I ordered a medium grilled chicken sub. It was alright. The chicken was rubbery and didn't taste like anything until I added salt and pepper. Tasted a little better than Subways but definitely inferior to DiBella's. I also think the portions are small. A medium fills me up but normally, I can only eat half of a medium sub at other places.

Really delicious. For a chain restaurant I had a lot of fun here. I thought the decor was fun and creative. I love that they heat up their subs. I had the italian sub and tried the chili. Both were good and satisfying. Would recommend.

This is the meatball sub. Almost like a calzone.

Conveniently located on the corner of the plaza across the shopping malls on Transit, their unique brand and logo stands out among the many stores located there. When we walked into the store, we immediately saw all the really cool firehouse signs, pictures, quotes and it really set the mood for us while eating there. Everyone greeted us, was polite and when the food came out it looked absolutely delicious. I was rushing to eat such good looking subs that I didn't great pictures but it was definitely worth it especially for the price. They wasted no time in getting this to us. The cheese in both subs melted into the toasted bread and gave a really nice gooey texture to it. The meatball went down especially well bite after bite, making me crave for more. Even the pickle tasted really good; not too sour, not overly soaked in water. Friendly/fast service, amazing atmosphere, this is definitely a new favorite go-to spot. Amazing place!!

With so many good pizza/wing/submarine places in the Buffalo its hard to give more than 3 stars for a Medium sized submarine at $7 that wasn't anything special . It truly lacked the taste and flavor you get at your local Non chain restaurants like Jonny C's NY Deli, Picasso's, Jim's Steak-Out and Mia Mangia. In my opinion the best submarine sandwiches are served on Costanzo's rolls which Firehouse Subs does not use. I prefer a real crispy toasted roll and had even asked for extra toast when I ordered and it was far from what you get at other places. The service was good, the drink fountain was nice, the décor and fireman theme is cute. Locally we have so many other options for the same price or a dollar or two more for a much bigger sandwich with a ton more flavor.

Wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was very delicious! Had heard about the place is random advertisement but there's none near where I live. Was in the area and figured I'd check it out. They have several sub options and side options, all priced really well. Definitely worth trying out if you have one nearby

I've never come here because their cinnamon rolls are so large, my roommate shares with me and my sweet tooth is satisfied. Recently, I went in to pick up someone else's order. It was my first time in there and I found it cute, with lots of natural light coming through. I'm not sure if it were the owner working, but whoever the lady was she was incredibly kind and upbeat; she even let me try a ham and cheese roll up croissant that was coming soon to the menu. I ate it on the go. It didn't make a mess at all and it was very good! It had something sweet to it so it wasn't dry, with I think some poppyseeds. It was a really nice blend of flavors and textures. Stop in and see what's in the display case :)

It'd been a couple years since I grabbed a treat from Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst. I'm happy…read moreto write the experience was very pleasant and the treats are just as delicious today! I stopped by on a Saturday around noon and was able to grab a parking spot practically right in front of the main entrance, but there's plenty of parking nearby thanks to the other businesses and stores nearby. I walked in and there were a few people dining in, plenty of tables to sit at . I really like the large windows, they lighten, brighten the interior and it's fun to sit, eat, and do some people watching. haha I noticed only one young lady working behind the counter, she was incredibly friendly, very warm and courteous - we chatted the whole time, she was so nice! So what did I order? Fall 2025, Kaylena Marie's re-introduced their "Specialty Rolls" with the big change being the size being "mini" compared to their normal cinnamon roll, which is HUGE. I have to say, I love the "mini" size, it really is the ideal size, pairs well with a scoop, or three, of ice cream. :) For the week of 11/18/2025-11/23/2025, the East Amherst bakery's "Specialty Mini Roll" was 'Mini Twix Roll', which is Kaylena Marie's roll drizzled with caramel and chocolate, filled with even more caramel and chocolate, then topped with crumbled Twix bar pieces and glaze. I ordered two, one for Saturday and one for Sunday. :) This roll reminded me how much I like a Twix bar, wow! The roll itself was soft, which the glaze, caramel, and chocolate only helped to soften even more. I suggest throwing the roll in the microwave for about 20 seconds to take the roll to a whole other level of deliciousness. The price for one "Specialty Mini Roll" is very reasonable, in my opinion, as it's a nice size and are fresh baked with great quality ingredients. Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst is a great café, still serving up delicious and gourmet food and treats. Plenty of parking, large, bright cheerful interior with friendly staff working. I look forward to coming back for the next "Specialty Mini Roll" that commands my attention!

My kids like to do customized toppings, they are also very good. The wings are good too, not as good as Bar Bill, but to the level of Santora's good. Recently they renovated some areas, I am pleased to see the beer tanks and batching. They probably needs to get the area more separated and better controlled, but it is exciting to see the new stuff. Service is always very good.

Around Christmas 2025, I bought a $50 gift card and was given a certificate for a free medium, one-topping pizza! I didn't know this promotion was going on so I was pleasantly surprised. The certificate was for pick-up only and had to be used by 03/31/2026 so I was running out of time by mid-March 2026. I saw Santora's had a pretty robust online ordering system but I wanted to use this gift certificate so I ended up calling the restaurant on a Saturday around 5:15pm. A pleasant woman answered the phone and after explaining the situation, she said no problem and took my order over the phone. She told me it'd be ready in 25 minutes and that all I needed to do was walk up to the host station at the main entrance. I arrived around 5:40pm to a busy parking lot but was still able to find a spot close to the entrance. I walked in and to the host station, told them my name and what I ordered, the young woman brought my order brought out to me and was on my way home, all within two minutes - Very quick! For my free medium (12", six slice), one-topping pizza, I went with a cheese and meatball pizza. This was where the rest of my experience went down. The pizza did not look good and, sadly, did not taste good either. When I opened the box, the pizza itself looked like a frozen pizza I would've bought at the grocery store. Everything about this pizza was dry and lacked any sort of substance, any heft/weight. There was barely any red sauce, so I couldn't really make out if it was more Buffalo-sweet or more savory, spicy. The cheese was lacking and the meatball topping was skimpy and lacking. The dough consistency leaned toward Buffalo-style being airy, chewy, but it was thinner than expected and the crust was more chewy than crispy, which I didn't mind. But the pizza overall was just, bland. Even the size of the pizza, it said 12", but I've gone to quite a few other pizza places around Buffalo and their small, 12" size pizza is more substantial that what I received at Salvatore's. I'm surprised how different this pizza was compared to when I ordered one and ate in the restaurant, there's quite a gulf in the quality between dine-in and takeout. I'm glad this pizza was free; I would have been upset if I paid for this. Generally, I like Salvatore's Pizza Pub and Grill, their dine-in experience is generally pretty good! The staff are courteous and friendly, very accommodating so no issues there. Their takeout pizza needs a bit of help though. For a restaurant that has the credentials of being one of Buffalo's original pizza shops, tonight's pizza was not a good reflection of that heritage. I won't be ordering takeout from here again but I wouldn't have an issue dining in if friends/family wanted to, but I'll be a little leery of ordering a pizza.
