Friendly and fast service, which is perfect. You just park real quick and then you're home enjoying your food. I love that the food is always delicious and consistent. The area has been experiencing snow flurries, rain, and lightning and this past Sunday, Constant Smoke closed early at 5 pm and will be closed the rest of the week due to weather. I am counting the days! With that said, calling ahead wouldn't hurt if storms are forecasted. read more

Love the food!! We live nearby and I drive by this place every single day as it's directly on the main road of Lebanon Pike. So happy we stopped here for some lunch on Memorial Day! The food is absolutely delicious & big portions! My brother and I both had the bbq chicken, which is grilled and then cut open.. stuffed with cheese and brisket, then wrapped in 3 pieces of bacon & thrown right back on the grill! Sheesh . Huge shoutout to the owners whom are super friendly + welcoming! 5 stars across the board! Great choose of music playing, too!! I picked up a rack of ribs a little early, 4:30, on Wed. Kept them warm in a 200 degree oven for 1.5 hours and they were delicious! The flavor was spot on and they were tender. read more

EXCELLENT BBQ! Nashville MUST TRY!!!! (read below how we found this place) Wife and I both ordered the Brisket platter with Baked Beans and Coleslaw. We were in heaven after the first bite...seriously, I like to say that I am a BBQ expert and I would easily say that I never had any better! The Brisket was slow smoked and tender with a burnt edge. He added a little sauce on top that was perfect. It was light and not to sweet with a little spice (no heat). OMG...I could go on and on! The Beans and Coleslaw took a back burner but were not bad. Both were just a good component as a side. I wouldn't write about either of them. Of course I had to compliment the owner (unfortunately I didn't get his name). Of cousre, he was Tennessee friendly along with the great accent. He said, "Now, I am just saying this but "my Ribs are the best ever". I sell them only by the Full Slab and I know you probably wouldn't want BBQ twice in one day." I said, "You don't know me. I can eat BBQ every day. So, give me a slab to take with us." He wrapped the slab in a special Aluminum Foil wrap that was made specifically for a slab of ribs. During the ride back to the RV (see below), I could smell the smoke and knew it was going to be good. Later that evening we warmed a half rack up for 2 of us. We had to use the microwave (aghhhhhhh) but they still turned out to be the ABSOLUTELY BEST RIBS EVER!!! SERIOUSLY...INCREDIBLE! How we found CONSTANT BBQ! We are on vacation in our RV and visited Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. We have tried all of Nashville food excluding BBQ. I searched for BBQ restaurants and several in downtown area appeared. We are staying closer to Hermitage than downtown. I didn't want to drive back and forth in traffic. So...I kept searching for a closer place. Well, I noticed a "Famous Daves" restaurant very nearby and "Constant BBQ" that was rated high but it was a food truck style with picnic tables in a gazebo type setting. I told my wife about it thinking she wouldn't want to try it. Surprisingly, she said "we are on vacation, let's g for it!". Well, I will say that it was one of the best decisions we made in 3 weeks of vacation! I will remember this meal(s) over more than all the others combined! So...to end, the food and even the outside seating is great for a BBQ place! I personally would put this place as a must visit along next to Hatties-B hot chicken. It is a NASHVILLE MUST TRY! Don't let the "food truck vibe" scare you! read more

Almost missed Constant Smoke because we were looking for a store front. Constant is in a good trailer. In a plumbing supply store parking lot. Glad we turned around. Great hospitality and best BBQ. We enjoyed the BBQ Brisket Sandwich plates. I picked baked beans and coleslaw. Decent sized lunches. I was hungry and wished I had paid the extra for the Jumbo portions. Constant has a small, covered deck big enough for a picnic table. Weather was nice so we enjoyed our lunch outside. For the owner of this gem of a BBQ stand, I'll give him a GO TITAN's. read more

