The host was very kind and the wait was short. As always the sandwich was incredible, this is my 5th time eating here (first time coming inside) and I haven't been disappointed once. Fair pricing in my opinion, because they really load up the sandwiches and they are quite big. Not very busy when I visited at 6pm which I liked. Comfort: 4/5 - chairs are a little uncomfortable if you're a bigger person. Otherwise it's fine, very clean! Sensory Notes: 5/5 - natural light from large windows was easy on the eyes. No excessively loud noises, and music was the perfect volume. *all reviews are based on my personal experience as a disabled AuDHD girlie who wants to provide the kind of info I would look for myself* read more

When Capriotti's first came to town, I wasn't a big fan. The food is good, but just a little on the expensive side for you get. Here lately, I have changed my mind. They now have something on the menu called Duo's. I get half a sandwich and half a salad For $10. That's a great deal. The sandwich is always good, and the salad is even better. I always get the Capriotti chopped salad, which is the same as an Italian antipasto salad. With their red wine vinaigrette dressing, this salad is absolutely delicious! I have ordered it over and over. I always get the Italian sandwich, which is always a winner. With the duos special, there are several different combinations you can get. I will definitely be back, and I suggest you give them a try! read more

First time hearing of this place as I don't know of any in CA. I had the Bobbie with cranberry sauce. The only thing that could make this better would be gravy. My wife had the Chipotle chicken, which was also very good. The fries were thin and flat almost like chips and you can get grilled cheese sandwiches for free with the purchase of a regular sandwich. Perfect for little kids. The place got really busy after noon so keep that in mind. read more

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop - The Bobbie minus cranberry sauce - Sandwiches Near Me - Abilene, Texas

I tried Caprioti's a week ago; I ordered a medium-grilled Italian; it was delicious, but I only ate half since it was huge. Today, I checked their website and found four sandwich options that caught my attention: Homemade turkey, classic Italian, homemade tuna, and vegetarian cheese stake. So, I went to the shop and tried the small portion of the homemade turkey and the classic Italian. My favorite was the classic Italian; it is served with fresh vegetables and the perfect portion of meat. I requested some pepper relish, which elevates the sandwich to another dimension. This place is unlike Jimmy Johns or Subway; they have a distinctive flavor. Also, customer service is probably the best part of eating at Caprioti's. Trina, the main cashier, is the best: Always attentive, calling you by your name with a contagious smile. read more

The food was delicious as always, the staff seemed very nice and the restaurant was clean. Not much more you can ask for! They have several options for various diets. My husband eats only plant based and he loved the plant based cheesesteak (minus the cheese and mayo of course to keep it plant based). I really liked my wagyu beef French dip sandwich (I'm possibly butchering the official name of it) The portions are huge and you can see it right when you order. The fries though we didn't realize how large they were and I'm glad we didn't each get one- one portion is a huge drinking cup like an extra large cup full! read more

Great place to sit and eat with a group. Price are a little on the high side for sandwiches. Really light the light bar read more

If you are not from the NE or Vegas you probably have not heard of Capriottis ! Trust me this is best cheesesteak you will find anywhere in Texas. The chicken cheesesteak is also great. They have added to their list, the Capripastrami was very good. If you have not hit Caps you are missing out I happen to think these are better than the Philly Cheesesteak you hear so much about in Philadelphia. So glad someone in family open this place in Abilene! read more

This place is awesome! I'm glad Abilene got a Capriotti's franchise. Their sandwiches are really good and fresh. I've been in Abilene 2 and a half years and haven't come across a good real Philly. Most of the ones in town are good. The one here is awesome. They also have good service. I came in on the 1st week and they were slammed, like any new business in Abilene. I'm someone will bitch about that. Seems to be what some in this town complain about. Don't listen to the noise. This place is good . I'm glad they opened this and wish them well on their new adventure. read more

Pretty darn good sandwich! They run big. I ordered the small but could have managed the mini. I ended up taking half to go.

Nice and quiet food was amazing. The customer service was on point the cashier welcomed me and smiled.

