The only thing to think about is how great the food is, it's like being in Mexico just safer.

Decided to go here after a shift at work and was BEYOND disappointed... I ordered a puffy taco and it was the soggiest oil mess. The beef was literally RAW. And I don't mind medium rare... but hell no. read more

I don't normally go to this place because it's always something leaving me unsatisfied. Today my kids wanted tacos from there, decided to give it another try. Ordered barbacoa tacos for mysel. We all know a barbacoa taco isn't the same without the lime, cilantro, and onion. I specifically asked please put lime and cilantro on the side. When I payed at the window I asked the lady will you please make sure I get limes? she said yes of cours. Long line so I head home. Get home to eat no limes. So disappointing. Then my daughter's chorizo and egg tacos the chorizo was hard and tasted odd. Worse ever. they always either don't give me my cilantro or limes or both. I would not recommend this place. I'd give it no stars to be honest. Food was not good. read more

We came for lunch with our family (party of five) on 10/15. We normally pick up breakfast tacos which are typically good. I had a crunchy taco which had very little flavor. My husband ordered the lunch special which was a chicken fajita taco which sadly disappointed as well. They do have tasty salsas. The restaurant is nothing fancy but the food on this visit was just disappointing. We will stick to their breakfast tacos in the future. The pictures we took were the best part of this meal. Sad because we have eaten here many times over the years and this was the first time they let us down read more

Popped by on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It was one of the few breakfast places open before 9 AM in the area. They're selling point is a lot of food for a little money. If you want quantity over quality, this is perfect. Decided to try three different tacos. Nothing spectacular. salsa were bland at best. I tried the Verde and the red sauce. My husband tried a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and potatoes. Once again, nothing spectacular. Very bland Mexican food. read more

Poor customer service. Juan the manger would not make good on missing guacamole on two tacos. decided to argue on phone for 10 minutes instead . this guy is an idiot if he thinks we we're trying to rob him of 2 dollars. not worth giving them any business. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, they served myself and my friend with coffee cups that were dirty that had lipstick on the outside of the mugs. I ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes and it was extremely spicy. I couldn't even eat it. The menu did not say that it was extra spicy. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I forgot to take pictures of the dirty coffee cups with lipstick print on them, but trust me, the cups were served dirty. read more

Stop by for a quick breakfast early early morning, they open at 6 AM. Been here a few times and so far Service has been good. Food has been hot, quick and tasty. Lunch and dinner you get chips and salsa. Breakfast tend to skip that area. Coffee is good utensils cups, and plates are clean. Good presentation on food.. Vanessa is an excellent waitress, always smiling and quick to serve to respond and keep drinks full. Lunch during the week it gets pretty full with locals and construction workers but they do a heck of a job getting everyone seated, served and out the door. Today try Chilaquiles with green sauce, a.k.a. Verde. Serve quick, hot full of flavor added over easy eggs, and it hit the spot. Had a couple of flour tortillas and that was seriously a good breakfast. Y'all keep it up - great job read more

The food is good. The service is good. The ambiance is very stark and typical. My only complaint is lunch was supposed to be $8.99 with a tea. It was $14.99. Maybe white males pay more. It's not the first time. I got enchiladas verdes. Next time I could bitch about it but I probably won't go back. read more

The food is consistent and good portions. I get the asada tacos on corn and definitely good flavor for the little food variety 1 mile from my house. Still, we eat here a few times a month. read more

Ordered dinner on Monday night, 3 orders of mini tacos, chicken fajita plate and nacho fries. In summary my family voted "Off the list" everything tasted re-heated / re-cooked. Bland, greasy and terrible stiff tortillas. The asada fries were so hot they melted the foam plate and very unpleasant we practically threw it away. my husband shared it tasted as if the oil has not been changed. Unfortunately although we have visited for breakfast and it was ok, our dinner vote was based on a family of 6 and everyone gave a thumbs down today read more

This is my fifth time coming here and I need to update this review. This place is major hot or major not. I normally get asada taco for a quick bite. Today, Saturday,, December 2 the taco was inedible. The tortilla was thick and soggy. The asada meat was rubbery and tough. 2/5 times that my meal was bad. So it is a roll of the dice on what you will get at this place. There are so many good consistent Mexican places in San Antonio, it will be awhile before I come here again. read more

