So amazing! Brisket was so juicy and tender!!! Was on vacation from Los Angeles and probably on of my favorite brisket bites I've had. We ordered to go and order was prepared pretty quickly. The corn is almost like a soup/caldo and it is a twist on corn I've never tried before and sooo yummy. Fries were AMAZING! Will definitely be going back next time I'm in TN!

Stopped by for their half-price Bushwacker special offered every Wednesday. Sat at the bar from the outside covered patio. Nice to see the restaurant busy! Fantastic service by the female bartender with the long dark hair. She was right on top of things! I'd guess parking may be difficult at times, yet we've never had a problem. It's located at the train stop on Lebanon Pike in Donelson.

Great Spot For Barbecue I stopped into Edleys on Lebanon Pike to try out some of their barbecue dishes. This location is close to BNA and hotels near the airport. Edley's has locations in Nashville and other areas of Tennessee. On this visit, I was looking for something different from my usual barbecue staple,s which are brisket, ribs and steaks. I ordered the Chicken Platte,r which comes with half a smoked chicken, a side of beans, coleslaw, corn bread and pickles. The chicken was very flavourful and was a very healthy portion, and I was almost unable to try the beans and the cornbread. Overall, it was a decent-sized meal that I was barely able to finish. Edleys makes great chicken, and I would try it again if I have a chance to go back.

My first visit to Edley's was fantastic! There are a few parking spots in the front for pickup orders, but plenty of parking behind the building. This location has a laid back, casual vibe with counter service and a full bar. I visited on a busy weekday evening, but the line to order moved quickly. After grabbing our drinks, it was only a few minutes before our food arrived. I ordered the smoked turkey plate with green beans, mac n cheese and cornbread. The turkey was smoked to perfection and was a huge portion. The mac n cheese had a great breadcrumb topping. I don't usually like coleslaw, but the small side that arrived with my meal was delicious!! Our group also tried the BBQ fries, which were incredible. After just one visit, I made sure to download the app -- I'll definitely be back!

This is a must in Nashville they have the best pulled pork sandwich.#1 Always good and exactly wat u wer looking forward to. Everything goes together so well and the flavor is all there... Good service good people. Always clean and well kept and good vibes. BEST PULLED PORK SANDWICH IN NASHVILLE..

Tennessee Lager hit the spot, just hate to have to stand there at the bar instead of having it served.

Edley's BBQ - Lebanon Pike Stopped in for dinner and the experience was solid but not standout. The food overall was ok, but several items lacked the flavor I was hoping for. The brisket was tender enough but didn't have much depth or smoke. The ribs were nicely cooked and tender, but again, light on seasoning. Beans were good, potato salad was decent, and the smash burger landed somewhere in the middle. The ordering setup wasn't my favorite -- ordering before sitting down and having to go to the bar for a beer took away from the experience. Nothing was bad, but nothing really popped either. Good, not great.

Decided on Edley's BBQ on Lebanon Pike for Dinner. Ordered the Brisket Platter with lean Brisket, added 3oz smoked turkey for an up charge with potato salad & coleslaw. The Brisket came with a little sauce in it, but it was really good plain. Tender and melt in your mouth. Excellent Brisket. The potato salad was very good with large chunks of potato and awesome flavor. The coleslaw was different, but good. Not my favorite and kind of sour, a little different, but would probably go best with pulled pork. The turkey was an absolute amazing surprise. This was real turkey breast, not that pieced together lunch meat they smoke and slice. This was incredibly delicious and worth it. My wife also got the Brisket Platter with beans and potato salad. She loved everything. Unfortunately I found out the turkey is not the same at all the locations. That was incredibly disappointing. I would definitely return to this location. I did try another Edley's location and that experience was not good. This location had solid food and great service.

2nd time visiting this establishment in Nashville the other time was at a different location. Both times however have been really good. This time we tried different things my husband had the turkey platter with green beans and baked beans. I had the catfish platter and every thing was served hot and fresh the macaroni was really good better than expected. The service was good and the staff friendly. We will return

Ok!!!! Better than I expected. A great view of catfish.

I couldn't wait after my last review to try the catfish dinner....5 pieces of small fish. It was OK. My catfish sandwich was a lot better before. Sides: Cornbread 4 Mac: 3, Grits Casserole: 5, Potato Salad: 3 Banana Pudding: 5!! Amazing value for money. Especially Uber Eats deal. I love the attention to service and packing. You can tell that everything was double checked. I can't wait to try the bbq.

