I haven't had any bad food here, just bad attitude. We went in a month or so ago and the vibe was mixed. We had someone greet us and then someone give us a condescending response to the fries. Then they didn't include my Au Jus. I come in today and again greeted politely but apparently the one making the sandwiches was in a super sour mood. Not even remotely approachable. When we grabbed our food, I had to ask this time for Au Jus and the young man who greeted us gladly prepared us some. As he did, he asked the kid that was sour "you didn't give any sauce?". The kid just shook his head no. While again I've not had bad food, the vibe there is really unwelcoming. Someone is always angry and you can feel it in the air. I'm not likely to come back if only kids are manning the shop without adult supervision. read more

Great place to get a sandwich. Very clean inside, it was my first at firehouse and I was extremely impressed. The shorter female manager was very helpful, kind, and conscientious. It's an awesome sight to see food service workers actually being friendly. read more

Order was made at 16:54 and didn't show up until 18:46. The order was cold and so late that ice in the soda had already melted. Flavor is good, but cold. Driver for Grub Hub just said sorry don't know what happened and left. It's a shame to pay for a sub that supports a good cause and then to have your food arrive cold. I'll continue to support Firehouse Subs, but I won't have them deliver to me again. read more

Friendly staff and good food. Hook and ladder is my favorite. Get their datil pepper sauce on the side. Not spicy and great with any sub.

My friend and I happened into this location while shopping. The lady that took our order was very friendly. Also the gentleman that made my food was equally as friendly. I asked that my sub be made with no bread, and that was the best looking sub without bread that I have ever seen. He also offered me multiple types of dressing. I am not one to leave reviews, but this place deserves a nice one. Thanks for making my lunch experience so wonderful. It's not something you expect from a fast food type restaurant. read more

Two fellows were sitting in a coffee shop...suddenly the Town's Fire Alarm went off ... one jumped up and headed for the door ... his friend shouted, "Hey, Tom, I didn't know you were a fireman!" Tom replied, "I'm not, but my girlfriend's husband is..." So Firehouse in my opinion is the best chain sub joint in the area. (Don't get "hosed" by subway, jimmy john's, zero's, jersey mike's etc.) My go to is the New York Steamer and although the price of a combo including said sandwich will likely leave a steamer in the backside of your shorts, to me it's worth the laundry bill! Also they have the god's gift to soda heads in the make your own concoction machine. The Cherry Lime Aid that this thing puts out easily "extinguishes" any of their multiple hot sauces that they have available. This firehouse may not be in the best location as far as traffic goes; but the customer service and quality of the group makes up for it. I have been to this location at least 15 times and every time the food comes out correct, and quick. read more

Very upset. I LOVE the food from here, it's delicious every time.. However, EVERY TIME I ask the employees to toast my sandwich on the outside, as well as the inside, because it's never toasted enough... They ALWAYS tell me "they do" or "they will" and EVERY TIME, it's toasted the same. I'm a very frequent customer & I expect that if you guys want us to continue to spend money at this location, or firehouse in general, they should do better making sure their customers are safisfied.. Got home, (15 min away) & now I have to eat it like that. Also, my cheese and bacon were missing from my Club. Update: I called and let them know of the mistake & they corrected my whole order and upgraded my sizes. THANKS GUYS. read more

I Stopped by the Firehouse Subs (In The MacArthur Center Mall) for some lunch. I ordered The #10 - Brisket Sub. When I got the sub I took a few bites.... it was INCREDIBLE. The Brisket was perfect... the sauces were the BEST I ever tasted on a sub and the bread was fresh. I spent $11 on lunch but it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. It's firehouse subs, their subs are pretty flavorful and never dry! This establishment was clean but a bit muggy, probably adjusting to the weather change. We got our food almost immediately after we poured our drinks. Not having to wait is always a plus! The drink machine was out of quite a few flavors and one ran out mid pour. I really liked my steak and cheese sandwich. The portion was just on the small size. The wait was rather long, 20 min, for two sandwiches... they were not busy, just understaffed I suppose. Bathroom messy, tables unclean, food cold -- FOX news Channel blaring makes lunch experience NAUSEATING!

Let me start by saying I LOVE firehouse subs. They are my go to sandwich shop. The past 3 times I've been the drink dispenser has been giving some rank diet drinks. I normally order online but today I ordered in store. It was the first time I tried my drink before leaving. Upon notifying staff I was told the diet drinks were like that and there was nothing they could do. Well ma'am, you could offer a refund, you could post a sign letting customers know before wasting money, or you could tell the customer about the issue when they order a combo. I'm sorry, but you do work in customer service. I didn't reply, left my drink received my sandwich and head to the office I ordered a large "hero" ham turkey and roast beef. Simple enough. The only problem is there was very scant meat accommodations other than ham. Below is a picture. So for $15.38 I have a drink I can't drink and a halfway assembled sandwich. I'm a grinder girl, however I'm NOT a hot, toasted sandwich person (don't judge). Firehouse Subs is the perfect go between for me. The bread isn't toasted, but the meat and cheese is gently steamed to perfection - love it! I also love the shelf of hot sauces to add to your sub too. I find it to be a little on the expensive side if you add chips and a drink, but definitely a good sandwich. read more

Good place for a good quality sub! Is pretty busy over the weekend (or maybe I just caught them at a bad time) and they steam their meats which does lengthen the wait-time as they prepare your sandwich. If you're in a hurry, just order online and they will have it ready by the time you drive over to pick it up. read more

This was a nice lunch visit that almost did not happen. I walk in looking to get a sub. As I stare at the menu on the wall, each and everything listed includes some form of meat. As one who eats no beef pork or poultry I was screwed. As I left the counter to head for the door the lady behind the counter (Megan?) ask if everything was ok. I said yes, but there was nothing on the menu that I could order since I do not eat meat. She then let me know that they make a great veggie sub. So I took her up on it and ordered what she suggested. I am glad I did as it was great. Megan should be commended. Keep in mind, this is not just some concoction that she made up on her own. The receipt clearly spelled out Veggie Sub. It is frustrating that a store as big as this with a huge menu on the wall would not bother to mention they have veggie subs available. I imagine that Firehouse has lots a great deal of money over the years because of this. Hey Firehouse - update your menu! And also, give Megan a raise. She deserves it. read more
