Friendly service, good beer and delicious BBQ food! The portions are generous and the atmosphere is chilled and pleasant.

The lady taking the orders was initially not very welcoming, however, I had to understand that she probably has to deal with indecisive people all day. Our server was awesome though so it balanced out staff experience. The food was just ok. I did not like the mac n cheese nor the string beans. The brisket was tender but flavorless without sauce. I did love my jalapeno cheese sausage though. I tasted my friend's wing and that was delicious! Seems that this is a very popular local place so it's good to see everyone meeting up for dinner.

Ok!!!! Better than I expected. A great view of catfish.

I couldn't wait after my last review to try the catfish dinner....5 pieces of small fish. It was OK. My catfish sandwich was a lot better before. Sides: Cornbread 4 Mac: 3, Grits Casserole: 5, Potato Salad: 3 Banana Pudding: 5!! Amazing value for money. Especially Uber Eats deal. I love the attention to service and packing. You can tell that everything was double checked. I can't wait to try the bbq.

We came here for a short weekend trip and had to get some good barbecue that is hyped up in this city! It was very confusing to order and the lady was pretty impatient with us so we got everything. We got the platter with one of each meats of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn, fries and banana pudding. My favorite was the pulled pork and ribs- both tender and flavorful. The brisket was a little fatty and tough which was not to my liking. For the sides the mashed potatoes and corn were disgusting (also not a fan of sweet potatoes and the corn was watery). The banana pudding was a 100000/10. I never had pudding before and that was life changing. The mac and cheese and fries were average. Overall for the price and quality this place is worth it! You cant go wrong with getting any of the meats here. We paid like $60 for everything and it was well worth it!

Customer service was great. Was greeted when I entered and very friendly when answering questions. I ordered the brisket and jalapeno sausage dinner with grits casserole and green beans. It also came with cornbread. I also ordered a catfish sandwich. I love grits. Was unfamiliar with a grits casserole. It was good. They had a little kick but not bad. The green beans were very flavorful. The cornbread was okay. The brisket was okay. I appreciated that there wasn't a lot of fat on the slices. The barbecue sauce helped it which was sweet with a kick. The jalapeno sausage was good. I had never heard of the combination. The catfish sandwich was excellent. The catfish was fried perfectly and seasoned well. The tartar sauce was great. I only had one bite of each because it was late in the day. Leftovers were good.

Went here for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised. Being a Texan, BBQ on the road is sometimes questionable but Edley's delivered a stellar product. The restaurant feels like a typical BBQ house in Texas, great decor, good vibes and sweet smoky smell. I had the 2 meat plate, lean brisket and sausage and both were absolutely on point. The sauce had a good little kick to it making it the perfect compliment to the Smokey meats. The beans were called baked beans, but were more like good pinto beans with a sweet taste, they were very good. The service was good, there are no waitstaff, you order when you walk in, they give you a number and then a runner brings your food, drinks are self serve, so its hard to judge service so i will leave it at good. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Edley's will forever be on my Nashville to-do list, even on a Monday it was packed and people were standing in a long line, fighting the rain to get there. That was enough to get me inside without a plan for what to order. First, I have to say get a combo platter, I can't imagine only getting one type of protein since everything looked so good. I'm not sure which was better, honestly, so I'll have to get a combo on my next visit, too. For sides, my choices were even more confusing, I wanted them all. But, settling on green beans and mac-and-cheese was an excellent plan as they were both incredible. The green beans did have a substantial amount of pepper, which was perfect, but may not be suitable for everyone. Oh, the cornbread, don't skip out on the cornbread. I can't wait to go back!

OKAY NOW NASHVILLE -- I don't remember the last time I had mac & cheese & it was it was good really, other than my own. This mac & cheese is incredible. I don't even like beef or anything like that, but I tried a little bit of brisket that I gave my dog and boy that was so good so tender and it tasted like organic . The green beans were amazing, the fried pickles amazing, my catfish sandwich was okay, but the flavor was there. I loved their in house made sauces too. I LITERALLY AM CRAVING AGAIN. I'm also giving four stars because the customer service is amazing, they were out of something and they communicated with me efficiently and politely with no problem. thank you so much.

Was on my way out of Nashville and needed to try some BBQ before I left. Swung by before the rush and got a brisket and rib combo platter with collard greens and Mac and cheese. Everything was so good and that cornbread was chef's kiss. Would definitely come back the next time I'm in town!

First time here after seeing Edley's on Fox News but not exactly the same location this one was closer to our hotel. They have several locations to choose from. We arrived on Wednesday at 4:00 and it was 25% full. I ordered the burnt ends with Mac and cheese, was good a bit too much bread crumbs, the cornbread a bit dry, the burnt ends moist and tasty and the grits were good. I give my meal a 4. The wife had a juicy 1/2 chicken with delicious-collard greens and awesome green beans. The cole slaw was a tasty vinegar dressing that I loved. I gave her dinner a 4.5. Pretty good. The chicken came with barbecue and Carolina white sauce on top. She asked if they could redo the chicken without the sauce, it came very quickly. A great meal for under $40.

