Stopped by while I was out and about and finally got to try the popular Birria Bombs. I usually just get a burrito bowl from here, so I was excited to try something different. The staff were all friendly and welcoming; answered questions that I had. The inside was partially decorated in a few areas for halloween. The Birria bombs combo came with 3 Birria balls, sauce, and consomé (8/10) there was a good amount of cheese inside and a decent amount of meat, the flavor was pretty good, but I felt like the balls had too much dough. At one point in one of the balls, after a couple of bits, I had majority dough and a little sliver of meat. I also felt like the consomé wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to at other restaurants. I don't think I'd try the Birria bombs in particular again, but I would like to try how their actual Birria tacos are at some point. My overall rate of experience : 7.8/10 read more

I ordered a Brrira bowl, and it was everything. The seasoning was on point, perfectly balanced, and honestly made me forget my first impression. The flavor carried the whole experience and showed me why people keep talking about this spot. While I probably won't dine in again (the staff didn't exactly bring that warm, friendly energy), I'll absolutely be back for takeout. I went to the front of the line and one of the employees greeted me and got my order together. He was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a carnitas taco, a carne asada taco, and 2 birria bombs with consume. The carnitas meat was shredded and flavorful, but had no char or crispness to it like some other places make it. The asada meat was well seasoned and had a good flavor. Overall, the tacos were pretty standard. The birria bombs, on the other hand, were something special. Birria meat, onions, and a ton of cheese, wrapped in a seasoned, corn based dough, fried to perfection. I cracked one open and dipped it in the consumé. Amazing. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and ordered three chicken street tacos. The ordering process was confusing, as the employee taking my order seemed to have difficulty understanding me, and then another employee stepped in and the two began arguing, which was uncomfortable and off-putting. After finally checking out, I was surprised that the total was over $18 for just three tacos. I asked multiple times for sauce and also requested shredded cheese, but never received either. Me and my boyfriend went out for a quick dinner and thought we would try taco burrito co, we walked in and the owner was very helpful and nice, he explained the menu to us and when we tried the food it was amazing, everything was fresh and hot. After a long search for birria tacos, I landed at Taco Burrito for its raving reviews. They have a line of ingredients guarded by glass, chipotle style. You order your food and they grab the ingredients to put it on the grill behind them. The birria meat was tender and delicious, although the "soaked" tortilla was hard. I had thought it would come with some birria dip but the lone taco does not. I also got the street taco with beef and a bean and cheese pupusa. It saddens me while writing this review on my experience. I have been here a few times and before that, my boyfriend would pick up Birria Tacos for us all the time. We have had everything on the menu from burritos, tacos, and pupusa. The birria tacos are my favorite and have decent prices compared to other restaurants. The consomé has pieces of beef in there to scoop out and is so flavorful! The tacos are stuffed with meat and have cheese between the tortillas making this an amazing dish. The Burritos are also delicious and it's like Chipotle where you can pick your meat and filling. I have ordered both the small and large and have had no regrets. This is where it all went wrong and the reason why I will not support this business. My boyfriend and I went to order inside Tacos & Burritos. The Turkish man that was working the counter was trying to make small talk and asked what my ethnicity was. After I answered he was not familiar with it and looked confused, he proceeded to push his eyes back so they were slanted like he was making fun of Asians and being rude. I was very uncomfortable and did not even want to eat there anymore but we already ordered. Luckily my boyfriend handled this confrontation because it would have escalated if I responded.
