter, I honestly think I would have loved my breakfast. My husband ordered a simple breakfast with eggs over medium, toast, sausage patties, and hash browns. I don't necessarily think the food itself was bad I think serving it cold completely changed his experience. What makes this especially disappointing is that we arrived shortly after opening, so we expected everything to be fresh and piping hot. I honestly don't know what happened that morning, but after waiting years to finally try Bobby's, it just didn't live up to the anticipation. The service was excellent, the food had good flavor, and I truly wanted to love this place. I just can't overlook being served a breakfast that wasn't hot, especially first thing in the morning. I hope this was just an off day because I'd like to believe our experience wasn't the norm.