Terrible terrible, Just terrible. I've been waiting in the sand shop for 30 minutes and I ordered it online like an hour and a half ago and I want to go ask if my food is ready and they said they lost it. I don't even know how you lose it it's in their system. It's just terrible don't ever come here. I'm not recommending it. read more

First time I went the got multiple orders wrong, my sandwich (classic Italian)had nothing but bread and meat, and the bread is not a quality bread. Second time I went they made the sandwich correct but still messed the orders and even tho the sandwich was better (Philly cheese steak) the bread still not of my liking. I usually give restaurants a second chance which I did with them but I won't go back for a third time. read more

Dead ass just waited 45 minuets for a 8" sub. Almost went back there and made it my self

I wish they offered gluten free bread. Super disappointing because there are so many quality GF food supplier options. I love supporting local businesses and y'all are missing a huge market. read more

The Subs and Salads were good and the pick up was easy The only thing that I have to complain about was that the service was a little bit Lacking But besides that I wouldn't mind coming back again. read more

First time trying this place tonight and they forget to put the Au Jus sauce in the bag for my French Dip. You literally had one job and you failed! When I called to tell them, of course it was the fake apologies and wanting me to spend my time and gas to come back there to make up for their incompetence. They refused to refund the order and refused to send me what I ordered via Doordash. I will NEVER come back here! Absolute garbage service! I hope this place doesn't last long in Abilene. read more

The food is good but service not so much. This is the second time I ordered online, go in, tell them my name and that I had an online order. They say give us a minute, so I wait, and wait and wait. Finally I go up there after seeing other people walk in the door and get their food faster than me. They say, oh, here it is, it's been sitting here behind the counter. They never called out my name saying my order was ready. What a waste of time. So now my fries are cold. The sandwich, the Cole Turkey was good though. If I go back I'll eat in and not order online, for some reason that is the issue each time. read more

This restaurant was newly opened when I visited. Not impressed... if you like expensive bread sandwiches with very little meat and taste then this might be good for you. They need to give you your monies worth. It's a rip off. Needs major improvement with taste and actually putting meat on the Italian sub. All bread and no meats! Service was slow but staff was friendly. I can't and won't go back. Restaurant was clean because it's new. read more

The food is good. The prices are good. But the services is horrible. I stood for several minutes watching7 people ignore the register. Finally a lady from the crowd broke off and I told her I had a pick up order. She remarked about how busy they have been (they say that every single time) and that my order was not ready. I am handicapped so I order ahead to avoid this. So I look at the table they are assembling and there are 8 different piles of food on the counter. I watch my grilled cheese sandwiches get iced cold as they fumble through the orders. With 7 people there should be absolutely no backlog even in the busiest of times. Finish one order, then move to the next. Restaurant 101. Before you think that I am just a Karen, I have owned a bakery a café, and I am a train chef who attended culinary school. I know how to run a restaurant. As much as I like the food, I don't think I will be coming back. I don't need the aggravation. I ordered at home at 1:25, they said it would be ready at 1:45. I sat waiting for the one sandwich I needed to complete my order to be done. By 2:00 my leg was hurting so bad I asked for a refund. No one knew how to do a refund on a card. Even the manager. It took them an additional 12 minutes to figure out how to give me my refund! This is beyond aggravating!!!!!!! read more

Awesome food and service. Love the Bobbie sandwich. The cheesesteak sandwich had great flavor and liked the fries also.

Amazing customer service! The staff is very welcoming and quick making it a great first impression. The size of the sub is large and well worth the price. Very family friendly location and clean as well. I will definitely be back! read more

If you like hot French fries don't order them here. Today was the first time going to this restaurant and I have to say I was very disappointed. it took about 25 minutes for me to receive a BLT and a order of fries to go, the fries were discarded in the trash can as I left with my order. As I sat there waiting for my order, with only two other people in the restaurant before me, I noticed the people getting the orders ready putting French fries in the bag for my order ( unrealized at the time) after about 5 minutes from when I ordered, as well as what looked like phone orders that we're being prepared. so the fries just set there for how ever long it takes to make the sandwich (my BLT) about 25 minute. after about 20 minutes of waiting I returned to the counter to see how much longer it would take to make my BLT and was told only a little longer because they had to wait for room to open up on the grill to toast the bread. then when it was finally done one of the young ladies put my sandwich in one of the bags that had my fries in it for the past 20 minutes. to her credit it she pulled the fries out of the bags and appeared asked one of the gentleman something and then put the fries back in the bag and handed it to me. I asked if they were going to serve me these cold fries and she replied would you like some new ones. I replied Lourdes enough for everyone to hear no thank you I will just do a review on this place. So if you ever wonder why your fries are so cold for your order it might be they are cooking them ahead of time and putting the in the bag and not keeping them under a heat lamp till your entire order is ready. i woul say I was surprised the manger didn't come talk to me, but seeing how the orders are done it's not a surprise at all. read more