Wanted to try some authentic Nashville BBQ while in town and this restaurant had really good views. The food was good. I had the brisket and ribs combo with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The service was quick and efficient. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the cornbread. I'm used to having plain cornbread however this one has corn and another Ingredient inside. Me personally, I wasn't a fan of that. But other than that throughly enjoyed it. If you are in the area I would recommend it.

We came to Nashville for a concert and was told about Edley's BBQ and had to try it. Food: the food is average in my professional opinion for a bbq resturant. The greatest food is the ribs which is well seasoned, nicely bbq, and tasteful. The side or okay; the collagreens too oily, mac&cheese a bit bland, the fries are really good, and the cornbread is amazing. The drinks are nicely mixed. Service: the staff is high upbeat and friendly. The service is good with attention to needs and provide service with a smile and provide feedback to what's popular and tasteful on the menu. Ambiance: the vibe is very traditional style like a Texas Roadhouse. Everything is open seating and country wood style. The overall is a 3.7/5

Tri Star Platter- pork, chicken, brisket, cornbread, Mac n cheese ($2 upgrade)

Moved here a week ago from Milwaukee and Chicago. Donelson area food scene disappoints. First joint my wife and I tried in the area. Got the tri-platter (chicken, pork, brisket)- the pork tasted good and smoked/charred- the chicken and brisket were a disappointment, along with the size- for $25+, we expected a decent portion to share, which was about 3 pieces each. Cornbread was a dry letdown. Mac n' Cheese upgraded side was small and 'breaded' with a few bread crumbs. Got a beer that was flat, and served in a 'mason jar' that wasn't even a 9oz beer for $10+. Service was fine, food was basic and lacking.

There are drinks that are refreshing/lighter and ones that are more spirit-centered. They also have small bites that are really excellent pairs to the drinks. 2 - It is very small. So if you feel like you'll land on a spot because someone popped in and just left, you might be out of luck. We were able to be seated because we came a little earlier, and I believe someone at the bar left earlier than anticipated. 3 - It's quite dark/moody. If you have a person who's weirded out by spaces like this, go somewhere else. If you can't read the menu in the darker/lower lit spaces, bring out your phone's flashlight. One thing that's GREAT about the menu is that they have it in contrasting colors (ie light paper and black ink) and the font is large. There was a spot that I went to recently where the lighting was very low and they used a dark tan font on manila colored paper. If the lighting was normal, it wouldn't have been a problem ... but in lower light, the lack of contrast was not helpful! 4 - The staff is really great. I know that I mentioned it before, but if you've ever been to places like The Aviary in Chicago or places like this, you'll feel that this is right in the same lane.

You step into a clean, medium fancy, and extremely well-decorated but still small bar with really casual vibes. There's a mix of bar-top and small tables/couches for seating, but because of the small size, this is ideal for a solo, a couple or a group of no more than 4. It was decorated for Christmas when i came but the normal vibe seems more European punk, and I love the purple-green lighting -- hope that's always around! I loved the ambiance in here, it's upbeat, you can tell the bartenders have regulars and are friendly to chat with, and overall feels like it's a fun spot, even just walking inside. I came solo for a nightcap after dinner and was able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar. Service was just two bartenders for the whole place (which was about 3/4 full), but they were both pretty quick in providing me a menu. The menu is pretty large - almost 4-5 pages purely of cocktails, but also a few options for wine, beer, NA and extremely light bites food (wouldn't plan on having a full meal here.) I opted for two drinks off their signature cocktails list: Dolce Inverno (pistachio liqueur, vodka) and the Smoke n' Cider (apple brandy, cinnamon, smoke). Both drinks were pretty enjoyable, particularly the Smoke n' Cider which had a nice presentation to smoke the drink and also just great flavor. I do think these seem on par with other cocktail spots in east, but maybe not my top tier craft cocktail spots overall for Nashville. Service was super friendly and I think I enjoy the vibes here even more than the actual drinks. Having a small private parking lot is a huge plus, because otherwise parking would be a bit difficult as there aren't many options for street parking near here. This would be an awesome spot to catch up with a friend or just people watch solo, and I'm certain to be back!

In the spirit of getting out and making an effort to explore my new city I decided to find a place to go and enjoy a solo date night and grab a fancy drink. You know the vibes a Carrie Bradshaw moment but make it Nashville style. I found this place via instagram and read all the great reviews and decided to get out and try it. A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect. This place is the perfect solo date night spot or date spot with your special someone or catch up sessions with friends. I enjoyed sitting, sipping and writing this review.
