Amazing food and coffee. Staff is always friendly and accommodating especially with my little ones. Great place to bring the family.

First time coming here and the service was good, food was good, I sat at the bar which is kind of small but everybody was very attentive! Food is priced decently but the drinks are a little expensive. Just double check the menu because I believe some items can't be ordered before 11am. Would definitely come again though. read more

Fire Up Grill - Can't believe they charge 18% gratuity for a couple of drinks and an appetizer.. ridiculous. Never going back - Bars Near Me - Riverside, California

I gave 2 stars for the ambiance being on the Mission walkway, but that shouldn't be included because "FIRE" chose that spot.. It's a bar.. We're were charging on the roof and decided to go and have a bite to eat, being that it was a Wednesday, they were not busy, so I expected our waiter to be a little more attentive.. he did not smile, say welcome..I opted for the patio..the food came , he forgot my sides and it was cold when it finally came..my husband's burrito was also lukewarm not hot. I did try to get his attention but he was busy folding napkins.. did I mention it was not busy... I think going to a restaurant later in the evening, everything from service ,to smiles, to just sheer excitement for the common folk coming out spending hard earned cash should not be taken for granted. read more

I've been here before and the food was good. But the last time we went I was not impressed. The server seemed like he was having a bad day. I wished him better days ahead. The place is clean and good decor/food presentation. I'll give it another shot! They do have amazing charro beans read more

My friends and I came here on Friday night to celebrate our birthdays, and honestly, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived, security checked our IDs and told us the wait for our table would be about 15 minutes, which was fine. He said we could grab a drink at the bar while we waited. But the place was tiny and completely overcrowded, with almost no room to stand. We still ordered drinks and tried to make the best of it. Then, one of the servers (dressed as Catwoman for Halloween) rudely told me to "get out of her way" because she couldn't get through. There was barely any space to move, and instead of politely asking, she had an attitude like we were in her way on purpose. It felt really unprofessional and disrespectful. After waiting way past an HOUR, we noticed another party that arrived way after us get seated before us with menus and chips already on the table. When we asked about our table it was just an inconvenience to them. The staff seemed irritated anytime we tried to ask a simple question. Eventually, we asked for the manager, and the person who came over (dressed as a "king") and told him how unfair the treatment and service we were getting. At that point, we decided to just leave and take our celebration elsewhere. Overall, disorganized, and the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place especially if you're coming for a special occasion. read more

Great food and service. I've only been there for breakfast and tried it on a Friday morning in December. Service was friendly and great. Food was delicious. I got their chilaquiles and a cafe de olla. I was the only one at the bar sitting inside because it was a little chilly outside but the patio was pretty full of customers. I'll be back to try their lunch one day. read more

This place looks bigger from the outside than what it really is. Sat at the bar that sits 5 people. It was a quiet night so I enjoyed it. It does get busy when the sun goes down. The Michelada 5/5 The shrimp Enchiladas 5/5 I'm definitely coming back for more. read more

Love this place! Great drinks food and ambience! Nancy gave us an amazing customer service!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. They had a DJ playing some Spanish jams. The music was loud but I was still able to hold a conversation with my friend. The fries were good, the serving size was great for 2 people to share. The chips and salsa were also good. And the cucumber Margarita was delicious. It was really hot that day and the margarita was refreshing. I would say it's the best cucumber Margarita I've had so far. Will definitely be ordering that again. The service was great. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I'm glad I stopped by, 10/10 recommend. read more

Had been wanting to try this place and recently went with my sisters. Automatically, waiter did not look happy to seat us. We had a baby and a child with us. Baby cried for a bit in the beginning, she then ate and slept for most of the time and the other child was seated the whole time. We noticed all the other tables had chips and salsa and we didn't. A gentleman sat at a nearby table and he was provided with that automatically. We had to ask for the chips and salsa. When it came to taking our order he once again looked annoyed. There was an older gentleman, a younger gentleman and a woman when we were there. We definitely felt the most uncomfortable when the older gentleman would come back due to his attitude. Drinks and food were enjoyable . We did notice right away that the food (chilaquiles) wasn't warm and my sister had gotten her plate (birria rack) before the rest of us. That was a bit awkward. We then got the rest of the food together. Little things started to add up making us unhappy and uncomfortable with this experience. As a group, we enjoyed spending time together but not because of the service that was provided. I do hope others have a better experience when visiting this establishment. read more

We came here to celebrate my birthday and my friend's birthday because we had heard it was a fun place. When we arrived, the waiter seemed annoyed from the start. My 3-month-old niece was crying because she was hungry, which is why we specifically asked for a table outside. And she fell asleep the whole time we were there. After we ordered, we noticed that other tables were being served chips right away. I had also seen online that they sometimes offer conchas, but even just chips would have been nice while we waited. There were six of us, and they brought one plate about 15 minutes before the rest of the food. By the time everyone else received their meals, that person had already finished eating, which made the experience feel very disconnected. Everyone's food came cold, specially chilaquiles, like they were sitting under the AC for a while. My sister also asked if they did anything for birthdays, since we had seen online that they do. The waiter responded, "No, we don't do that. I mean, I can offer you a shot or something if you want, but we don't celebrate that." This was especially disappointing after seeing so many videos of them going all out for birthdays, which is a big reason why we chose this place. The response felt dismissive and didn't match what we expected. read more

