    Chilaquiles Verdes EXTREMELY SPICY
    JoAnna G.

If I could give zero stars I would, they served myself and my friend with coffee cups that were dirty that had lipstick on the outside of the mugs. I ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes and it was extremely spicy. I couldn't even eat it. The menu did not say that it was extra spicy. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I forgot to take pictures of the dirty coffee cups with lipstick print on them, but trust me, the cups were served dirty.

save your money and go to any other Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Jalisco burrito and it's just meat inside... no beans no rice nothing just meat. We ordered barbacoa and it's just beef skirt meat !! Not barbacoa at all not even the taste literally just shredded beef. Also ordered a chorizo and egg and literally NO chorizo !! Pure egg with one slight tasteless piece of chorizo.

Stop by for a quick breakfast early early morning, they open at 6 AM. Been here a few times and so far Service has been good. Food has been hot, quick and tasty. Lunch and dinner you get chips and salsa. Breakfast tend to skip that area. Coffee is good utensils cups, and plates are clean. Good presentation on food.. Vanessa is an excellent waitress, always smiling and quick to serve to respond and keep drinks full. Lunch during the week it gets pretty full with locals and construction workers but they do a heck of a job getting everyone seated, served and out the door. Today try Chilaquiles with green sauce, a.k.a. Verde. Serve quick, hot full of flavor added over easy eggs, and it hit the spot. Had a couple of flour tortillas and that was seriously a good breakfast. Y'all keep it up - great job

Stopped in for a taco with some friends over the weekend. Food: The asada tacos this weekend had a lot of gristle. Flavor was decent though. Service: prompt service

This is my fifth time coming here and I need to update this review. This place is major hot or major not. I normally get asada taco for a quick bite. Today, Saturday,, December 2 the taco was inedible. The tortilla was thick and soggy. The asada meat was rubbery and tough. 2/5 times that my meal was bad. So it is a roll of the dice on what you will get at this place. There are so many good consistent Mexican places in San Antonio, it will be awhile before I come here again.

The only thing to think about is how great the food is, it's like being in Mexico just safer.

Outstanding Hidden Gem…read more Don't let its location fool you--Acapulco Mexican Restaurant, tucked inside a small shopping center next to a gas station, is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm "hello" and a genuine smile. That kind of hospitality makes a difference, and it immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience. This is a walk-up, order-at-the-counter type of place, with self-seating options. You can either sit at a table or at the side bar overlooking the kitchen--both are great choices, depending on your mood. I personally love that setup because it adds to the charm and casual, inviting atmosphere. Now, let's get to the food--because WOW. I ordered the bacon and egg mix plate, which came with beans and potatoes, and I had the option of corn or flour tortillas. I went with corn (my favorite), and they were soft, warm, and perfect. My husband got a carne guisada taco and a chorizo, potato, and egg taco on flour tortillas. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could taste the authenticity and freshness in every dish. Our drinks came out quickly, followed by our food, which was served hot and fresh. The meal also came with green and red salsa--both were fantastic, but the red salsa was my favorite with its bold, flavorful kick. And now, let's talk about price--because this might be the best part. $13.50 for everything! That's almost unheard of for food this good, this fresh, and this filling. Between the friendly service, delicious food, and unbeatable prices, Acapulco Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. We will absolutely be back, and if you're looking for a fantastic, affordable Mexican meal, I highly recommend you give this place a try!

I saw that they previously had 2 locations, one of which Sodamigo took over at this location in Converse, which is closer to where I live, in Windcrest. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman, who may have been the owner. He was very polite and helpful. He explained the menu and talked about some of the food items and how the jalapeño popcorn was made, which they happened to be making, and it smelled very good. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, the Fuego, which happened to be a special and also a La Flor-R-R. The drinks were both very tasty. The chicken quesadilla was really good! It had a nice little cheese skirt on the outside. It is pretty spacious inside. There is a pretty cool mural on the wall. I think it might be from when Fiiz occupied the space, since it is done in their colors. Overall, it is your basic soda shop. It reminds me of the ones that I would frequent in Southwestern Utah, where the whole dirty soda trend started around 2010, by Swig. I would probably stop by, if in the area of either Sodamigo locations. Give them a try!

So we ordered a Dr Pepper that was custom-made with cherry and grape and we ordered a San Antonio Town Dr Pepper, which has cheesecake, strawberry purée, and cream in it I have to till you this was the best soda I have ever had. I am sold on this place !! There's nothing better than having an excellent soda shop near the house. They also sell kettle corn, buttery popcorn, jalapeño popcorn, nachos, tortillas, and sausage wraps, just the name a few things , you also get added mixes of energy shots, immunity boost, fresh limes, and popping Boba. Sodamigo sells lemonades with different flavors that include watermelon, cherry, kiwi, red raspberry, lavender, Wildberry, passionfruit, pomegranate, and peach purée. The fizzy waters that they sell, include flavors, like lavender, blueberry, vanilla, pineapple, coconut, mango purée, Mojito mint, and watermelon. You can add to any base the donkey lady which is vanilla times two creams or you can add cocoa Loco, which is vanilla, coconut, and cream. They also sell 10 pound bags of ice and sell their own personal tumblers. The quesadillas that they sell comes with either chicken, pulled pork or beef brisket. They sell cheese nachos, but you can add chicken, pulled pork, or beef brisket for an added fee. The drink sizes come in in Texas 44 ounce , a large 32 ounce, a medium 24 ounce and a 16 ounce Chico. Each added flavor runs about $.55 and each added cream or purée is $.80. The soda options are Dr Pepper, big red, Sprite, Mountain Dew, root beer, Coke, Pepsi, orange soda, and Ginger ale . They also offer sugar-free options and there's many many flavors that are sugar-free and you could also make your drink twisted for an extra $1.50 that means that your drink will become a slushy . The inside seating is very spacious and they have many board games that you can sit down and play with your family. If you're in the area I definitely suggest stopping by and helping out this small business because it's a pretty awesome place and I'm very happy with our drinks . Will definitely be coming back Thank you Sam for the big smile and the warm welcome.
