Was so pleased with our visit here! We got takeout, and everything was hot and fresh when I picked it up. The whole place is very clean and new of course, and would be fine as a fast-casual dine-in as well. The employees were really friendly, and made sure to double check my order (and everything was there! I was shocked, as we had ordered a LOT of food). I really appreciated their care. Also, the tacos were bombbb, just as I remembered in DC. I got a mixture of tacos, but honestly couldn't eat all 3 plus chips in one sitting. My kids love their rice and beans too, and the queso is really everything I could hope for in a queso. Just really glad they finally made it down to the 757 and I don't have to wait until I'm in DC to get them!

I really wanted to like this place. However, my order was wrong and no one was willing to fix it. I didn't really understand the ordering process on the panel panels. And no one really explained it to you. They just direct you to the panel. Some of the items are on their multiple times, so you really don't understand what to order. I do like that you get more ingredients than the other places. I love the environment and the restaurant was super clean. I just wish that for the amount that I paid I would've got what I paid for. However, the ingredients were super fresh and it had potential. The meat was seasoned excellent as well.

Solid 3.5. Equal or better quality ingredients than Moe's but I hate paying for chips and salsa (esp $5/ea). Menu simple and easy to navigate. Don't expect a "welcome to _____" greeting or any staff interaction; it's so cold in there, employees are just trying to survive. Small but navigable parking lot. Dining room was clean, layout optimized for space and traffic flow.

Order was ready on time, well-prepared, napkins and silverware were readily available. Service kind and friendly, food was delicious. Chipotle mayo was a must.

The wait is ridiculous!! It's been 25 min and I'm still waiting. They are too busy filling deliveries. Not coming back.

Nice addition to the community! It can obviously be compared to Chipotle, though it's a much smaller chain based in DC. When we arrived, we were greeted by a slew of employees. One guided us to the ordering station where we browsed through their options to include tacos, burritos, breakfast, and more. We opted for the tacos and built 5 of our own to sample different proteins. It took longer than expected to receive our order, especially for the number of employees vs guests. Maybe they had an influx of online orders or one of the meats wasn't ready (I'm speculating here), but it certainly felt longer than we should've waited at a quick-service style restaurant. We were happy with our tacos once we tried them! Very filling and fresh. I would get the carne asada again. I really liked the guacamole and salsa, although I had to go back up to ask for the salsa as it was missing from our order. We also brought home some chips and queso, which satisfied my craving for a late night snack. Another small bummer was that their drink machine was out of order by the time we were ready for refills. Staff were working to repair it, but after waiting a while we decided to let it go and leave. Since they just opened, these kinds of mishaps are to be expected. We will definitely come back to support the newest addition to the growing Railyard District area.

Carne Asada Taco

Food was okay. Got 3 tacos - carne asada, pollo asada, and carnitas. Two were good but the chicken was bland. They seem to be following Taco Bell's lead and keeping contact with the staff to a bare minimum. You order from one of 6 tablet kiosks. Staff did not seem too interested in greeting you, chatting or making any eye contact. Note, I was the only customer in the place at the time. Really seem geared for to-go orders made online. The signage from the road feels like a local taco joint. The inside feels like taco franchise that can be dropped into any college town. Good or bad depending on your point of view. My hunt for good local tacos continues.

Steak taco

The food didn't look too appealing to my eyes, but it did have flavor. Enjoyed the chips and queso but don't have to order from this place again. I think I will stick to more authentic Mexican places.

