Says they close at 12am, I show up at 11:30pm and hear someone with the mic but no one answers? Don't want to work until closing?

I pulled up my trusty Yelp app and we decided to swing in and give this place a try. Our first impression was positive--the restaurant was clean, and while the menu is fairly small, it includes all the classic items you'd expect from a taco shop. We ordered a variety of tacos and didn't have to wait long at all, maybe around 10 minutes. The tacos were so good. I honestly don't think there was a single one we didn't enjoy. My husband and I both agreed everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. This is definitely one of those places we'll be coming back to. There are quite a few taco spots in the area, but I highly recommend giving Los Tapatios a try if you're looking for authentic, freshly made food.

The location was clean and you can smell the aroma of household cleaning products. It's nice to know that some restaurants take pride in the smell and cleanliness of their business. Moving on, the food was delicious and was impressed by the asada meat which had good seasoning and flavor. I had the burrito. Even though it was a little small, I would get it again. I look forward to coming back here and trying a different dish.

We ordered a chorizo and egg burrito, an asada taco with egg, a chorizo taco with egg, and a chorizo plate. The main reason for the lower rating was the chorizo. It had a very unusual texture and flavor--almost more like ground chicken. It wasn't bad, just very different from any chorizo I've had before, so it wasn't quite what I expected. My husband said the burrito tasted good but had a bit too many beans. My son's chorizo plate was plentiful and he said it was good. The salsas were also really good with no complaints there, and the customer service at the drive-thru was friendly. Overall, it was a decent experience. When I rate places, I usually compare them to the best and worst I've had in that type of food. This spot definitely isn't the worst, but it didn't quite beat my favorites either. I went back and forth between giving it a 3 or a 4, but it's still worth trying, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if I needed a quick bite.

I've seen people mention the service being slow, but that hasn't been my experience at all. The servers are fast, friendly, and actually know the menu, which makes a big difference. The food is consistently amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you're getting. Plus, they gave the inside a little facelift recently with beautifully lacquered tables and seating, and it looks great. Easily one of my go-to spots for seafood. If you're into real Sinaloense mariscos, this place is it.

Where has this restaurant been?! We stopped here after going out and I am definitely coming back!…read moreThe restaurant is very simple, you order the type of meat and the type of vessel such a taco or quesadilla and it's cooked directly on the grill in front of you. I ordered al pastor tacos and they were hands down the best tacos I've had in a long time. The meat was juicy and hot, and the tortillas were tender. The restaurant itself was clean and bright, and the staff was very helpful both with ordering and cashing out. Even at the late hour, the restaurant was busy, but the service continued to be quick and friendly. I will definitely be back for more tacos!

No frills, simple toppings (onion, cilantro, radish, lime), simple salsa (red or green) but executed very well. Service is super quick. Most of their street tacos come on mini corn tortillas and they hold up well to the greasy meat. Al pastor was by far the favorite between my wife and I, with the cabeza a good second place. The bistec and suadero were both on the drier side. Lengua was tender and chopped up well. Easy to down 4 of these. Don't sleep on the quesadilla either - that was probably my favorite with the cabeza on a super fluffy hot tortilla with melted cheese. Hard to beat that. My only question is where's the panaderia? Didn't see any baked goods available on my visit.