We came here for a short weekend trip and had to get some good barbecue that is hyped up in this city! It was very confusing to order and the lady was pretty impatient with us so we got everything. We got the platter with one of each meats of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn, fries and banana pudding. My favorite was the pulled pork and ribs- both tender and flavorful. The brisket was a little fatty and tough which was not to my liking. For the sides the mashed potatoes and corn were disgusting (also not a fan of sweet potatoes and the corn was watery). The banana pudding was a 100000/10. I never had pudding before and that was life changing. The mac and cheese and fries were average. Overall for the price and quality this place is worth it! You cant go wrong with getting any of the meats here. We paid like $60 for everything and it was well worth it!

Highly recommended by multiple sources, we ventured from Opryland to Edley's BBQ prior to hitting the Grand Ole Opry. I know we are tourists, but we definitely enjoyed our time in music city, hanging with the locals and devouring some great food. Tennessee BBQ (ribs and brisket) at this joint is saucy, super tender, full of meat flavor and nicely coupled with some ice cold craft beer. Loved the coleslaw, collard greens and corn bread too. Pricing seemed reasonable, and although you stand in line to order, the follow up service was super attentive and all of the staff were pleasant. Southern hospitality charm coupled with great tasting generous portions, this place is a winner.

I gave Edley's BBQ two chances, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. On Father's Day, I stopped by for a to-go order. There was no clear signage indicating where to place to-go orders if you're parked in the main lot behind the restaurant. After figuring that out, I ordered a chicken sandwich and specifically requested it plain. The order was entered correctly on the receipt. When I got back to my hotel and took a bite, I discovered it had pickles on it. I hate pickles. Unfortunately, it was late and the restaurant had already closed, so I couldn't return it. The next day, I decided to give Edley's another chance since it's close to my hotel. This time, I ordered a cheeseburger plain with cheese only. Again, the receipt was correct. I got back to my hotel, took a bite, and once again found pickles on my burger. At that point, I drove back to the restaurant for a replacement. The cashier seemed very nonchalant about the situation. I explained that my Father's Day meal had also been made incorrectly and that this was now the second day in a row with the same mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, but getting a simple plain order wrong twice in a row is frustrating. Based on these experiences, I won't be returning. I'd rather drive an extra 10 minutes to a fast-food restaurant than take another chance here. Update: As of July 7, 2026, I still have not received any response from the establishment after being advised to contact Mr. Gustavo by email which I did on 06/28. I have checked my inbox as well as my Spam and Junk folders, and there has been no communication. I also want to point out that this was technically the third attempt to resolve this matter and hopefully get things handled correctly. Unfortunately, this has been very disappointing.

You know the vibes a Carrie Bradshaw moment but make it Nashville style. I found this place via instagram and read all the great reviews and decided to get out and try it. A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect. A destination restaurant hiding inside a destination resort…read more When people think of the Gaylord Opryland, they usually think of the stunning indoor gardens, waterfalls, and sprawling atriums. What they may not realize is that tucked inside this incredible resort is one of the finest old-school steakhouses in Nashville. Old Hickory Steakhouse exceeded every expectation. A group of us settled in for what turned into a leisurely four-and-a-half-hour dinner, and honestly, it never felt rushed. It was the kind of evening where conversation flowed, wine glasses stayed full, and every course gave us another reason to linger a little longer. The dining room has timeless steakhouse elegance. Crisp white tablecloths, attentive but unobtrusive service, and gorgeous views overlooking the resort's indoor gardens make it feel like you're dining in a hidden oasis rather than inside a convention hotel. And then there's the food... We ordered enough to experience nearly every corner of the menu. The bone-in ribeye was beautifully marbled with a deeply caramelized crust and that rich, buttery flavor ribeye lovers chase. The tomahawk was every bit the showstopper. Perfectly aged, sliced for sharing, incredibly tender, and cooked to a gorgeous medium-rare. It was one of those centerpieces that makes everyone at neighboring tables stop and look. The double-cut pork chop deserves its own applause. Thick, juicy, perfectly grilled, with just enough char to add smoky depth while staying remarkably moist. The filet was everything a filet should be--fork tender with an elegant sear. The scallops were another standout. Beautifully caramelized with a golden crust while remaining silky and sweet inside. They disappeared almost immediately. We also shared the steak tartare, which was expertly prepared and beautifully balanced, followed by an artisan cheese selection that made a wonderful transition before dessert. The sides easily hold their own. The lobster mac and cheese was unapologetically rich and creamy. The loaded baked potato arrived overflowing with all the classic steakhouse indulgence. The French onion soup was deeply savory beneath its bubbling blanket of beautifully browned cheese. Even the Caesar salad impressed, served with crisp whole romaine leaves generously dressed and finished with plenty of Parmesan. Fresh warm rolls with whipped butter started the evening exactly the way every great steakhouse should. Dessert somehow found room despite all of that. The coconut cake was enormous, impossibly moist, layered with coconut, and paired with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It's absolutely meant for sharing, although you may not want to. Service throughout the evening was polished, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. No one hurried us despite the length of our dinner, and every course arrived with impeccable timing. Yes, it's a splurge. But restaurants like this aren't simply about eating dinner. They're about slowing down, celebrating, sharing stories, and remembering why classic steakhouses have endured for generations. If you're staying at the Gaylord Opryland, don't make the mistake of leaving the resort for dinner. One of Nashville's best dining experiences may already be waiting just steps from your room. Life is simply too short not to eat well and travel well. Old Hickory Steakhouse lets you do both.

