Really great Cajun Jambalaya. Located inside the Farmers Market. Great spices but not overpowering. Free sample and two size proportions.

Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had…read more Huge fluffy Japanese milk bread with a folded scrambled egg and Korean inspired fillings. The egg was super fluffy and not dry at all and the sauces added so much flavor but you could taste every ingredient. We got the classic which was really good. And we got the one with pork belly which was my favorite the meats smokiness perfectly balanced out everything. Also we ordered ahead of time and it sat for a long time without getting too soggy before we ate it!

They are…read moreincredibly creative with their menu, and their "premium toasts" on fluffy Japanese milk bread are on a completely different level than your standard breakfast sandwich. The Standouts: * Oh My Gogi: This is a best-seller for a reason. The beef bulgogi and kimchi combo provides a perfect umami punch that balances out the rich eggs and cheese.  * Playin' Dirty: My personal favorite. The spicy pork belly is absolutely packed with flavor, and the addition of okonomiyaki sauce makes it so unique. * The "Ube-Bee": You have to try their new specialty Ube sandwich. It uses vibrant purple Ube French toast with bacon, eggs, cheese, and a hash brown patty, all drizzled with miso maple syrup. It's the ultimate sweet-and-savory combo and looks amazing.  * Yuzu Egg Salad: I'm usually not even an egg salad person, but this one is surprisingly good. The secret has to be the Yuzu Kosho (Japanese citrus pepper salt)--it adds a bright, zesty kick that cuts through the creaminess perfectly.  The Vibe: The presentation is 10/10--these sandwiches are basically made for Instagram. It's also a huge plus that they open at 8 AM, making it a reliable option for an early breakfast before the Nashville crowds really start moving.

Didn't feel like I was right in the heart of bustling East Nashville - felt like a little retreat. The service was great and so patient with us as we were quite indecisive. Especially since it was a new menu and there were no pics online (then I totally forgot to take pics to help future yelpers not fall to my fate, alas!). I landed on the French Toast Bread Pudding. It was quite heavenly, but I do wish it was a bit bigger for the price... My friends both got the Avocado Toast and a few of us ordered sides of chicken sausage (and yeah, that was good and they were also a good size, plus 3 links were included in each order). We finished quite quickly but were in a deep convo about who knows what, but never felt rushed to leave (probs as it was kind of between service times, but still, appreciated). Def need to go back for Dinner and another little retreat!

Ambiance : 5/5 They had amble indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate small intimate tables and larger groups. We opted for indoor seating for the cushion seats. Food/Drink 5/5 Outstanding meals with a Michelin Star presentation. I had the Halibut dish and my wife had the Beef tenderloin. They change the menu seasonally. Service : 5/5 Mallory was very pleasant and attentive. She got out orders right and even brought us a complementary champagne toast to celebrate our 7th year anniversary Conclusion : Not a cheap night out but if you want an eclectic dining experience give it a go

This spot has a real dive bar vibe with many locals here. For food, we ordered Joe's Hot Chicken ($10) and Cheeseburger ($8) with Bacon ($2) and Egg ($2). We also got a basket of Fries ($5) made Animal Style (+$5). It's an open kitchen, so you get to watch the food being grilled, especially being seated at the counter. The hot chicken came with three pieces, but I found the meat quite dry and needed the sauce a lot. The cheeseburger is solid though, but quite standard. Surprisingly, my favorite thing here was the animal fries, but just a tad too drenched with sauce too. I was just expecting more for the food since they're so popular for their hot chicken and burgers. Of course we also had a couple drinks. I had a Mezcal Margarita ($13) and Four Roses Ginger Beer Mixed Drink ($8), which were decent. The cups are pretty tiny and most filled with ice. For a dive bar, it's not really worth it either. The add-ons and extra are also quite pricey and not really worth it either.

Food was good, starting with their pimento cheese and chicken bcnuggets. I found the chicken to be most interesting out of the two - a fun and elevated take on a chicken nugget, especially if you like dill! For the entrees, we split the Spanish octopus and chicken forestiere. Octopus had great flavor, but we found it to be a bit small for its price point. The chicken forestiere, on the other hand, was a great portioned dish with phenomenal flavor. A must have from our perspective! We ended the meal with the banana pudding, which was fantastic. Drinks were very good, however, we felt the old fashioned was a bit overpriced at $25. We also felt the service was a little lacking - food was timely, but drink service was slow....waited for a second glass of wine for quite a while. Overall, giving this one a 4/5.

Suddenly I was hyped. Started off with a Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade for me (I don't drink alcohol, but exceptions were made), and OMG French Toast for the table. I pivoted to the Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade for a second dreamy beverage treat. The server sensed that one wasn't hitting the same (the limeade was SOOOO strong), so she swapped it out for me--back to another Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade! Without me asking. Figuring out what the diner needs and handling it before the diner asks (or was never going to change) - that's service! Brunch food I went for the Protein & Veggie Egg White Omelet and OMG, the chicken sausage in this thing was next-level. I even tried to make chicken sausage when I got home--and nailed it. Despite being called a "bird of an eater," I finished the entire omelet too because *determination* ya'll. The vibe was as hoped for, the outdoor seating was chill, and even my picky eater companion finished her Goldilocks porridge which looked warm, nutritious, and satisfying. If you're in East Nashville, this spot is a must. I'll definitely be back on my next trip!

My friend and I both had the Biscuits and Gravy which was Southern-style toasted biscuit smothered in house-made rosemary sausage gravy, served with two sunny-side up cage-free eggs. It was so good!