If you prefer the watered-down, copy-paste "Mexican" food from a chain... well, Jose Tequilas is right down the street. Bless your heart. But if you want the real deal, read on: My Must-Try Recommendations: 1. The Frozen Margaritas -- THE BEST. Order the Jumbo Texas Frozen Margarita with salt. Trust me, it's dangerously good. 2. Shrimp Quesadilla -- LEGIT. Packed, flavorful, perfectly grilled. No one else comes close. 3. Chips & Salsa + the White Sauce + Queso This trio alone could be a standalone reason to come back. The white sauce? Magical. 4. Enchiladas Yolandas Soft, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. 5. Tacos de Pescados (soft corn tortillas) Add lettuce and crema... thank me later. Absolutely amazing. And this is just a glimpse of what I order on repeat. I LOVE this place. It's family-owned, the staff has been there for years, and the consistency is unmatched. You can taste the pride and care in every dish. Do I have wishes? Sure--I'd love to see a Mariachi band occasionally and maybe some branded hoodies (yes, I would absolutely buy one). Other than that... **I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING. ** Try it for yourself, support an authentic local gem, and let the amateurs head down the street to the chain restaurant. El Azteca is the real one.

I live about 30+ mins away but I remember the food being very good last time, so I didn't mind the drive at all. We were greeted by the host as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. Our server was wonderful. She was very pleasant and helped us with some of the questions we had regarding the menu items. We started with the Fresh Tableside Guacamole and it tasted great! We did order it with a "medium" spice level and it wasn't spicy at all but other than that, it was very good. Since the Street Tacos caught our eye, we both decided on those. We ordered the Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Carnitas, Chorizo, Camarón, Nopales and Lengua. The tacos were served with a variety of different sauces, ranging from sweet and mild to very spicy. Most of the tacos were delicious, our favorite was the Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Camarón. We weren't a fan of the Lengua, it was very dry, chewy and unflavored. Overall, we had a great experience. Our margaritas were amazing as well! I love the vibe of this restaurant and the food and service is always wonderful.

No one was at the front when we came in, so after waiting for a short time we just sat down in a near by booth. We later saw a sign that said to wait to be seated, but I guess it was ok this time. We started off with the guacamole. I havent eaten a ton of guacamole, but this was honestly the best I've had. Loved it! A+ all day! I ordered the Mango habanero We ordered the Mango Habanero wings and they were delicious! My husband ordered the Birria Taco and he said they weren't his favorite. My son that Birria burrito and that thing was huge! He really liked it. Very nice decor and great service, and I love the hall of lights going to the restooms! We plan to return.

The location is in a small strip (which seems odd from the outside), but the interior is gorgeously decorated! Tried the raspberry and guava margaritas, which had a good amount of tequila. The habanero sauce is VERY spicy which I appreciated. Lastly, the churros were amazing. I am not a huge fan of that dessert but these were delicious for the price and quantity. We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it ended up being one of those meals where everything just hit. First off, those margaritas are no joke. Massive, flavorful, and strong in the best way. Bonus: they do $2 off specialty margs on Mondays, which is dangerous knowledge now that I have it. I went with the Coco Loco Margarita (1800 coconut tequila, coconut milk, triple sec, and sweetened flaked coconut), and WOW. It was creamy, refreshing, and honestly tasted like a tropical vacation. My friends ordered the House Marg, Peach Sangria Marg and the Spicy Pineapple & Cilantro Marg, all were just as impressive. The spicy one had a great kick without being overwhelming, and the peach option was super smooth and fruity. Before we even ordered, the complimentary chips, salsa, and that famous white sauce came out ... and let me tell you, that white sauce is to die for. I could've eaten that all night. For my dinner, I had the asada enchiladas, and I'm still thinking about them. Perfectly cooked grilled steak laid over cheesy enchiladas with verde sauce, plus rice and black beans. I loved that the steak was on top because once I got full, I could still pick at the protein (elite move). My friends got arroz con pollo, carne asada tacos, and the wildest dish on the table ... the El Molcajete. It came out sizzling in a stone bowl loaded with shrimp, beef, chicken, chorizo, cactus, and all the fixings. We all shared bites and it was unreal. We ended the night with the staff singing happy birthday and completely embarrassing my friend with a sombrero and a candle in his shot. Incredible. Definitely will be coming back, especially for that margarita deal and birthdays!