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Was recommended by another local and the most solid recommendation ever given. Set up is a small trailer and has a small patio set up off the side to sit down in, but great to grab & go. Service was quick! I'm a saucy girl, especially with BBQ but this spot has one of the best sauces, and ONLY sauce as far as I know. It isn't super sweet, not too thin or thin. Perfect compliment to the meat. Smoked Meats, 5/5. Sides, 2/5. Got the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Brisket. Loved the both. Great flavor, portion size and value. I don't know how he keeps his prices so reasonable. The owner is super friendly, as lots of people mention. The sides are pretty boring (we got the potato salad and beans), but you didn't come here for the sides! Here we are pulling up to a restaurant starving only to find out they were a victim of the flood. Diving back into Yelp we found this place and seen it was closing in 12 minutes and we were 9 minutes away. We called the number listed and expect the wort. We received the opposite, he said "come on, I will hold the door for you" We arrived and were undecided about what we wanted so we ordered everything on the menu. I used to eat here all the time when I lived near by and never forgot how delicious it is! I stopped the other day and picked up pork and brisket, currently eating leftover brisket and its better than it was the day I bought it! Seriously melt in your mouth! We also picked up the macaroni and 5 cheeses! Five stars for the five cheese mac! I need to make a special trip over there more often. read more

Every time family comes to see me in Nashville I take them here. This time I had my cousin and two nieces. We got chicken, pork, and brisket sandwiches. Everyone left happy. This is a must stop if you are anywhere in the area. I recommend any sandwich, nachos, AND ALWAYS the ribs! read more

Long day of work and the two of us were starving. Grabbed 2lbs of pulled pork, and 2 lbs of the brisket. 53$ after tax, the bag felt too light to to fill my craving, let alone have to share. Less the container weight, and we were over half a pound short. Pork is SUPER smokey, more so than the other places around town. Wish I would have read the 1 star reviews before I went. We have driven past so many times since moving to the area we figured we would stop well I've never been so disappointed. I've gotten better BBQ from a gas station!! Don't waste your money. They seriously must have gotten their friends to give a bunch of good reviews because the food is crap. read more

Pulled pork is juicy and flavorful and the ribs were the best I've ever had. The BBQ sauce is sweet and tangy and mild enough for me (although they go much hotter!) and even though the hickory smoked meats don't need it, it's so yummy you will want to go ahead and pour it on. I feel like a fat kid going on and on about ribs and bbq as it's really not my style, but this place has made me a believer. BEST BBQ IN TOWN read more

Wow! Everything was delicious. Tender brisket, fall off the bone ribs, and the pulled pork disappeared first. Nice smokey flavor without being overpowering. Really good baked beans and potato salad. Personally didn't care for the coleslaw but I generally don't. Seemed creamy with a good crunch so if you like that go for it. They aren't lying when they say you don't need the sauce, but it was a good compliment. The hot one is hot! To go food only. No seating. BBQ from a trailer? Yup. And it is darn fine BBQ too! Certainly one of the best BBQs East of Nashville. Sausage is literally one of the best I have ever had. Brisket is tender with a tasty bark. Ribs are smoked perfectly. Outdoor picnic seating only. Get some take-out on the way home and enjoy it for dinner. read more

Here in town for one night. Checked out Yelp and found this BBQ shack/truck. Two of us shared a rack of ribs, sausage, potato salad and beans. We ate half of everything and have leftovers for tomorrow. Well....maybe if one of us doesn't sneak in and finish it all off at midnight. Succulent rib meat that fell off the bones accompanied by a lovely sauce that was an extra since you didn't need it. May be the best ribs I've ever eaten. And trust me, I've eaten ribs! Potato salad and beans were a great accompaniment. Made us wish we lived closer. read more

