And give me all the heat! I can easily handle the hot, but medium is a safer choice for me. And it's Black-owned! I saw on the menu that they have the summer refreshers, so I'm sure those are great. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the honey butter paired perfectly with the cheddar. The fries were hot and fresh, making the meal even better. I also ordered food for my family, and it was their first time trying Roaming Rooster. Everyone loved it! It's always nice introducing people to a place that lives up to the hype, and this was definitely one of those times. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and our food came out fresh and made to order. The Bang Bang Chicken is fire! It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and paired really well with the sides. I came in starving, and by the time I finished, there wasn't a single crumb left in the container. The portions were fair, and everything tasted fresh. The only issue I experienced was with the restrooms. Neither the men's nor the women's bathroom had hand soap available. That's a hygiene concern that I hope management addresses as soon as possible. It made me wonder how employees and customers are able to properly wash their hands, and that's something no restaurant should overlook. The food was excellent, and I'd absolutely come back. I got a couple of shrimp egg rolls because I'm not a big shrimp eggroll eater. I ate them, but my mom had one tube she had half. The ambience of course it's always crowded so that's why we called in our order. And we got two half-and-half half iced tea half lemonade mix it's always great. I do think my only suggestion is I know they have a lot of foot traffic but provide a little more seating because sometimes people have medical conditions that require them to eat and you know diabetes in their blood sugar drops so it would be nice to have just a couple more tables and chairs. We got the French toast platter with scrapple, scrambled eggs, and home fries which are their grilled potatoes. We also got the waffle platter with crispy bacon.
