This has become our Saturday morning breakfast spot. Service never disappoints and wait times are almost non existent. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Our food has been delicious each time with any item ordered. Plates come out the way you see them pictured on the menu. Food has been authentic as far as Tex mex food goes. I'd give this restaurant only two stars because the refried beans and the Mexican rice had literally no flavor at all. I ordered the puffy tacos and none of the food, including the beans and rice had salt in them at all. Everything was pretty bland and the enchilada plate was the same refried beans and rice had no flavor and nothing was salted on our plates so everything was very bland. I wanted to like this place so much since it is so close to our house. The service was great, no problems there. The ambiance is cool, and lots of tables. I ordered a mango margarita and chips and queso to start, both were pretty good. I ordered the fried potato tacos with the cabbage, tomatoes, sour cream on the top. I forgot what it was called, but it came with rice and beans. My wife ordered the burrito with chicken. Everything was just really bland. My plate also came with asada and it was chewy. And our bill came out to $75 for 2 people which did not seem to be worth it for us. I would come back to try the breakfast, but wasn't a fan for lunch/dinner. read more

This was our second time ordering takeout. Staff always acknowledges you right away and service is pretty quick. Restaurant appears fairly clean. The only thing is that our order was wrong this time. We ordered beef enchiladas with flour tortillas and chicken enchiladas with corn tortillas. I have a gluten intolerance and grabbed the chicken enchiladas from the bag to eat, assuming the other was beef. I was already eating mine until my husband realized his had chicken too. We couldn't figure out which one was corn tortillas. The food tasted great but disappointed that our order was wrong. We will return but will make sure to check our order next time before leaving. I only got a few beers l Since I wanted to try it out close to home. Honesty it seemed like if ur a guy the bartender is gonna pay more attention. To them then A woman. I had to get the other waitress to get my check till the girl came back. Don't get me wrong she was nice but ok then the other waitress n waiters by the door were just talking to each other not paying attention to customers. Looking like they did not want to be there. I think that's rude. Nobody ever asked if I needed anything else or any other tables. I was sitting at the bar n could see everything. I came here with my family of 5 tonight and enjoyed the fast attentive service. The ambiance is a higher end Mexican bar. With heavy chairs and nice decorative touches. We arrived at 7 and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Which I thought would be longer considering how packed the parking lot and inside were. They just opened so they lose a star for the mediocre margaritas (small size glass). I asked for a spicy margarita and they said they only have regular and flavored ones. We ordered two regulars. The crazy thing was one glass was smaller than the other. When asked about it they said some are smaller than others but made sure to "make it right."Which I appreciated. Our carne asada, Jalisco burrito, carne guisada, were all delicious. The kids quesadillas were even good with the most delicious cheese inside. The guacamole wasn't the best. But the chips and salsa were yummy. No wait for the check. And we were out within an hour. Amazing when you dine out with a 2 year old. We will be back. We spent $95 on Mexican food and were still treated like we were trying to get something for free. We were given two kids' bean & cheese plates by mistake. We sent one back and didn't keep it. I didn't ask for a refund -- I simply asked for the bean and cheese taco to go, without the rice and beans, since the extra plate had been returned. We even told her to go check the table to see that the plate wasn't there. She finally went to look, and at that point I just said, "Forget it -- let's go." It wasn't worth arguing over a $5 mistake. For a $5 plate, the older lady who only spoke Spanish refused to make it right and acted like we were trying to get something for free. We paid for everything -- we just wanted them to fix their mistake. The waitress was kind and tried her best, but clearly had no authority. The whole experience was ruined by the lady who insisted on making it difficult. A $5 plate cost you a future customer. Terrible customer service and zero accountability. Not returning. read more

This is an extremely nice restaurant esthetically. It is extremely clean and very well decorated. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Everyone was in a good mood and it definitely showed. The only downside to my visit was the food wasn't seasoned correctly. Everything tasted bland. Adding salt helped but it still was lacking flavor, in my opinion. I appreciate the employees here on thanksgiving, we ordered a Mexican plate , one tortilla soup for 11$, and 3 breakfast tacos . No drinks chips salsa or extras We get to the window to pay and we have the Los Agaves app that has a 5% discount applied to it . The nice man at the window told us the total and my husband showed him the app with promo code and he looked at it and said ummmm hold on and a lady came to the window and said how can I help you and we showed her the 5% discount that we have on their app on our acct to use and she gave us an ugly look shook her head and walked off speaking Spanish ( hence we understand Spanish) and she told the man ya no we can't use that right now ! Ummm ok why when it's available to us on YOUR APP so we the said ok we'll do you offer military and showed the ID to the man at window and then the same lady was in the back again in Spanish asking the man DID THEY EVEN SHOW YOU PROOF mind you with that discount we got 87 cents taken off our order on top of that THEY CHARGE A 3% debit/credit card fee...... This is not the Los Agaves that we are used to when they opened a few months ago we were told our first dine in here to download the app and we will be able to accumulate our dine ins and use our rewards . We loved this place . But after that lady in the kitchen attitude I believe it was the manager we will not be coming back and my heart goes out to the employees that are having to work under her on thanksgiving. Seating is tight if one is seated at a table in the middle. The tables are close together more of family style seating. Food was okay yet queso too thick but chips were good. I had a Fajita plate. The fajita was thin pieces of meat with thin pcs of bell peppers & onions. I would say for the price that if I go back that I would not order again. My Son had the chimichanga. He was disappointed as rice was not all the way cooked. It was a busy atmosphere but my drink not refilled as waitress only came twice - to take our order & to give us the bill. My first time coming to this place. I called ahead of time to place an order. I asked them what taco specials they had. They informed me that they only had two tacos and a coffee for 6.99. I went ahead and placed my order of 2 chorizo and egg, 1 bean and cheese, 1 bean and cheese with bacon, and 1 carne guisada with cheese. Literally less than a minute went by and I added two more chorizo and egg tacos. I pulled into the drive thru And they informed me that they forgot to add the carne guisada with cheese. That's fine no big deal. I told them go ahead and add it. I pull up to the window and they give me the total of $19.32 for 7 tacos. They give me the receipt to sign when I noticed that on the window they have a special of three tacos for $4.99. I asked him as to why I was charged $10.36 since they had a three taco Special for That price. She told me because I called back to add the other two that they cannot honor the 499 pricing. She also said anyways, the total would've been $8 and some change. This made it seem like it wasn't that big of a deal to her, but it is my money. If I was short That difference they surely wouldn't have given me my order. If I was informed of that special, I would've ordered my tacos according to that pricing. The carne guisada with cheese was tender but was super greasy, and tasted like the meat was burnt. The other tacos were fine. They did lose a customer due to not honoring their pricing and their employees not being aware of what kind of specials they have. read more

In addition, our server only came back to the table once, within seconds after our food was delivered, before we'd had time to realize anything was wrong.
