We stopped in for breakfast. This was our first time at this restaurant. I've driven by it quite a few times. Plenty of parking is available. There is a ramp for people who need it, but there are some huge flowerpot on the sidewalk around the building. Making it hard for wheelchair and walkers being used. Also the doors are wide, but there are also some pots inside the doorway. The staff was welcoming, found a place by the windows. Order coffee. Maria had the huevos rancheros. I had the Chicharon plate. Both plates were pretty good. The potato's didn't have any seasoning on them. All in all, we would go back for lunch and breakfast again. read more

Went Thursday about 2:00pm with my daughter and a friend. We seated ourselves in the colorful dining area and were greeted immediately. Server was friendly and took our drink order (we all got water with lime). She brought our drink (they were in huge glasses) and then brought us chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and nicely seasoned. The salsa was tasty with a bit of a kick for me (but I don't like very spicy foods). We all ordered the Carne A La Mexicana - beef grilled with onions, peppers and tomatoes, served with rice, beans and a salad (shredded lettuce and 1/2 a slice of tomato). We had a choice of flour or corn tortillas, we chose flour, which were thick and flavorful. And since it was a luncheon special it came with a drink. I was in love with this place years ago but over the pass year to year in a half it has been horrible something changed there's something wrong with my food everytime. It doesn't even taste the same. I'll stop going then try again. this time I ordered my food it came with no meat and more. I ordered 2 dozen pork tamales to go. These things were absolutely fire! They were hot, not too greasy and super fresh. I'm from Austin and I was looking to buy some from another place down the street that sold out. This was in the afternoon and I'd definitely order from here again. Dude if you're selling me a 4.99 taco and I order two of them make them well. Let me explain the cook in the back made enough for one taco, but it wasn't enough meat for the chicken taco, but they decided to serve it to me regardless I saw the server can you finish making my second taco? because the first one was made properly, but the second one is like they didn't have enough left in the pot to make the second one I sent it back and all they did was spread out the meat all over the taco and send it back to my table like I wasn't going to notice so I said no thank you friend, but I'll just send you back the taco do better it's 5 dollars a taco after tax read more

Went through the drive thru for breakfast. Lady was sweet and super professional. Service was fast given the amount of people here. Ambiance was busy. They messed up our order, nothing was labeled, which would help them get the order right. Green salsa was very disappointing. No spice and no flavor. Tortillas was fresh. Carne guisada was good, barbacoa was not greasy at all which is a huge plus. Asada was so soft and chewy. Pastor was greasy, and did lack flavor. Bean and cheese was good. Didn't get two of the tacos I ordered so no reviews on them. read more

We've lived around this area did more than 10 years & have consistently come here to support the business. Today, unfortunately, was not a very good experience. We walked in and were greeted to sit anywhere we like. There were 3 waitresses in the first half of the dining area serving 4 tables; we made the 4th. We sat for 10 minutes & no one came with menus. Another party came to sit next to us, and they were provided menus. The waitress looked at us, and walked away. Other tables were being served food by the other 2 waitress, and they did not acknowledge us. The waitress came back to the table next to us and got them chips & salsa & drinks and began taking their order. She left again, not acknowledging us who still did not get menus. Yes, we could have hunted someone down and asked for menus, but that is not our job. I would be more understanding if the place was packed or had short staff. That wasn't the case. 3 waitresses serving 5 tables (obviously we were not even serviced). I liked being able to continue to support an older business. Honestly, there are SO many other Mexican restaurants around this area. Go there; not here. read more

Anyone who is a Judson grad knows that this place hits deep with memories. There was nothing like getting some Sabs before school or even....ahem...during lunch. I moved away after graduating in 2013, for college and then eventual full time work. Recently I moved back after being able to work remotely and so I've been able to experience the beloved Sabs breakfast tacos once more. The horchata is great, all their taco combinations are great (try the chorizo for sure), and their homemade salsa is a nice mild that will satisfy your more sensitive friends while still providing a nice flavor if you usually prefer spicy. Lastly, the service is always wonderful and the entire crew of ladies operating the tables always maintain quick and friendly service. Never change! read more

We have been here few times, I like thier food but I was very disappointed when I ordered barbaco and the charge me extra for cilantro and onions. Normally cilantro and onions are standard with barbaco beside they also changed for paying with debit card. This trend is just like a fungus going with all restaurants. Need to stop going to places that they charge extra for condiments and pay with debit cards. read more
