Hospitality is non existent at that establishment, if you're black or Hispanic don't expect the workers to greet you or have a good attitude while taking your order. Normally I don't pull the race card but when me and my Hispanic friend walked in they all looked at us and rolled their eyes and didn't acknowledge us however some white guest walked in after us and they all greeted them and was very sweet to them while being rude to me and my friend. read more

I have only visited this location twice. Tonight I went in to grab my dinner, each person working there looked as if they didn't want to be there. No one was polite or had good manners. When you are paying for your food you are asked if you want to round up your total to the Fireman, when I was asked I stated yes. While I was processing my transaction I could hear a young female employee talking with a male employee that I meaning myself could round up to the Fireman but couldn't tip them. I hadn't even completed my transaction, and was in the process of tipping said employees. When I was handed my sandwich I confronted the male employee and stated that I did overhear the young female talking, to which he then replied that they were talking about another employee, I then stated that I did indeed tip them for their services. The female cashier chose to look at me as if I was the crazy person for making a complaint. These days no one knows proper manners. This was uncalled for, and sounded nothing but entitled. As a patron I am not required to tip you but I did out of kindness and respect, to still be talked about and then told it wasn't what they were speaking of. People can hear you from behind your counter. Learn to be more cautious of your surroundings and instead of complaining learn to stay quiet when a customer is around then make your grievances to each other. read more

Look I appreciate anyone being willing to work during this pandemic but they need to step it up. We order rapid pickup because our 3 year old daughter has severe asthma and almost died from the flu last year. They had 5-6 people standing around with no masks waiting for pickups. They were serving a huge line of people first making it where I had to stand around for 20 minutes inside the busy restaurant waiting on my food with the other "rapid pickup" customers. Then they DO NOT have bottled drinks?! Just the Coke Freestyle where literally every customer is using the same uncleaned spout even for water. I'm watching people drink off their cups and put it right back in the machine to top it off. They had the drinks prepared when we had 1/4 of the cases, it's like people we just giving up. Also half the employees wearing the masks under their noses while making the food. The employees need to be given hazard pay but also held to a higher standard for the money. The job is harder now but it has to be done! read more

Stopped in for lunch at this Firehouse location. I went with a different sandwich choice from a special they had today, a medium Reuben for $6.39. Firehouse normally offers friendly service with a clean dining room and they are fast getting you your fresh made food after you order. This location was consistent in all those areas and is a place I will return when looking for a sub. read more

Well to start, I didn't appreciate the person checking (Saul) us out cussing at me. We walked it and he was like "oh sh*t" and "I couldn't f*cking hear you." We weren't rude or confrontational which is what threw me off. The other thing, subs were so tiny. Ordered a medium and it was smaller than my hand. This was my first time here. I have always wanted to check it out, but for some reason hadn't. Our experience could have been bad, but was turned into great service and great food. We placed our order and it came out wrong ( asked for no cheese, they put cheese on one sandwich) ( Asked for mushrooms on one sandwich and they left them out).. I went to the counter and explained the problem. They quickly made us a new order and then came out to our table later and asked if everything was okay and apologized. I felt we were treated well and I would go back. Mistakes happen and I am glad they owned their mistake and just fixed it without incident. This is a chain and it is just like all other Firehouse Subs. It is clean, friendly staff and across from the outlet mall. The food is higher quality then Subway and a little more in price too, but worth it. They have coke freestyle machines so you can get what you want. They have a lower calorie menu and salads if your opting to be healthy for the day. 4stars for being consistently clean, friendly and fresh. read more

None of the workers making your food are wearing masks. Even if the people in the restaurant aren't required to wear one, you'd think at least the people talking and breaking over your food would need to wear one, just for cleanliness standards, but definitely during a pandemic. read more

This is usually the best place to get a sub,but tonight it was far from it. I ordered the usual LG hook and ladder combo and the LG smokehouse brisket combo. After eating half of my hook and ladder I realized that there was something wrong. It was cold and not steamed as usual and with a large combo you should get a large cup, we got two small cups. The girl running the cash register came by to pick up the number and asked how's your subs and I explained that mine was cold and not hot. She apologized and said she would tell the person in charge. I figured he would offer to make a new hot steamed hook and ladder. But he gave me two cards for $2 off next purchase kind of an insult after spending $28 on two combos. For this amount the sub sandwich's needs to be right. With lots of other restaurants to choose from, I not sure if I will spend $28 dollars again for two sub sandwiches at Firehouse Subs! read more

This is the first time we tried ordering online and picking up for convenience. The sandwiches were great but we specifically asked for extra pickle spears. They gave us "no pickles" the receipt even states extra pickles. My wife assumed they would do their job and fill the order, but I guess that's too much to expect in Dawsonville. This location reopened under new ownership in 2/2018 after being closed for 6 months. I've been here twice since and both have been stellar. The food is fresh, the tables are clean, and the sauces are filled. My only complaint is that they don't have WiFi. read more