Best BBQ that I've had outside of Texas!! I had the jumbo smoked brisket sandwich and I must say that although it comes with either spicy or regular sauce there's no sauce necessary!!! Love this little bbq stand. We stop by every time we are nearby. We love our bbq and I'm very picky about it. The owner really knows how to cook and how to serve his pulled pork sandwiches. The sandwiches are piled high with really great pork and a really tasty sauce. We always ask for coleslaw on our sandwiches and that too is de-lish. The owner is a very jovial guy and always treats us right. I have read the other reviews and it makes me want to try everything but it's hard to beat those warm, generous and tasty sandwiches. read more

Got the pulled pork combo with Potato Salad and Baked beans. Only thing that was actually good was the Potato Salad. It was the only thing I finished. The Baked Beans wasn't good. I think Bush's Baked Beans would have been better. . My husband had brisket Combo. He said it was okay. I've had better for less but We Won't be back. read more

The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spots open on a mid-week morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. Nadeen's feels familiar and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time, he was gracious and hardworking. My husband ordered the Southwest Scramble and I had the Farmer's Skillet. Both were delicious but we both agreed that mine was the better of the two. The biscuit was baked perfectly and was so fluffy. The gravy and potatoes were delicious, too. Our coffee cups were never empty, either. Not to mention, the coffee here is really good! We will definitely be back!

I wouldn't come again as I feel maybe other spots could be better.

I rolled up to the drive-through window to be greeted by a less enthusiastic teenager who seemed to bothered I was even there. I told her today's my first time here what do you recommend... And she just looked at me and said what kind of meat do you want? She wasn't able to answer any of my questions, and she was not friendly at all. While I was ordering, she was staring off, not writing anything down and then when she told the cook, what my order was, she had to come back twice to ask me what I wanted again. I told her there was only two of us eating and I wanted to try a little bit of everything and she just stared at me so I just ordered a 2 pound meal that came with sides. I asked her if I could get half turkey half pork and she said yes. I ordered beans and potato salad and got a loaf of cornbread. I received the food pretty quickly, so that's a plus! About an hour later, I begin to prep the food for dinner and noticed it was all pork. So I called and said hey can I come back down and exchange this? I was supposed to have half pork half turkey.. The manager on the phone told me to bring the food and the receipt and I could get it fixed, so I drove down there and she tells me that it's going to be an up charge for the difference. It's going to be a little more than what I paid. Mind you I don't even have shoes on, I was in the middle of preparing dinner and jumped in the car to come down there to fix their mistake... So I told her I don't have my wallet. I don't even have shoes on, and the girl never told me there was a higher fee for that... Not to mention I just drove back down here because of your mistake. I was pretty appalled that they took the meat, typically if food has been taken all the other places I've been to have said just keep it. We can't take it back... But we'll get you a new one. Not saying I wanted free food or ask anything extra... But it did make me wonder what they were doing with the pork that had been to my house, opened repackaged and taken down there. So then I asked for more barbecue sauce because with 2 pounds of meat, they only gave me two little shot glass containers of barbecue sauce. She then asked me if I wanted to buy a jar of barbecue sauce, to which I replied, no I'd like to have more barbecue sauce for the 2 pounds of meat that I bought from you. Anyway, long story short, the turkey ended up being dry, the pork was good and the rest was just OK. I spent $73, so needless to say I was pretty annoyed that night.

I came down to Nashville for work and found this fantastic BBQ cart on Yelp. All the great reviews are justified by the meal I had-- the pulled pork absolutely melts and is wonderfully juicy even without the little bit of sauce, though the sauce is the perfect complement. Hands down the best BBQ I have had. I'll be returning tomorrow, and after that at least once more before heading back to the West Coast. If you're in the Nashville area, it's absolutely worth stopping by for the amazing food and friendly owners. Thanks Tim! read more

On their recommendation, we leave it in the bag til we get home. They are always tender and moist. But, I think the thing that makes this location special is the people. The very first time we came through, the sweet woman working the drive through made us feel like she was happy to see us, and grateful for our business. The one time we came and they were out wings, she said call ahead and they'll hold some for us. So tonight, I called ahead and got myself a tray with my name on it, and we were welcomed like family.