Upon walking in, we were greeted and sat in the patio. It was chilly and they turned on a heater which was fantastic. They were busy on this Saturday morning and then the server took our orders. Drinks came out fast and food shortly after. One concern: the last meal came out 8 min after everyone else. Besides that, we will be back. The food was amazing and we enjoyed our visit. Came here for lunch and left disappointed. Sat at the bar and ordered some gin cucumber drink which came out average. Had some chips and salsa with guac as well in the meantime. The chips were tasty but the salsa and guac needed salt and seasoning. Ordered the Molcajete to share for lunch and this is where it went downhill. We waited 40minutes for our food to be cooked. The meat was tough, chewy, and lacking flavor, would not recommend this dish. Would be one star but they gave us a shot as an apology for having to wait. The price for the quality of food was slightly shocking as well. Paid just over $100 in total for 2 drinks, a meal, and app, which included tip. Not worth the value. TLDR; go elsewhere. read more

First off food wasn't that good service sucked they were more concerned getting peoples drinks ready then providing good service. Will never be back here again. They attended to the group they came in later because they were ordering alcoholic drinks. read more

The food was decent , came out warm which is nice . Don't be fooled by the " happy hour " they post on their insta gram as it is only applies to the " original margarita" and the other 1-2 " original " cocktails. Chips and salsa: Ok #1 - Enchiladas: Good, but not enough salsa. The chicken was very dry. #2 - Flautas: Bad. Menu read tinga, but it was white unseasoned, dry chicken. When we asked the waitress about it, she said they no longer make tinga. The menus need to be updated. #3 - Ceviche: Gross. Shrimp tasted very sour. Food appearance: Ok. Very Colorful but no aroma. The food was warm. Service: Bad. The waitress only checked on us 2x. Our plates were aarived separately. Long wait for our check. I had to go get the check and found the waitress on her phone. Heads up: Autogratuity for a party of 3. read more

I have seen the reviews and the food pictures many times and holy guacamole, they looked good. When approaching the hostess stand the place looked buzzing. The services was decent but where everything went.... Not so well was the food. Let's start with the best of the food. The side of fruit I ordered was the best thing. The menudo that was $15 tasted like Juanita's menudo you buy at the grocery store for $3 including tax. This menudo was very hominy forward and had little accoutrements to go on the side. Only onion and cilantro. I had to ask for lemons, and silverware, and napkins. Like I said, server was nice but I will not be coming back for the food prices or food quality. read more

Its a small space with a fair sizes patio. I needed a restroom and don't have to be told to make a purchase or at least be gracious and extra tidy about it. A margarita it was! The house Marg was tasty and just the perfect balance of sweet and tart. No paper menus it's all on your phone but my phone was almost dead and 30 miles from home I didn't dare download it. The bartender was quick to hook me up with a charging spot. I sat at the bar and really liked this bartenders deminer, I saw him greet friends with a hearty shake of hands and pick up little kids for a quick hug and face to face hello. Sometimes it's easy to see someone's best side. I will absolutely return to Fire Up! read more

Awesome experience and amazing food! We sat at the bar and had a great time with the music and bartender. I'd definitely come back again!

Came to eat after going thru the mission inn Festival of Lights. The wait wasn't so bad but you can see that the spot was busy. The isn't much indoor seating so most of it is outdoor patio seating. Recommend bringing a jacket since the heat lamp wasn't working where we were sitting since they did not have any gas tanks. The music can be a little loud but the server was nice enough to turn it down so that the tables near the speaker isn't Yelling at eat other. Service was quick even though it took a while for us to be checked on after seating us. Our server was very nice to acknowledge that they are super busy and that their service is a bit more slow, so he gave us an extra shot of liquor with each of our drink orders. The food coming out of the kitchen was pretty slow and it took a while for the server to bring us chips and salsa. Once the chips came then everything else followed within 10-15 min. Now for the ingestible items.... - drinks: plenty strong as is without the extra shot and it was not super sweet. Good job bartender. - chips and salsa: chips were hot and seasoned. The salsa was a perfect level of spice and flavor. I normally don't describe something as fire, but that salsa was FIRE. - fire up fries: good level of crunch with the fries. It was not soggy at all. Couldn't tell if the cheese was actual melted cheese or some sort of queso cheese, but it was good. The chicken pastor was okay? Mostly tasted like steamed chicken thighs with some light seasoning to me. The fries with the liquid cheese, pico de gallo and guacamole was delicious - molcajete w/ rice and beans: rice was bland. Salted but nothing special. The beans are whole pinto beans and it seems like they put some of the birria consommé in it? It was red and had some strands of meat or something in it, so definitely flavorful. Molcajete came out super hot as expected. The sauce was well seasoned and has a nice kick. The chicken in the Molcajete again felt like it was just boiled chicken... the beef was a bit tough because it was not sliced against the grain. Would come back for appetizers, drinks and vibes. Not sure I'd return for more entree style dishes. read more
