Just moved to the area. Met my next door neighbors and asked about any good restaurants.. they mentioned this place.. what a little gem this is. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by several voices welcoming me in!! My 4th trip lol I always try something different.. well today I tried the puffy tacos! Some of best I've EVER had! Full stop! Anyway if you're in the area and want some really good food and a wait staff that will keep your tea glass full, stop in!! Support your local businesses!! read more

Ordered tacos for pick up. I don't think I'll be coming back for breakfast tacos. The tortillas were hard and falling apart. The tortilla is supposed to hold the food in it not let everything fall out the middle of it. Easy to find location and the lemonade is the best around but make sure you get some good solid tortillas if not your food will spill all over your shirt. read more

La Villa - the front of the restaurant - Mexican Near Me - Kirby, Texas

See all

We've been eating at/from La Villa for over 10 years now. The sweet tea is always fresh and pretty close to how I make it. The ladies are like family members to us. It's like walking in to a family members home and sitting down for a good home cooked meal. The food has always been fresh and wonderful. I've recently had bariatric surgery and can't eat much, they have no problem making my "taco" the way I want it. I will say I miss eating the fresh tortilla! I do steal a bite of my husband's every once in a while though, he still gets his fix, hahaha! read more

La Villa - Chicken Fajita Nachos! YUM! - Mexican Near Me - Kirby, Texas

Really good food for great prices. They get very high scores on health inspections as well.

When I was a kid this place was really good it was always busy in the early mornings. I came back recently and I must say that the food was just so-so. This place is getting home court advantage and getting an extra star, despite the unacceptable amount of time, they let old food stay on dirty tables. I wouldn't want to go during fly season. read more

La Villa - Plenty of seating area and lots of art on the wall. Makes you feel very welcome. - Mexican Near Me - Kirby, Texas

Salsa was so salty, that if I found a salt shaker at the bottom of the bowl I wouldn't have been surprised. The fajitas were not good, the tortillas were tough like cardboard and there was barely any guacamole. I had to use the salty salsa mentioned earlier to add flavor. I love Mexican food and this was probably the worst I have ever had. My two co-workers were extremely unhappy with their meals as well. read more

Best salsa in the San Antonio area. Enchiladas are outstanding. Breakfast tacos are excellent. Don't be surprised if it's packed around lunchtime. Stick with the Mexican food though. Another favorite Wednesday Special is the Chili Relleno. 4.5 stars. read more

I was impressed. Everything was very fresh. I loved the salsa. (I had the Verde Enchiladas). I was surprised at the homemade refried beans and homemade quacamole! In this town, with Mexican Restaurants on every corner, this is a stand out. Not the fastest service but that is not important if the food is great and you have some awesome salsa to keep you occupied. Ps, the bill was hella cheap! read more

Yesterday I ordered something new. Almost 100% of the time I order the Kirby Special to the point that the wait staff knows what I am going to eat. However, yesterday I order the chicken fajita nachos. They were excellent, my lunch companion looked at them as commented that they will order them the next time. This is place is a hidden jewel in San Antonio. read more

This place deserves zero stars! Service was bad and so was the food. I even got over charged by a few dollars so check your receipts.
