Says they close at 12am, I show up at 11:30pm and hear someone with the mic but no one answers? Don't want to work until closing?

We decided to stop by after some shopping in the area, we both wanted tacos and this showed up. We don't eat pork so we got the quesabarria with chicken and let me say *chefs kiss*. Adding some of the homemade salad they bring to your table made this meal 10/10. I've been thinking about it since we left! Free chips, a delicious Mexican soda and chicken quesabarrias what more do you need? Tldr; porkys in a MUST

I ordered online for pickup, and my order was ready quickly. Everything was fresh, hot, and prepared just right when I picked it up. They also included plenty of hot sauces in the bag, which is always a bonus. I ordered a carne asada taco, an al pastor taco, and a quesabirria. The tacos were really good, with the al pastor being my favorite of the three. I didn't love the quesabirria, though. It was a little light on the meat and loaded with cheese. That said, it's probably more of a "me" issue since I'm not a huge fan of overly cheesy dishes. If my husband had been with me, he likely would have loved it because cheese is definitely his thing! Overall, I was very happy with the food and would definitely eat here again. I'll be back.

The al pastor was juicy and delicious, and one of the best I've had. The carne asada was good but I felt could've had more flavor to it. The quesadilla was hard to put down, also one of the best I've had. It was easy to place an order online and service was quickl upon arrival. There is some seating inside in a very casual setting. Highly recommend if you're craving some tacos!

In case you are craving tacos, Tacos El Takin will satisfy your craving but I do not consider them as ones that will draw you back in. Especially since there are 2 other taco places, I noticed, within the same block. Food: i went with family and we ordered Asada mini tacos and Campechano (mixture of 3 meats) mini tacos. The tacos came out freshly made and hot with onions, cilantro, and a creamy green sauce (maybe their version of guacamole, not spicy). Other salsas were available at the entrance. They both had a good spice to them. The tacos were full of meat and I did enjoy that it was chopped into very small pieces. I did not see much fat in them either, which I appreciated. We also got their agua fresca- Jamaica. It was very good. Service; The service was fast, friendly, and the staff answered all questions regarding the menu. Ambiance: They played music, mostly salsa. It was not loud and allowed for us to speak normally. The location of the restaurant was a little hidden, I thought the GPS had taken me to a closed location. Once we made the corner, we saw the well lit restaurant. There is an ok amount of parking. The tables were not sticky and appeared to be clean.

I pulled up my trusty Yelp app and we decided to swing in and give this place a try. Our first impression was positive--the restaurant was clean, and while the menu is fairly small, it includes all the classic items you'd expect from a taco shop. We ordered a variety of tacos and didn't have to wait long at all, maybe around 10 minutes. The tacos were so good. I honestly don't think there was a single one we didn't enjoy. My husband and I both agreed everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. This is definitely one of those places we'll be coming back to. There are quite a few taco spots in the area, but I highly recommend giving Los Tapatios a try if you're looking for authentic, freshly made food.

The location was clean and you can smell the aroma of household cleaning products. It's nice to know that some restaurants take pride in the smell and cleanliness of their business. Moving on, the food was delicious and was impressed by the asada meat which had good seasoning and flavor. I had the burrito. Even though it was a little small, I would get it again. I look forward to coming back here and trying a different dish.

Well well, this time family was the culprit of a bad recommendation. "I like it, but you might…read morenot"...yep. Google had it at 4.3 and yelp had it at 4.1. High hopes right?!? NOPE. Where do we begin...ok first, it's got a good vibe. It's the stereotypical "Mex" theme, yet strangely it works. Staff was appropriately courteous and attentive. I'm trying to get the few positives out of the way. I rarely eat breakfast, so this was a change of pace. Bad idea. First, the breakfast menu is super limited, I mean most Mexican restaurants are, but this was bare bones as can be. Regardless, we gave it a shot. The coffee was very watered down. Almost like Folgers crystals watered down. Go figure, most places have good to great coffee. We ordered the chilaquiles, omelet plate, and one Chicharron taco and one barbacoa taco. Can someone please explain to me why in San Antonio, the thrown together slop they served me, is considered chilaquiles in this town? I mean place after place...it's the same. This resembles NOTHING to its authentic counterpart. I knew better, still ordered it, and I laughed when the waitress put it front of me. Of Mexico how I miss real chilaquiles, that seem to be on every street corner. I say that must mean it's not that hard to make. Anyway, the potatoes on both the platters were fantastic...the potatoes overshadowed BOTH plates. Freaking potatoes!!!! They were not greasy, well seasoned and beautifully cooked. The beans were just your typical beans. The omelet made me miss dennys...I love corn tortillas, I will put my money on it, any day, that a properly homemade corn tortilla will outshine a flour one and it wouldn't be close. Well this place is not it. Masa(corn) needs to be seasoned and prepped. Not just mixed with water. I see this over and over again. Why not a one? The table sauces were great, the potatoes were awesome, the chicharron wasn't my fav texture but had excellent flavor, the barbacoa was not greasy. We also had a semi decent tres leches, but I can't give them credit for that. It bought elsewhere. Don't recommend this place, but eh reviews will fool everyone and they will come.