BOMB TACOS AND BREAKFAST BURRITOS! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL! Mexican food in Texas is usually a big miss, and never a hit. It's very different than the amazingness we have at home in CA. So, when my sister suggested this place, I wasn't expecting anything too great. To my surprise, it's amazing!!!!!!! Food: 5/5! My sister bought 2 burritos, 1 taco, 1 side of hash brown, and side of beans. The beans are so tasty I almost cannot believe how good they are! Do they taste like my mother-in-laws? Well, no....but, damn. They're really good! My thick chorizo burrito was so good, and so was my sisters! The one crispy hard shell tacos was also very good! Price: 5/5! SO AFFORDABLE! At home, a burrito is 10.00-12.00 each. Here, we got two for the price of 1. Out total was 17.00 for plenty of food. That's my kind of prices!!! Customer service: 5/5! I just love when people are so kind and helpful. They had so much patience, and I cannot wait to come back! read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Twice I've had issues with the manager. The first time I had a thick black hair in my taco. Then they made a mistake while ordering and when I call them back on the phone. The manager is so rude. I just wanted another taco, and the manager said no. I stopped going for months. The manager was saying That I didn't order correctly. The first time, I was like we all make mistakes. However, this is the second time that they can do no wrong. Management is so rude. read more

Pretty decent taco shop in the neighborhood. Every one has a side when it come to red or green salsa , here they are both good. It feels family owned and all of the staff are very friendly. We usually come for breakfast tacos or carne asada tacos. Reasonably priced and the line moves quickly. read more

Ordered the T-bone steak. Overly chewy and dry. Bell peppers and onions are not even cooked. Guacamole is was sour tasting. They brought out the tortillas so early by the time the food came out they were stale. Beans were ok. Salsa tastes like it came from a jar read more

If they get your order wrong don't complain cuz they will tell you not to come back . Manager rude workers can't read the order right but I get blamed on for complaining when I didn't get the food I paid for . DONT COME HERE read more

I don't recommend it. When you order something, they give it to you wrong and you call to tell them and they say don't come back! The manager said, "Find another restaurant!" read more

This place has the worst customer service instead of fixing the order they got wrong they told me to not come back to the restaurant. My grandpa cannot eat flour due medical conditions and they were upset because we asked to switch the order since they messed up and gave us flour instead of corn. I would not give this restaurant any service it has gone down since it first opened when the owner used to be around. read more

service was terrible they took forever to take my order then the man taking my order was super rude. i get my 3 tacos with 1 salsa only so i ask for another salsa , he says it will be a charge FOR SALSA, after already giving terrible service. Once opening my tacos, my bean and cheese only has on half of the taco. This is ridiculous. I will not be returning. This place used to be bushes it should've just stayed that way. read more

been goin here for a few years - good food but lately the portions have gotten smaller

Customer service was rude. And the girl at the drive through felt it was appropriate to take out her own tip from my change. Total was 12.47. I gave a 20 and got $5.55 back. This lady kept $2 for tip. Normally I wouldn't have cared. But her customer service was awful. read more

Took one of my safety managers here for lunch. The place was clean, and the service was spot on. The salsa has a nice little kick. They offer well over sixty, yes, sixty items on their menu. I had the pastor plate and my coworker had the shrimp cocktail. We both enjoyed our meals. The pastor was a little salty for me, but it had a great flavor beyond that. The place is fairly small and it was continuously busy while we were there. Worthy of a bookmark and a try for sure. One great thing I saw on their menu was, they offer menudo daily !!! That's worth five stars in itself. read more

Excellent authentic Mexican food at a great price. Breakfast tacos are my go to pick up for work. Love their salsa and queso

It's always a hit, I get their carne asada burrito which is amazingly good. You really can't go wrong with anything here. If your looking for cali style food and taste you will be happy coming here. They are reasonably priced, fast service, we always do driver thru so can't speak for inside but the staff is always fast and nice. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE! Manager is rude and not helpful. They will give you a receipt that has one charge and then charge you an additional fee without telling you because they are too cheap to cover the cost of running an establishment that accepts credit cards. Manager claims there are signs on the door, but you can't see the door if you order and pay over the phone and have the food delivered, and they don't tell you on the phone they have an additional fee. In this economy, we work too hard for our money to have establishments like this steal from us. The food isn't anything special, just standard tex-mex fare and the service is subpar. Spend your money at a different local business where the food and service are actually on point. The only reason I submitted this review with one star was because it was required to submit the review. read more

I first went here one morning when Bill Miller had a crazy line. I was like, you know what, I'm gonna go right here and get tacos. It's right next to Bill Miller. Their service is quick! Plus, they were serving lunch already which was great, because my husband wasn't wanting breakfast food. Today, I had dinner. I got the chicken flautas plate. Rice and beans were tasty. The chicken was a little dry, like you definitely need a sauce or guacamole or sour cream. I thought their breakfast tacos had better flavor. Their salsas are good too. read more
