It was not toasted, unlike we are used to in a banh mi. I ate 3 or 4 bites and that's it. I am sad we wasted our only San Antonio meal on this sandwich. Finally, the gravy was perfect from the amount of sausage to the elegant "sage-iness" of the bite. With respect to the quantity of gravy, it is not uncommon for places to not give enough gravy. The ratio of gravy to biscuit must be difficult to master, well they've done it at Northern D'Lights!! Just incredible experience and we will be back, on the regular!
