Cold canned mushrooms on a hot sandwich is a huge turnoff. Really unappetizing. The Au jus was so salty I couldn't eat it. The sandwich (other than that) was good. My husband's meatball sandwich was "good, could have been great if it didn't have so much sauce on it." Just a personal preference. For this store in particular: found hair in the fries and sandwich. Couldn't finish it and too late to take it back. For Firehouse in general: something has changed with the bread. I think it's the toaster I've noticed them using now but the bread tastes stale. It's been that way the last several times there. Steam your rolls! I might give them another shot but I'm not too sure right now. read more

I called the store and asked this place to overly secure my bag because I had placed a Dash order, but the guy who answered was sarcastic. I also ordered pickles with my 2 orders , but it either wasn't put in with my order or the dasher who picked it up ate the pickles. Regardless, my bag wasn't closed tightly, and I'm not sure if the bag was like that from the sarcastic worker at Firehouse or the dasher went in my food either way. We love FireHouse and have been diners from the start. When we are here today we are told we will need to wait 25 min from our order time. This is not because of a rush inside, but they said, because of all the take out called orders and door dash. There is no one in line. Wondering what the future will look like in this type establishment for in-person dining. Otherwise the store appears clean and the staff are nice. read more

We visited Firehouse Subs this past weekend as we had to stop into Lowe's and were hungry. Firehouse is always consistently good. I have never had a bad experience there and don't expect to. I ordered the Hook & Ladder sandwich. My go to always. My sister usually orders the same thing but she opted for the Club on a Sub this time. I have never tried one but I'm sure it's good as well. I want to try their Jamaican Jerk Turkey but I just can't bring myself to order anything but the Hook & Ladder. I will have to get brave next time and give it a shot. read more

The food here is not bad, considering the Bread is made with so much sugar that it would be considered cake by European law. That's said I like meatball subs and find them particularly good. The place only got three stars because the employees are always outside smoking and vaping, and I watch them when I walk in they come in behind me and they don't wash their hands. One of our favorite spots for a quick lunch. Food is prepared to order and always got and fresh. Their whole wheat rolls are very tasty and you feel like you're eating a little healthier. Favs are the hook and ladder or the club on a sub. Hubby's fav is the steamer Employees are always friendly and cheerful. Can get a tad crowded as they are right across from the high school but they keep the orders flowing and there is not usually a problem. I am not a sub or sandwich fan but they have converted me to loving a hot sub. Add banana peppers or one of their multitude of hot sauce choices and you've got a winner. read more

I'll start by saying I'm a huge fan of firehouse. Their house sauce is incredible and I don't think the sandwiches would be quite the same without it. But this location wasn't as clean as other Firehouses I've been to and as soon as we walked in it smelled pretty bad. I get that sandwich shops don't always smell pleasant, but this smell was just...something else. Anyways, I ordered a Hook and Ladder and it was delicious as usual. I'll start by saying I've eaten at a lot of different firehouse restaurants and normally have no issues. I order a double meat Italian and received a sub that appeared to have only 1 serving of meat and when I went to ask them they assured me that was double meat which it was clearly not. My wife ordered a hero with Mayo and Italian dressing only and they gave her a hero minus both Mayo and the dressing. Usually firehouse is on point but there is definitely a difference between X2 meat and a regular amount of meat. read more

Firehouse subs has always been a favorite of ours so after being in the area we decided to stop in for dinner. Two workers were sitting outside and one had her foot up on the table where people sit and eat. How disgusting! How very disgusting. The restaurant inside was clean from what I could see and then I realized the two from outside were now inside. She didn't wash her hand but put gloves on and a bit of sanitizer on the other had. There was an older lady at the register-she was very pleasant and provided good customer service. This happened close to closing. Definitely not a location I would go to again. read more

The sandwich I ordered was excellent. I was extremely satisfied until I saw a young lady that (Ashley) works there take her hair down behind the counter roll it back up in front of all the food. Mark is the manager of this store and he is serious about service. He makes sure the store is clean, the food is perfect and the employees are nice. I've never been at a fast food place where the manager is so viable and involved. read more
