Came in for a late lunch and went with a medium philly cheesesteak on white. It is very hard for me to pass on a philly whenever I see one so I've eaten a lot in my life across this great country of ours. Although I would say my philly was average, it was still decent. That was my first visit to Firehouse and plan on returning to try another sub on their very impressive menu. I thought the staff was very nice and made sure everything on the sandwich was alright with me and the food came out quick! We'll be back! read more

Quality sandwiches but expensive. This isn't Subway folks. My husband got a large meatball for around $8 but he added pepperoni and double meatball which together made the sandwich over $12. Added chips and a drink and it was almost $15. My medium Italian plus chips and a drink was about $9 so we spent $25 at a sandwich place. On the positive side they have about 50 different drink choices and a ton of "after order" hot sauces try out. Service was very good. read more

Good subs. I had the steak and peppers and onions (WITHOUT MAYO) very tasty. Friendly help. And their pickles are really good too.

Had the meatball sandwich, sweet and spicy. It was on point. The French bread is fresh and soft. Baked perfectly. I will definitely be back and try another one of their sandwiches. The Manager and crew were friendly. I like the coke machine, has hundreds of flavors to chose from. read more

Firehouse subs was a very great place too eat, walking in the workers all said together "10-12, welcome too firehouse". The workers were very friendly and sincere, upon ordering I asked if they had firefighter discounts which they did, which saved me a little money. While waiting on our food, we found a table and before we could even get too it one of the workers came too our table and gave it a quick wipe down before we could even sit down ( even though it was already clean) a very clean and friendly environment with great food and great prices. read more

I dont know if its because its 9pm and this is the first time im eating today, but this has to be the best thing ive ever tasted. Dramatic, yes... but so true!!! Okay so first of all i posted on facebook, where can i get a great sandwich? Majority of the replies suggested firehouse. I've never been, and love trying new places so of course i went. First of all the first thing i hear when i walk in is every employee's warm greeting. Kudos. They told me if i needed any help at all just ask. they were all just great and very helpful. You get the choice of wheat or white bread i liked that. I went with wheat. I dont remember what number it was, but i got a club on a bun. Its amazing. And big! Not un-filling like jimmy johns. So i go to get my drink while waiting on my sandwich, which didnt take long at all. The coke machines here are so fun!!! She called my name when my order was ready and i was still playing on the touch screen coke machine it was awesome. I got a cherry vanilla coke. Anyways i get my sandwich the lady was super sweet to me but that's not it there's more!! They have like a "sauce stand" with all these different hot sauces i got a little cup of 3 different ones to try, and there house hot sauce was way better then the 2 bottled hot sauces i tried. The food is great the sauce is great the employees were great even the coke machine lol. Cant wait to go back!!! read more

I had the New York Steamer; perfect blend of dressings on the sandwich. Very good. Sandwich was, I think $5.49 but the med. drink was $2.00 - that's where they make their money. Layout not good for ordering and it was full, but I ate on the patio, so it was fine. Better than Subway! read more

firehouse subs is the closest in Abilene to my favorite Jersey Mikes. Firehouse beats it competitors by offering a warm sub (not toasted) the customer service is beyond incredible there. its a good sandwhich for sure. read more