We chose to go to The Library, which is located within The Old Hickory Steakhouse, simply because we liked the name -- we figured a bar called The Library would be quiet and chill, and it was. All the cocktails had literary names and puns, such as Life of Chai, Gift of a Magi, and Treasure Island. I ordered Fahrenheit 451 (Old Hickory bourbon, raw sugar, Regan's orange bitters, and cherrywood smoke -- they actually set the drink on fire so it would smoke), and my sister had Great Expectations (Zephyr gin, Italicus, lemon, pomegranete, simple syrup, and Zardetto Prosecco). We really enjoyed our drinks, and despite being pricy (drinks ranged from $15 to $18, which, while not cheap, is not higher than most places), we would liked to have stayed for another one, but unfortunately we only had time for one round. Nestled along the Delta Atrium, this lively tavern feels worlds away from a convention hotel. With outdoor patio seating overlooking the indoor waterways and lush gardens, I kept forgetting I was inside a resort. The atmosphere reminded me of the River Walk in San Antonio--relaxed, energetic, and full of people enjoying good food, good drinks, and good conversation. This became one of our favorite places to unwind. The bartenders were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun. Whether you stop in for a local Tennessee bourbon, a craft beer, or one of their signature cocktails, you'll feel right at home. Our group shared nearly everything on the snack menu, and that's absolutely the way to experience it. The house-cured beef jerky was tender, savory, and layered with soy, ginger, black pepper, and just enough chili flake to keep you reaching for another bite. The "Caviar of the South" pimento cheese lived up to its Southern nickname. Rich buttermilk cheddar blended with roasted pimentos, served with crisp house-made crackers that disappeared almost immediately. The candied pecan-crusted bacon planks struck that perfect balance of smoky, salty, and sweet. They're indulgent in all the right ways. The crunchy spicy garlic pickles were bright, crisp, and refreshing, offering a welcome contrast between the richer bites. The crispy black-eyed peas were addictive. Lightly seasoned with sea salt and barbecue spice, they were one of those snacks everyone kept grabbing handfuls of without realizing it. And don't skip the chocolate pecan brittle. The hickory-smoked caramelized cocoa nibs gave it a wonderful Southern twist that made a simple sweet finish feel memorable. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was how comfortable the entire experience felt. No one hurried us. The atmosphere encouraged conversation, laughter, and lingering over another round. If you're staying at Gaylord Opryland, don't assume you need to leave the resort to find a great place for drinks and shareable bites. American Craft Tavern delivers exactly the kind of casual gathering place every great resort should have. Grab a patio table, order several plates for the table, sample some Tennessee whiskey or a local craft beer, and simply enjoy the evening. Life is too short not to travel well and eat well. Sometimes your next favorite meal is waiting just a few steps from your hotel room.

Great place for people in the day who may be remote working and just want to get out of the house for a while. Evening and night crowd are great as well. Very sociable place and people will invite ya into conversation. There is also coffee, tea, mocktails, kratom, some light packaged snacks. Very clean environment. The owners and team take great care in ensuring safety of guests and consumption of products are done with care. I love Karaoke nights on Thursday, but they sometimes do Trivia on Tuesday. Great place, good company, and new passages! See ya around, say hey.

The creaminess of the Royal Cinnamon is addicting.... Just dont ask how msny calories lol
